Thank you guys all so much for coming. We love you all very much. Know so many of you guys came great distances to be with us here today. So with that being said, let’s have some fun tonight and party. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] How do you feel about the wedding day? So good. I Everyone’s been asking me that and I’m like I don’t really have any emotion other than excitement. So I’m like maybe I’ll freak out tomorrow. But I feel so good and happy and it’s like finally here. So just like enjoy. Yeah. It’s been awesome. [Music] Summer, we love you guys. Summer and Grant, you guys are the best ever. Yes, you made Hillsdale College so much better. We miss you and we love you. The absolute best. GG, Big and Grandpa ever. Congratulations to the Carters. Listen guys, congrats. Um, I love you both. You know that. But no, I’m super happy for you guys. Congrats. Brand, you don’t know this, but I’ve been praying for you since Summer was born. You know, I I pray that there was a a a good young couple that was going to raise up a good, holy, strong, fierce, but kind, and gentle man that my daughter would meet and marry someday. One, two, three. I know. What the heck? Thank you. Come here. I love you guys. I also get to remember the day you told me you were dating a boy named Bran. I knew that you had a crush on your friend Bran, which you since confirmed that you did have a crush on him, even when he was dating someone else. No, I was good. I was good. I swear I was good. So, it wasn’t all that shocking, but you were really shy about it to me at first, which wasn’t typical of you or of our relationship dynamic. You didn’t tell me that you were talking to him or anything until you were actually full on dating. And anytime I asked you about it those first couple of months, you were a summer that I didn’t even recognize. You were so bashful and just giddy. Dear Summer and Grant, you’ve come together to the house of the Lord so that the presence of the church’s minister and the community. Your intention to enter into marriage may be strengthened by the Lord with a sacred seat. Christ abundantly blesses the love that binds you. Through this special sacrament, he enriches and strengthens those whom he has already consecrated in holy baptism that they may be faithful to each other forever and assume all the responsibilities of their life. It’s real now. Hello. Oh, sweetie, you look beautiful. [Music] How you feeling? Good. I just saw myself in the glass and started crying. Is this what you wanted? Yeah. [Music] Yeah. Summer, through every laugh, tear, and adventure, you’ve been by my side, making my life brighter just by being in it. You’re the greatest friend anyone could ever have, and I’m so lucky to call you my best friend. Summer. There’s a saying that friends are the family that you choose. In summer, I would choose you in every single lifetime. My mom’s favorite line. [Music] Flawless. Grant, I speak to you now. You’re going to fight. You’ll have big fights and small ones. Try not to have the small ones. But when you do fight, you have to be the one to go to her. You have to be the one to fight. And she’s worth it. I know you know that. It doesn’t matter who’s right and who’s wrong. If she’s wrong, she’ll admit it. But you have to be the one to make her talk about it. Give her space. Let her collect herself, but she won’t want to talk. Chase her and never stop chasing her because she is worth it. I would know. Summer loves with every fiber of her being, and that’s not even remotely an exaggeration. She is sunshine and warmth. And I think that’s how we knew to name her Summer. Ramp feeds that sunshine. And I see it every single day. So I don’t feel the need to give him the typical big sister threatening speech because he makes her brighter and sunnier and warmer and he doesn’t dim her and never has and I know that he never will. And I trust him with her heart. You’re a good man and you’re going to be an incredible husband. [Music] And so in the presence of the church, I ask you to state your intentions. Summer and Grant, have you come here to enter into marriage without coercion, freely and wholeheartedly? I have. I have. Are you prepared to follow the path of marriage, to love and honor each other for as long as you both shall live? I am.
