Sheen Golf Clubs. Yes, Sheen, the fast fashion website us Americans love to buy cheap products on. And on Sheen, you can buy a full set of golf clubs for just under $250. That’s a driver, irons, wedges, putter, the whole thing. And somehow they don’t look horrible. Now, to be honest with you, we didn’t think these clubs would even show up from the questionable website to the not so promising reviews. So, are these clubs just cheap garbage, or are these actually a diamond in the rough? Let’s find out. All right, we are here at Apple Mountain testing Sheen golf clubs. Now, for those of you that don’t know what Sheen is, Sheen is a fast women’s clothing website. I’ve seen guys get clothing there, too. It’s just like cheap overseas kind of like Teemo, honestly. They’re known for their clothes, and they’ve got drivers right next to their clothes. So, we’re like, “Oh, we can buy golf clubs from here.” So, that’s that’s exactly what we’ve done. Looks pretty nice. It says Ultimate on here and we’re going to review see what this thing has in store. We have not looked at these yet. Yeah, we’ll see how ultimate they are. You want to do the honors? Unveiling. See what they look like. Haven’t seen them yet. All righty. They make sure these things are protected. That’s for sure. Is there a full set in there? Um, I guess it’s less than I thought. You got more with the Timu starter set, actually. But you got one, two, three, four, five. Looks like maybe a wedge and four irons. Not good. No. Not good. Not good. Come on, Sheen. Okay, Owen, take a look. First impression, sixiron. They They don’t look that bad. It’s the face that does it for me. Oh, what the heck? It’s like the hoszle comes out goofy, too. But take a look at this. We got the putter. Most starter sets, I feel like, come with a blade. This one is little mallet. It’s very tiny of a head, but it actually looks okay. I don’t mind the look of this thing. Is it tow hang or face balance? Uh, it’s a slight towh hang. It’s perfect. Yeah, I like tried fitting into the gray zone of like it’s not completely but you can still use it. What about the wedges? So we’ve got pitching wedge, 9 iron, 8 iron, 7 iron, and 6iron. Not a single wedge though, like an actual wedge that you can use around the greens. Wait, that driver kind of looks legit. Wait, it just seems short. I know. It look It feels like a kids club. It does. Look at this. This is the four hybrid. Sleek. I will say they’re not bad looking. Like this is a good looking club. In total with the Sheen bag, you get five irons pitching to sixiron, a putter, and three woods for $243. If you’re just starting out with golf, I mean, you can’t you can’t complain cuz like that would be a normal maybe wedge wedge and a half from a big brand. So, for $243, you get all of this. Now, let’s see if they I just shot 66 out here. Let’s see if they can actually complement my game or if they’re a big hindrance. I I think they’ll be a big hindrance, but we’ll give a fair review. No, we’ll do on how well these perform for $243. Made it to the first hole. We’re going to have a little one v one flip. Let’s see who gets to use the sheen club first. You want to do mattress stroke? I think we do real golf cuz obviously they’re not going to be fit for us. So, they’re not going to complement our games in any way. So, I think it’ll be interesting. I love these grips. I’m not going to lie to you. These grips are great. They’re tacky. They’re sticky. They feel like I just got done with a three-hour range session and it’s sweaty outside. I love them. Here we go. Oh wow. Safe to say you hit it pretty well. I was not expecting that. How’s that feel? I It felt great. Really? Yeah. I mean the shaft didn’t throw you off or just good tempo. I don’t know. I I found the fairway. See if I can do the same thing. Stay in. That kind of brutal kick. Could be in though. First impressions, I could feel the lag in the club on the way down. It almost felt like it stalled and I blocked it a little, but I mean it’s it’s a club. The thing that amazes me is that that club is an inch and a half shorter than normal clubs and you still happen to hit behind it. Like you would normally think that you What do you mean I hit I hit behind it both times? Really? I hit the ground? Yes, dude. Maybe it’s good for you, Ash. I Maybe now that it’s shorter cuz you bombed it. I think it fits you more. No, it’s all right. Yeah. You know what? Good. Technically, that means you’re lower to the ground if you’re hitting the ground. No, I’m just more inside. I think you’re just close to the level of it. So, perfect for you. That from a physics standpoint doesn’t make sense. Well, I don’t think physics applies here. I literally bombed it and you tripped it. Next time you’re going to play, I’m not dapping that up. YouTube. If you are beginner, new to golf, have never played golf before, you don’t know what to expect. So, we’re going to be the judge for you. And you hit it just as well as your driver. That is a fact. That is a fact. We need to get your club shortened. Nope. Any ideas of what they’re going to shoot today? I think Ash will go low because they’re shorter clubs. 