I felt like I did some things really well today. You know, I kept the ball in play for the most part. You know, I’m going to go get some recovery, get some dinner, and uh, you know, go to sleep. Thanks very much for joining me

All the BTS footage at the open has been some of the best of all the majors. I find this more exciting than the actually play in some respects 😂 you see the humans behind the players
I think the Hojgaard twins will be playing together in the last round!!
great ad for sunscreen!
The greens are so pure
Would be nice to interview some volunteers, see in the clubhouse etc
The Rollback Is a Step Backward for Golf
and
We Do Not Need to Lengthen Courses
An Open Letter
Let’s talk about the viewer experience — the customer experience — because that’s what’s being forgotten in this rollback discussion.
Fans watching from home want excitement. They want to see records threatened and broken. They want to witness the impossible become reality. A round of 58, 57, maybe even 54 one day — that’s what makes people talk, share, and fall in love with the game.
Instead, the powers that be are trying to stop progress. But why?
We’re being told that courses are too short, that players are hitting the ball too far, and that we need to “protect the game.”
But the truth is, you are forgetting about the game from a spectator’s point of view, and the wow factor many other sports have. When players are on and pull the driver out on a gettable par 4, the crowd are audible with excitement — it's how golf becomes electrifying.
And when they don't get on the green, they’re often in trouble — even if they can drive a par 4 now and then.
That unpredictability is part of the show. It's what fans tune in to see.
Here’s the reality:
Nobody’s asking for shorter drives.
Nobody’s excited about watching fewer eagles or seeing par 4s turn back into boring lay-ups.
Fans aren’t sitting at home thinking, “I wish this game were a bit more like it was in 1982.”
Golf should be allowed to evolve, just like every other sport.
Technology has moved forward, but within strict limits — like the 1.5 smash factor cap on drivers.
Players still have to execute.
Equipment doesn’t make champions — skill, discipline, and hard work do.
If someone shoots a 58, 57, 56, 55 — and hopefully in my lifetime, a 54 — on a par 72 course, that should be celebrated, not feared and restricted.
That’s what sport is all about. Why are we trying to stop it?
Rolling back the golf ball just to maintain a mythical scoring status quo is not only unnecessary — it’s backwards.
We don’t need to shorten the game or lengthen the courses.
We just need to let the game unfold naturally, letting players push boundaries and letting fans enjoy the ride.
So again, I ask:
Who is this rollback for?
Because it certainly isn’t the people watching.
This is the best content coming out rn. No goofy, insincere announcers. This rocks
Love or hate BDS ,he’s moving up into the top ten after an awful start. He knows being a complete player includes links golf and its quirks. He remembers his Dad saying never give up… right Brooksie?
The bludgeoning devices they have for putters lately 😂
Thank you for doing these every year ! ♥️
What is the face spray for?
Does anyone know the name of the waterproof brand with the small K logo is around 1 minute in?
This is why I love golf. All the players are so polite and friendly. Look at any other sport. As an American, sports like football and basketball come to mind. The way people act, speak, and carry themselves matters. Every single player is a class act, they’re all wonderful role models.
absolutely insane the way the stands clear out between rory's group and the next group
Great fight by Rory et al. but you can't fight a force of nature. Scottie was a force of nature.
Jordan marking his golf balls on the tee is such a Jordan move
Love seeing these behind the scense. Just posted something on Koepka’s rise — insane trajectory. 👊
