That shot J. What a birdie. I don’t believe it. What a bird. I don’t believe it. He nearly held out at the par three and he did one better at the very next hole. The genius of Mickelson. That’s for Birdie on eight. Second in a row. Man fell two under today. Beautiful shot there, Jay. Right over the flag. Shane Lowry for three birdies in a row at nine. Oh, oh, straight over it here at four. Oh, come on. Come on. Laserike. That looked like a good swing. He’s in a good line. It’s [Applause] [Applause] over on the left. That looks like Matthew Jordan. Go on. Go on. Oh, huge draw. uh a two on his card. He’s always got a ready smile. Here she comes. Little nudge with the breeze to straighten out if it’s the right distance. This is a honey bunch. Oh, great shot. Beautifully played. World class. Oh, lovely. Oh, gorgeous. Oh, magnificent. Oh, unlucky. What a shot. Never left the flag. Found a nice line. Justin Thomas has made the most of it. Look at these iron shots today. Oh, put on a bit of string. Nothing but net. Players should be getting up to this green today if they can keep it straight. Yeah, that’s the difficulty here. We’ll get a shooting balance. Fire it over the hill and then keep your fingers crossed. Oh, and there’s a shooter if ever I’ve seen one. That was the shootiest shooter of all time. Oh. Oh, amazing. Leading the way in greens and regulation. What a start. 146 for our leader. [Music] again. That’s you see it time and time again. The distance control and now the direction is perfect. Oh, Scotty Chef. What a start. What a statement. Behold my greatness in the fringe. Surely not. Oh, surely yes. He’s gone sideways at the end. We saw Russell Henley nearly holding it in for Chris Gaut. That is a gift. [Music] Closing a darn good line, wasn’t it? He said he couldn’t see where the flag was. Delicately played. Beautifully played. Let’s go to the 18th. The Shambo second. Be right. He’s saying needs a bounce. Be right. Oh, be right. That was a little unlucky. What a shot. Amazing. Cover the flag all the way. Tong Lee. He’s tall enough to see the top of the flag. [Applause] Gathering. Gathering. Well done. [Music] Absolute masterclass. Had a little look on the way by, didn’t it? spin and spins perfectly. Connors at the 14th off a little ups slope to this narrow green. Oh, what a beauty. What a photograph. Fantastic. [Applause] [Music] sounded sweet and it was sweet. That was sweet as honey. What a beautiful shot. John Parry hole in one yesterday on the 13th. [Applause] Not too far away from that. pulling two today. US Open champion. His final iron shot today chasing the green. Oh, look at this one. No, that’s fantastic. next to his playing partners. Go kick right. Oh, that was a me just bouncing heavy so long. That was wonderful. Beautiful angle. Oh, what a what a shot. Back to business for Scottish Heftler. [Music] Oh, stop it. That was a danger though off that trotten down grass. Oh my. The grass gets kind of compacted and and and you know, the grass is all moving in different directions. It’s it’s trampled down and nasty and you can just see all you know different directions. Yeah, that ball just high in the club face pops straight up in the air. One of the tougher holes on the inward stretch is the 14th Windom Clark. Well, it made it look very easy. What a superb second. Well, that will get him to 10 under par. Good. Right. Harris English to 11ando after that bogey on the 11th. Brian Harmon please. It sure is. Yes. Marcus Patrick. Come on. Do it for him. Do it for him. Do it for him. Do it for him. Oh, what an effort. What an effort. Awkward bunker shot. Slightly on the hanging lie. Oh, he’s so excited. The drinks are on me. It is the greatest walk in golf. And if you have a four shot lead, you can enjoy every single step of the way. Hats off to Scottish, the champion golfer, Scottisher. He felt in his career, and you certainly felt today, it was only a matter of time before he claimed the greatest prize in golf. Toy master a PJ champion and now the champion golfer. He’s starting to move into the company of the greats of the game. What a performance. Here comes dad. With a score of 267, the winner of the gold medal and the champion golfer of the year, Scotty Sheffller. Well, it’s a simple announcement for the greatest prize. Scottish airflow becomes the champion golfer. Real star of the show. Out must just be starting to walk. [Music] Under clubed. Here we go. Few players have struggled with that left side of that green this week. Phil the claret jug with lusks. They’re definitely pictures for the family album, aren’t they? He’s still a young man, Scottish. It’s amazing to think how many more he might go on to win. We’ve just got the US Open for the Grand Slam. Two Masters, one USPJ, and now the Open Championship belongs to Scotty Sheffler, the world number one, taking the greatest prize in the game. We hope you’ve enjoyed it. We look forward to seeing you at Burkedale next year when Scotty Sheffller will be defending. Port Rush has delivered, but Scotty Sheffler has come and seen and he’s conquered.

  1. Scottie – simply no BS, no YouTube golfer, no social media influencer, simply FOCUS and CONSISTENCY. If he continues like this, he will go down as one of the greatest to play the game.

  2. Outside of the thumbnail, this was one of the best highlight videos I’ve seen in a while. Well balanced and showed a lot of players and a lot of different types of shots. Cheers to you guys!

  3. Or we can show more of the leader. 90% of the time we dont get to watch the final match because of streaming services bullshit fyi. Weak highlight reel

  4. Scottie is winning me over. I played some low level competitive golf. He’s such a brilliant craftsman and artist of the game. He obviously keeps it low key because he loves his wife and son unlike Tiger did. The world needs a Scottie Sheffler.

  5. Why are we subjected to brutal American commentating. It is absolute trash like Fox News trash. European commentators are by far and away ten times better And this is coming from North American, by the way.

  6. I don't understand why they showed Rorys and Scottys bad shot. Literally everything else was a great shot. Were they the only ones to hit a bad shot today?

  7. How can you not like Scheffler the man? As a golfer, he’s damned near flawless. I can see him winning double digit majors.

  8. Scottie is a great player but never acknowledges how much the crowd appreciate his talent. Never touches his cap or smiles like players before him. Look at videos from the past. When he walked up the last fairway not a smile. Come on Scottie make an effort.

  9. Maybe one day he’ll be almost as good as tiger. Maybe he will be mentioned legitimately in the same breath as jack. Judging by his statement a few days ago, it’s the pursuit an aura that is unfulfilling.

  10. That’s absolutely crazy you spoiled the winner in the title, can’t believe there isn’t a golf highlights channel that can’t get it right

  11. If you're bitching about the thumbnail, shut up. Either pay to watch it, DVR it, or check in every 15 minutes online like a real fan.

  12. 10:05 the best highlight of the entire event….nice to see a man that knows what really matters and doesn't let his success blind him from that.

  13. This wee links course depends on bad weather to make it difficult. For a major it offered little resistance and got basically dismantled by the field.