65 yds out. We’re going to rock the highest lofted club in the bag, the pitching wedge. You land this on the top of that hill and it all funnels to the pen. It’s a really hard angle from here. Oh, that could come down the hill. Yeah, that actually might not be bad at all. One thing though, today, there’s no actual wedge. So, come here. Oh, look at this. Like, these are all very high bounce. So, it’s going to it’s going to definitely test your uh your ability to get creative. It’s almost perfect. Yeah, that was pretty good. That was Hey, just for comparison, I want to see you hit a shot with your 58. Like an actual wedge. I want to see what you would actually hit. It’s a little nicer than the pitching wedge, huh? That’s a hard shot because the green slopes away at the front. Belle bought Sheen the other day. She got a a watch, a bracelet, and a necklace for 20 bucks, and they all look legit. Really? Yeah. You would not be able to tell it’s a machine. That’s why girls love it. I’ve never bought anything from there, but my fiance has, and it actually looks pretty good. That looked really good. I hit that really well. This feels really good. Like expected, I’d say. A lot better than I expected. All right, we went out. We’re going to take a drop right here. But this gives us the opportunity to try out the 3-wood. Looks pretty sleek on there. Same whippy shaft, but we’re going to swing light and try to throw it up there. Oh yeah. Wow. That’s actually a lot better than I thought. Wow. That might be on the green or just short. Dude, that kind of flew off. Like I barely hit that and that flew off pretty well. Well, Mr. McCarthy, we are both out. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh, John. Oh wow. You know, at first it didn’t sound good off. No, it didn’t. But it went It sounded like rubber, but it went exactly where I was aimed in the exact trajectory I wanted. Don’t sleep on Sheen. I’m telling you that was a downhill lie. Yeah. I mean, we haven’t used the irons too much, but the woods so far are better than Teemo starter set. Oh, for sure. They don’t look as good, but they perform so well. Can you get out of a bunker with a pitching wedge? Yes. Okay. I’ve hit bunker shots with pitching wedges. Some people go up to like nine iron in the bunker. Yeah, that’s kind of what I expected. Did that come out a lot easier than you thought? It just bounced. It didn’t dig at all. Yeah, it’s kind of what I figured. Oh, I hit off the collar. Oh my. Yeah, it just kicked off the collar. Shout out of course the the home course Apple Mountain. The greens are in immaculate shape right now. All right, we got out right to lefter. It’s going to get this close, too. Put for double. Didn’t break as much as I thought. Double. All right, that takes you one up. So, hole three at apple. It’s a straightaway par4. There’s water about two 45 probably from the blue te’s. And I normally just try and hit like a 4 iron stinger out there. So, I’m going to try it with a sixiron. Pretty pure. I’d say watching you swing it, the shaft definitely doesn’t allow you to do all you can do with coming through, but it lets you do something. Yeah, it’s not I mean I’m I’m going to say it now. These are a lot better than what I thought they would be when we looked down on the range. I’m going to go the same thing. Sixiron little towy play here was definitely a four hybrid. Yeah. Uhhuh. I will say when Ashen opened up these clubs first on the range, I thought they would be at a point to where the head might fly off there. Oh, but after hearing the sound that they make after they swing with them and seeing them play with it a little more, I’m thoroughly impressed. I would say don’t judge the club by how it looks. So 169 back blue pin. This is where knowing your distances with your specific clubs comes into play. I don’t know. We’re gonna find out if they go further because their player improvement or if they don’t go as far. Wow. They’re definitely gamers. They’re definitely gamers. Good swing. Thank you. And look at this. Oh, this is actually not from my leading edge. This is 100% from the bounce. Meaning like my leading edge didn’t dig into the ground. That’s 100% just from the bounce hitting it like that. It’s going to be really hard for especially for a beginner to take really big divots with these. I I don’t know if it’s possible. Definitely player improvement. Saved me there. I think Yeah, you chunk that. I did. You got away with it. Maybe I need to use some player improvement. You hit like 2 in behind. If these were my clubs, I’d be in the water. I’ll tell you that. Yeah, definitely. I saved you there. That that shows me the benefits of a thicker sole. You know, I use a thinner sole cuz Ashton’s uh he needs the help here. Yeah, it’s me. A chunk 153 yard 9 iron to 15 ft. Wow, look at these shots, boys. Look at this, man. Mine had backspin. So, that means it’s literally generating enough spin off those grooves to create backspin, which is kind of nuts. How do you think these compare to Kirkland’s? I think these are more beginner beginner friendly. Kirkland, I feel like like an average golfer could use