Hey golf fans and welcome back to the channel. I do apologize. It seems that the servers are down for 2K 25. So instead of showcasing my open championship rounds in the weekly master, I am just going to have a round as the legend, the goat that is Tiger Woods. and hopefully enjoy a live stream with you guys. Like I say, huge apologies. That was so frustrating. I was really looking forward to to showcasing my rounds here, but this is the best I can do. Just going to make a few changes to the video as always for your guys viewing pleasure before we do tea off. I’m not sure how I’m going to achieve this though because sadly all the PJ Tour Pros play with a fade bias is it’s so annoying. So I think I’m going to have to disable the um the new the EVO swing and try and swing straight which will be fun. Not done that in a long long time. Right, edits made to the video. I do apologize, guys. So frustrating, but these things are out of my hands. Hey, my take three. Yeah, the servers are down, pal. But what we are going to try here is showcase this beautiful golf course playing as Tiger Woods. So let’s set this up. We are going to be playing from the blue T’s which are seven 291 pin set number one as it is the first round. We are going to set the winds do you know what to very high. Let’s set the winds to very high here. Let’s tee off and I will adjust the difficulty settings before we tee off. I’m just going to have to disable the swing bias. That’s all I can do because I’m not playing as a fade. As as much as I would like the practice of trying to execute a fade, there’s no chance, right? Hopefully, we can change the difficulty settings here. Right. I have been playing on legend difficulty recently as you guys can see 1.53 but swing bias that off. We’ll keep it on legend. What I’m going to do is enable the wind just so you guys can see what the wind speed is. And does this mean I’m going to play on legend swing but with a straight swing? No, it doesn’t. That is still a fed on the Claire’s. Right. Let’s see how that is. Is that going to be a straight swing? No. Oh, there we go. Yeah, there we go. So, it looks like I’m going to be swinging straight. We got a 15 mph wind. I have not played this Tiger a lot. But I tell you what, guys, this is going to be weird trying to swing straight. It’s going to be like we’re back on 2K23. Oh, I’ll tell you what. I’ll tell you what. I am shocked at that. Tell you what, that’s that ball’s running out. That is just showing you how firm this golf course is. They’re all down, Mike. Um, I put a post out in my Discord channel which is we’ve got a healthy community there and three people have got back to me saying yeah the servers are dying for them. Right, heavy rough. We’ve got a 16 mile per hour crosswind here. I just want to give myself a birdie pot. I can’t believe we ran out of fairway there. Right. What’s going on here? and needs to get down. Needs to get down. Hit the pin. Hit the pin. Right. This is fun. I forgot 16 what it’s like to execute a straight swing. And I’m surprised at how easy I found it so far. I bet I can’t do it with a pattern though. Oh my word, that ball just didn’t turn. It’s weird playing with the the bigger green grids as well. My end build’s got the the greens keeper skill where all the grids give me more detail. Right. So Tigers 290 off the team. We are playing on legend difficulty here, but we have disabled the swing bias. This par five should be easily reachable. Oh my goodness me. It’s not going to be reachable now unless I get a hell of a kick left. I tell you what, the golfing gods are with me there. That is a hell of a bounce. So 266 into the wind. Let’s just play it. Let’s play as freewood. Hopefully the wind does hold me up here. No. Opened again. So after a good start, automatically my brain wants to swing like I’m playing with a draw bias on. This is interesting. 44 pitch is just not the shot here. I’m going to play the spinner and I’m going to go full back spin here. We’re going to struggle for the birdie here to be fair. We’ve made a mess of this hole. Look how thin that swing line is. Oh, we’ve executed it. Right, I’ll take that. I’ve got a birdie pot. Oh, Mike, what a shout. Tiger’s got a stinger. Yeah, what a shout that is, pal. Thank you so much for reminding me that Tiger’s got the stinger because that is going to be a handy shot off the tea right this venue. Oh my, there’s a lot of movement in this part downhill. needs to stay up. Not hit it. I’ve not hit that. Right. That’s a pure par. Pure par that came from two horrible swings. Wow. This it just feels so foreign now trying to execute a straight swing. That wind is just changing on me. going to have to go with a choked. And I think with Doft and a little bit of top spin, let’s play a Lynx golf shot here. Let’s play this up the slope and hopefully it’s got the legs to get there. Oh, early. What is going on with the opens? Four. This is a struggle. This really is a struggle, guys, after a flawless start as well. Right, we’re going to have to flop this. I’m not sure if it’s going to get there. Oh, Tiger doesn’t have the long flop, does he? Right. Whether or not this is going to get up onto the green, I just don’t know. Oh, comfortably got there. It’s never going to bite though, right? We are going to go over par here. Unless I can chip this one in. Not hit that far