Today the goal is to break 50. So I brought in one of the best golfers in the world, Colin Morawa. Oh, Colin. Thank you. Oh, no. Come on. Oh, we did it. Previously, 50 has only been broken by myself, Bryson the Shambo, and Garrett Clark. We’re not giving up. We’re not giving up. It has never been done with just two people. Oh. Oh my goodness. This is a tough green. Little bull up front. Okay. Sorry, Colin. No, no sorryries in this game today. We’re either going to do it or we’re not, you know. Oh, it’s a little right. It’s one. It’s one or the other. Oh, Colin. Did he just haul it on the first hole? What a shot. Where is that sky? Uh, it’s close. I can’t really see it. That little like you did that little helicopter. I know. I that’s when I get quick and I just That was kind of sick though. A little Arie Palmer. So you’re actually nervous right there. I mean a little bit. Yeah. So like that compared to the first T- shot, let’s say at Oakmont. I’d say more nervous right now cuz I have you as a partner. Yeah. Team golf’s very different. Like when you’re playing with a partner, like you want to just you want to perform 100%. And I think we do it so much when we play, you know, a major championship or whatever it is that you’re nervous, but you know what to do. this I just and and we have I mean we have to shoot 2200 fires. I get it. I totally get it. One one bad hole for us could kind of derail us in in a very bad way. 100%. It is that that’s why this this series is so difficult. The par 3s are always the toughest. Bryson talks about that. It’s that that’s where they’re like really tricky. Okay. Wait, where I thought you were like I think I might be through. Yeah, you might be on the back. Not good. It’s okay. Oh, you’re right here. You’re fine. Look at this green. This is how our greens are going to look all day, dude. They’re awesome. Big slopes and TPC lost. I’m not even bringing a putter. I forgot we got the putt for this thing. We might not have to. Yeah, guys. Last time me and Colin were together, it was violent. It was aggressive. We were trying to destroy each other. And now it’s like, hey, we got to flip the switch. Be friends. We are. We are. Yeah. We haven’t chipped yet, so we have no idea how these things are going to land. Right. That is actually true. You were on the range for an hour and a half and then chip one time. We’ve been perfecting our irons, guys. We Yeah, we actually just hit balls for an hour and a half and hit like three putts and perfected the one thing you don’t need today. Yeah. Cuts. I’m kind of nervous right now, too. Do you get ner Oh, on time. Do you get nervous for these videos? Like I mean, you play with some pretty high profile people. Like I’m getting better. Big nerves, but no. No. Yeah. Yeah, trees, you know, they’re nice. You think golf course design, you’re saying they’re just getting Yeah. Yeah. I like trees, though. I like when they line courses, dude. Oakmont. They took out all the trees. They did. I’ve I never played it before. Oakmont was actually really fun. I thought it was a Yeah. How was tough? How was your experience at Oakmont? It was good. I mean, it was frustrating because you can’t make many birdies out there because it’s just there’s so much slope. If you hit it a bat off the tea, you’re in the rough. Very tough, right? But it was uh it was a great test and obviously, you know, who doesn’t love to see a winning score at one under? Oh, I I was so I was so excited to watch everybody just like it’s kind of fun to watch everyone struggle. I know. I wouldn’t want to do that every week. No, no. And we wouldn’t either, but it’s I think to change it up every once in a while, we I I enjoy it. I know for sure. Cuz it just it’s a mental test. It is a full mental test as well as a obviously you got to play really really well. I feel like you just like at the beginning of the week, you just have to accept so many things are going to happen. Yep. It’s hard. It’s really hard to do. And it’s hard to do that on any any week, too, right? 106 to 102. 