them. These are these favor the beginners. Let’s take birdie opportunity to go back to even par. I don’t know the read entirely, but I think it’s right to left. Little too much. Little gash on that. Not bad. How’s that feel compared to your I don’t like it, but I think you pushed it. I pushed it. I absolutely I didn’t I didn’t commit to that. That was no good. No, it’s a little different. And I don’t know if it’s just cuz I hit that one good or Ashton hit it good on one. We’re getting lucky. But it seems pretty consistent. No, I don’t think we’re getting lucky cuz the same shot tapes run two as well. It it I think it genuinely just might be that good. All right, hole four. Halfway through the video. We got strawberry, green apple, and blue raspberry, which obviously that’s going to be the best flavor. No doubt about that. Did you know for blue raspberry, they used to have the slurpees at 7-Eleven, cherry and raspberry, but no one was getting the raspberry cuz they’re both red. So, they just turned it blue and people started getting it. Are you serious? It’s just raspberry. It is? Yeah, cuz there’s no such thing as blue raspberry genuinely. Yeah. I did not know that. But then we get out here, we start hearing the sound of them, how they feel, and how they look off the face. And I think it’s pretty good. Really solid for the price. I completely agree. I wanted to give them such a good review, too. I mean, you can put it where you want. It’s creative. It’s like if you didn’t like the grip right here, you’re just like, you know what? I like the grip there. It’s customizable. When you make contact, you go in a tournament, you’re like, h, you know, this hole is playing 175. I’m going to turn on my eight iron here. I’m going to turn it on. Stand stand by crank. All right. Eight iron engaged. Here we go. May or may not have gotten my head. I was going to say that’s a mental block and a half right there. That’s hard to step up knowing that the club head’s going to move in your back swing. Hey Sheen, let’s get some better glue. Okay, let’s figure this out. We’re in the bunker again. This is not ideal. I genuinely do feel with like the technology of our drivers, we would both be safe. No sign of life. 185. Wow. Honestly, my thoughts now are just keep testing out the clubs. We got a seven. I haven’t hit this one yet. The grooves are clean as can be. This thing’s going to fly out of this lie. So, we’re going to just go a nice seven. Not bad. That sounded flushed. Wow, boys. Woohoo! Dude, you can swing these. You can swing hard with that. It might be a regular stiff flex, but or a regular flex, but you can you can go after it. It could be. It is a regular flex. It is. It almost feels like a stiff though. It doesn’t feel It definitely feels whippy, but it doesn’t feel as whippy as some of the other clubs we’ve tested. Coming down the stretch, what is what’s like one takeaway from this bag? One good takeaway. What’s your favorite club or what is something you’re like, “Dang.” Okay. Sheen surprised me with this. Everything on the range. I didn’t think they’d perform at all. No, we didn’t swing as hard as we want and it still goes where we want. And the regular flex shaft and they still work, which I don’t understand how that works, but it works. All right, 75. We’re going to go a little punch pitching cuz it’s the only wedge we got. Oh, that was nipped perfectly. Spin. Spin. Good shot. Really good. I should have cleaned the grooves. I think if they were clean that would have spun a little bit cuz that was that was caught good. Maybe you hit that pitching wedge from 75 yards. Yeah, there was no chance that was ever spinning. I think we’re about 55 maybe 60 yards out of the rough. So it’ll it’ll run. I’m going to just try and land one short and trundle it up there. Oh my gosh, I murdered it. And we’re fighting for par. I hit it really good, though. You did. Oh, that could be good. That hit off the collar. Yeah, it had a big kick. That’s unfortunate. All right, we got a final birdie. Look. Oh, it hit something. Sit. These are so fast. Just got to make sure I get it there. Well, ladies and gentlemen, four over to 7 over. My thoughts actually performed really well for $244 and without having a wedge and with them not being fit for I would say better golfers. Yeah, very happy with four over and how the clubs performed except for the 8 iron. Yeah, besides the twisting 8 iron and the the customizable grip position. Yep. The set’s pretty good. Honestly, you get a lot of bang for your buck for 243. Yeah, the barrier to golf, the barrier to entry for these golf clubs. You get a bag, driver, woods, irons, putter, you just don’t you don’t get a wedge. Yeah. But yeah, I rate the set like a seven out eight out of 10 for beginners. It’s solid. All things considered, I’d give that a seven out of 10. I think for a beginner for a beginner set just because of what happened. Like I don’t know how long these will realistically last. That’s true. I don’t think they’ll last a full season. If you’re a big swinger, probably not for you. If you’re learning how to swing and you’re hitting lighter, it’s probably for you.