enough. I know I haven’t. Who all prefers playing with the straight swing or the swing bias? There’s one for you. Hey, David. Yeah, I don’t know, mate. It’s weird. I’ve not I’ve not played with a swing by off with this game at all. So, this is like a It feels foreign, if you know what I mean. that it shouldn’t because the golf club, the golf club 2, the golf club 2019, 2K21, 2K23, we’re all the swing. But because my brain has been honed into playing with the the swing bias on recently, it just feels so weird. Right, that was better. I’ve honestly got to refrain myself from wanting to push the analog stick right at the top. This is going to be fun. Let’s see if we can’t get back to level part. Right, that wind is going to hit me hard. Let’s play the choked and we are going to go doft and top spin. That wind should hopefully take me around. But can we execute us? Look how guys what is going on with how Finn Look how thin the swing line is. We are playing on legend difficulty here. And that wind has changed on me. What is going on with the wind, man? Right. Slightly open. A that has gone way right again. Lost a lot of yardage there as well. Lot of movement. Lot of swing here. Look at that. Closed it. Tell you what, though. I tell you what, guys. Right. I’m not seeing Lee Westwood with a Oh yeah, Westwood’s one under through four. Phil Wson is two under through seven. Hoygard must have had a double bogey or two bogeies. He’s back to level par. But the old boys taking it to the the new PJ Tour Pros. And I tell you what, I think we can just about drive this green with an overpower. Pulled it. And with that wind, we’re going to be lucky to hold the fairway. Not the end of the world though. We’re pretty close there. I’m going to have to pitch this into that bank and hopefully the ball runs out for me. But this just feels so weird. That just did not come out at all well. That is going to be a tough part for Birdie. Yeah, Graeme. I mean, this was meant to be a live stream where I was playing on the the weekly master. The 2K25 servers are down. Tiger plays with a fade bias. I play with a draw bias in this game. And I for the life of me, mate, I’ve tried. I’m just not very good with a fade bias. So, I’ve had to turn the swing bias off. We’re playing on ledge and difficulty and the swing trying to swing straight is just so weird. Feels so foreign to me again. Turn back. Turn back. Oh, very nearly did a threeoot putt. We had We had made such a good start as well, guys. cuz I think we are a pack to go three under, four under through three in the actual open championship. But Phil is minus two through eight. Westy minus two through five. Get in Mike. Legends of the game. I actually really like Westwood. I’ve met him in real life at um Castle Stewart in the Scottish Open and he took time. Took a few few moments out of his his rhyme to speak to me. Very very a nice guy indeed. Right. I think we’ve definitely got enough club here. But great to play as Tiger. That wind is really going to hit me hard. Right, we’ve executed perfect. This needs to get down. Right, that’s a good approach shot. Wow, that sat down quickly. H Do you know what David, I prefer to challenge off the game, pal. But to be fair, at the moment, I think I would swing better with a swing bias on playing as my normal draw than play with a straight swing. But you know what? It’s different and I am enjoying it. It’s going to take a little while to get used to though. I won’t lie. Look at my pattern stroke though, guys. It’s terrible. I closed that by four degrees. Right. So, we are still one over at one. Okay. Right, that should be reachable in two with a good T-shot. That is easier said than done. I won’t lie, it’s taken a lot of concentration to execute a straight swing. It’s just feels so weird to me. Right, we are going to reach this in two easily. I think the three iron with that wind ball is going to shoot left here at our feet. I think we comfortably get up onto the green. Are we going to hold it? That is a different matter. Pulled it. Look how far left it’s going with that pull. There’s a problem on this venue. the firmness. But I tell you what, it’s an eagle opportunity and a very good one at that. This would get us one under if we can convert this P. I don’t think there’s too much in this, guys. I’m just going left edge. I’m hoping it turns back. That never ever broke, but I’m convinced. I am convinced that was yet again my part execution. I don’t know what it is with the pattern. I really struggle to get a straight swing on the P. Good performance there. Three shots off the pace. Mike, let’s get them. Let’s bring this back. That was a pure eagle puck. It wasn’t the read it cost me there. That was a terrible execution. But let me just what is the difficulty settings on this guys? Apologies. I just want to check. We are on legend. But with a swing bias input offset off, it really takes the multiplier down. Right. Got to find fairways around this venue. Let’s check out Tiger’s three-wood stinger. Aiming way left off the fairway here. This should have a low trajectory. Pulled it and closed it. Oh my word. Early. That was the wrong shot at the wrong time. And I am now in a world of pain. I don’t think this is getting up. No. This is a this is a struggle around this venue when you start missing fairways. That ball is absolutely buried