106 to 102. I mean, a puff of wind into us, man. This is t like and you have elevation you have to deal with too. Yeah. Okay. 106 to 102 but then we’re in Vegas. Uh I mean right now only a few percent. When we get to 9 it could be going 5 10%. Depending how hot it gets. Oh yeah beauty. Come on Colin 56 or 60. I love that. Boom. All right. No hole-in- ones on the channel as of yet, right? No, we actually don’t have a hole in one on the channel. Can you believe that? Zero. Zero hole in ones on the channel. Scared it. Well, I’ve had zero hole in ones in a tournament, so Oh, here it comes back. Oh. Oh my god. How does that not go in? We would have walked away. We would have We would have We would have ended this. If you just called that right there. I I have had two hole in ones at Shadow, though. Okay. But not in a tournament, obviously. Not zero in a tournament. That was like cuz you landed just short of the pin there. It goes past it. Yeah. I I I figured I had to take spin off and I shouldn’t have. Yeah. So, when we’re filming this, you just came off of the Rocket Mortgage. Yep. Played solid golf there. You said putting not ideal. Yeah. I mean, I’m driving the ball well, hitting irons pretty close, and just not making putts. And it’s frustrating because obviously that’s been my MO for my entire career, not just as a pro, but in junior golf and college. But you just go through stretches and that’s part of golf. There’s a lot of ups, there’s a lot of downs. And it’s if you’re in this little down, how do you kind of mellow it out and not go too far astray, right? Which is hard because I think I think as golfers we’re naturally crazy. Yeah. Like we try everything. For sure. I mean, yo, for sure. Everything. And that’s why people disappear. Yeah. And I don’t think people realize the things we try. The the best players know what builds their foundation. Yeah. And as long as you keep those building blocks, like that’s what you need. But it’s trust me I have I mean I I did a no glove thing. The amount of people that told me about this whole nove played uh just approach shots at travelers my first round with no glove. I played about 11 approach shots I counted and then as the week went on it went less and less because I just got more uncomfortable with it. Wait did you think it helped? I mean I was hitting cuts. Yeah. It’s interesting. But it is it’s crazy because there are people that I used to watch growing up and like you you you’ll hear their name and you’re like what happened and you never know. You never know. They maybe started searching too much calling. I mean where did you land? So you landed. We landed right here. I I Yeah. And it jumped past. I’m like, if Scotty’s not lining up his ball, why would I? So now when I get it’s still new cuz I get over it, I’m like, where am I aim? Hopefully. I think you have the most bowed wrist out of anybody I’ve ever seen cuz I think you’re even more than DJ. I don’t know. DJ has quite a bit. Not a lot. I have watched a lot of YouTube of my rounds and swings cuz when I’ve gone through this period of not hitting it as well, you go back. You go back and you’re like you get the feels or you try and get the feels. Yeah. Um, but I’ll dibble dabble. I mean, look, after I did the match with you, I think I was more excited to watch a couple of the other matches and see how they play out. Yeah. Cuz you were all about like not losing for one. My record. Yeah. Your record. Um, I, you know, but I haven’t gotten quite into, you know, I’ll wake up, pop it on or something. Um, but I think a lot of people love it and that’s that’s what’s great. I think what you’re doing for people and especially these kids, right? They love Mhm. the content that you’re putting out and that’s we talk about it all the time. It’s just insane the platform right now and it’s growing. Yeah. Pros are starting their YouTube channels. You got Tommy. Um I know you even you never know. You never know. Colin YouTube channel. Um hey, I’d watch it. I’ll tell you that. I’d watch it. Um you at least have one viewer and then like maybe your mom and dad. So you have three. I have three. Maybe my wife. So four. Four viewers. You’re hitting four irons and then others like almost every par4. Like almost every par4 you’re hitting three woods. We’re not getting that today. Not getting that today. But are they still toe cut? I try to swing hard at the ball and nothing happens. So, I’m like I’m on the same way. Like, it’s amazing how guys that have the speed, obviously, they must dial back a little bit more, right? But some guys just have like the extra five, six miles, extra gear that they can speed it up. It’s amazing. I think I mean, it’s something you have to train and it’s practice. No, I mean I at a point I should um and I know like driving stats whatever like I’m I’m not far, but I don’t feel like I’m getting lapped, you know, even though the numbers say I’m on the bottom. Yeah, but that was like you play. Exactly. Certain golf courses when the golf courses are soft, that’s where I lose more distance cuz it just doesn’t roll. But but I’ve never viewed like you’re not somebody that I’m not losing that much. No one like the announcers are never like Colins, you know, a shorter hit. Would it be nice? Would it be nice to have more distance? Of course. Who doesn’t want that? For sure. But who doesn’t want that? More distance sometimes comes some more problems. Great drive. Let’s go. Oh, wait.