with that wind in my face. 96. I just want to try and get myself a par here. Ball should shoot left at my feet. It’s another terrible swing, guys. Closed pool. I tell you what, Tiger at the moment would be struggling to make the cut. But I won’t lie, quite enjoying this. Not so sure about you, the viewers, watch me hack my way around here. I mean, look how thin that swing line is, guys. What is going on here? And look how far off line it goes. Legend difficulty on these settings is no joke, by the way. And this is just damage limitation. Now, is it going to be a bogey or double bogey? That was just never ever stopping. snag that double bogey and move on. Right. I have to get my putt line straight here. I have to I think we’ve got this despite the closed execution. Oh, wow. Mike, I can’t wait to actually watch it. Phil’s just a genius in those situations, isn’t he? He really, really is. Right, we are what? What am I here? Two over. Two over par through eight. I’m just going to try and get to level par here. Right, Early got to make the right shot selection here. I’m not just hitting the stinger for the sake of hitting it because I’ve got it in the bag. But we are going to hit the choke freeway. Got to hit my contact points. Opened it. And I don’t think we’re going to hold this fairly again. It is amazing how far. The ball is traveling offline with these settings. 170. We’re going to have to go 182 out the heavy rough. Wind should bring me back. Ball’s going to shoot left at our feet. Right. There we go. This could be a really good shot if it sits. Come on, Wind. I’ll take that. That is a really good shot. Tough putt though for Birdie. Turn. Turn. Didn’t turn that first grid really, did it? I’ll give you a laugh, guys. Right. And I take all my subscribers and viewers comments on board. But I got a message yesterday, a comment saying early, I think you would get more viewers if you weren’t as good at the game. He says, “Is it not boring for you knowing where the ball’s going with all the perfects you hit?” And listen, I fully understand that. But at the end of the day, right, is that not the point of the game is is to be good at the game. So, I think in future, which I’m doing here, I’m going to play my course reviews on legend difficulty rather than opposed to master. And hopefully, it’ll be more a challenge. it. Let me know in the comments in the live chat if you guys would rather I played badly. I mean, I don’t want to mess up shots deliberately, you know. I just don’t think that’s entertainment. But I do get the guy’s point, but I do have some some bad rhymes as well. Surely you guys must like be in a sterics when my P when I play a good shot, six feet miss the P, right? Can we have fairway here? Needs to get down. It should hold the left hand side here with the raised fairway. Yeah. Still a huge drive, man. 165 y. I might I I won’t lie. I I I can’t really recall that, but please feel free to um trigger my memory. I was with Yeah. with Henrik Stenson. Thanks very much, Mike. I really appreciate that, pal. Like, I’ve had people say earlier, you’ve got to get angry like an Apex Hound and like have tantrums. And I’m like, but that’s it’s not me. I’m not going to get angry over a a computer game. There’s things in real life that I’ll get angry at. It’s just not a computer game. 182. Yeah, we’re going to have to hit 182 here. And I’m going to have to put another good strike in this. Right. This should give me a birdie part. It should comfortably hold. Come on. Feed in. I thought it would have fed in off there. Right. Let’s see if we can drain a P, guys, because it’s so hard to get close to these pins. Tell you what, I like it. There we go. Good. Despite the the pure execution on the right, we’ve pulled one back, guys. We are now back to one over. Normally, my target’s minus 10. So, it just shows you how much more difficult this obviously one playing on ledge and difficulty compared to master, but two, just playing with a straight swing. It’s it just feels so weird now. It used to feel like the most natural thing on earth playing the the the previous games from 2K, but now it just feels really weird. Right, there’s a good T- shot. Rhythm was a little bit off there. The rhythm was terrible there, guys. 125 yards away, I think. Yes, Mike. Something to the back of my head. I do recall that night with Henrik Stenson, right? 126. That wind is slightly helping as well. Oh, Tiger’s got a huge gap, guys. Look, he goes 112 to 126. I actually recall that with the was it the bar steel sports challenge or the Tiger Woods challenge. That wind has changed to hurt him now. Right, we are going to hit one 36 with good bit of backspin. But look how look how difficult that swing light. Oh man, this wind is changing on me all the time. We’re just going to hit this before this wind does even more changes in direction. Got the under swing. Get down. Oh, it’s a good shot. It’s a really good golf shot. Can we back it up with the putt though? There’s not much in this guys. I can’t hit anything other on a close contact on my P. But back to back birdies gets us to level par. That’ll bring it down to even hole number 12. This is going to be a huge par five. With that wind on our face, we have to hit the fairway here, guys. Stinger an option here. What do you think? This has got half a chance of being decent. Get down. Get down. Oh no, that firm kicks is going to take off the green. Right, our short game’s not been great. It’s not a nice chip this. It really isn’t. Don’t want to over hit this. Played it into the bank and stop stop. We’ll take that. Come on early. This to get under par for the first time in the ride, I believe. just drops in the side door. Three consecutive buries and Tiger has pulled this back. Marty Fitz minus 232 as well. Certainly a lot of movement on the leaderboards, right? What a hole this is by the way. Down 32 feet. So, it’s playing 193. Do you know what? 170. 170. We’re back spin. Look how small that swing line becomes, guys, on legend difficult. That wind is changing on me again. I’m still convinced this is a right club. No, I’ve closed that. And with the wind that is going to find the the left hand side bunker. If I’m not hitting perfect on this difficulty, this ball is just feeling so much offline. It’s insane. Right, we can be aggressive here. There’s no point being short. Let’s try and hold this one. Too cautious there. Unders swung that just a little bit too much. But we’ll take the par. Yeah, starting to get a little feel for it, Mike. Starting to get a little feel for the swing. I don’t want to ruin my swing though because going back to the the swing bias on is going to be difficult. Right, we’re going to fade this. There we go. Good drive. It’s going to kick hard left on me, right? 166 to the pin. That wind is really going to shift us from right to left. I think 170 is a nice club to be fair. The wind is hurting. Look how far left we’re having to go here. Wow. The wind better hit me here, guys. Otherwise, we’re in trouble. Oh, early you’ve closed it again, man. But I tell you what, that’s actually helping me because the wind obviously the wind would have taken us back there. I was aiming too far right. Another tough This is really really breaking and it’s really really quick. This is lightning. I just need to touch this. Tell you what, this has half a chance. Stay up. Stay up. Boom. Get in, baby. What a putt that is. It’s tiger time and we move to minus two. Co lead. call lead going by the live leaderboards. That is four straight birdies I do believe. Right, we need to be aggressive here. Or do I? Do I need to be aggressive, guys? I think I just need to hit a fairway. I’m going to hit the choked here and just hopefully use that rough as a bumper. That ball didn’t get airbound. Get out. That’s uh Yeah, be nice to have that one back. What did I hit there? That ball just didn’t get off the ground. Not a disaster though. But the only problem with Tiger is look at the gap. Right. I actually think the wind is going to assist us here. Going to try and overpower this one. 101 needs to go. Give me a nice kick. I would actually rather bunker in the rough. Right. He’s going to have to be cautious here. That is all downhill past the pen. This is going to be hard to stop. I can’t get over how small the swing meter is for the swing plane. Wow. Wow. This rough is just brutal, guys. So hard to judge those shots. I’m I’m playing this as it is. I think this has the potential to come back towards the hole, you know. What a read that is. What a read that is. Good scramble. Three-wood choke. Yeah, just didn’t seem to get off the ground there, Mike. And that was with a win behind me. I maybe thought I played a stinger. Right. Two under. Closing holes. Three holes remaining. This is a short par three with this wind. And it’s going to be so hard to hit. I’m going to hit 205 here. Going to allow that wind to bring us back. Grind off the right. Need to put a good swing in this one though. Right, we’ve got an all perfect. This should be a pure Lynx golf shot. That needs to go though. Oh man, just not judging the wind as well as I should. Right, we can be pretty aggressive here. This ball’s going to pop straight up air yet again. Look at this swing here. Right, I’ll take that. Wow, man. This is a lot more difficult than I expected it to be, but enjoyed it. We need to make another good putt here. Turn, turn, turn. Oh my god, we’ve looked it. Honestly guys, I am really finding it hard to hit straight swings at consistently. Second shot on the 17. This is now tough. We’ve got a brutal lia again. Let’s go full back spin here. I just don’t know how this is going to come out of the rough. should shoot left at my feet. I’m convinced the window. And look how tight my swing line is now. This is incredible. Nah, that just flew, man. Touch like an elephant there. It’s a birdie P. Breaking left to right. It turns. Oh yeah, I’m just going left. Left of the cup here. Come on, turn back. Please don’t say I’ve left it short. I think we had that. I really think I had that read there, you know. Just left it short. It’s so foreign this though. I can’t get over how strange it feels playing with a straight swing line again, guys. This game’s only been out what, four months, right? Let’s see if we can finish strong. Beautiful closing hole. There’s no need to be a hero here. We are going to hit the stinger. Keep this below the wind. Let it release out. I just love Look at that. Look how he’s holding that at the end of the swing as well. Love how that looks. That is a huge drive. Shout out to Mike for the remembering me that Tigers got the stinger. 172. Do you know what? I think this is a nice club. Just cannot be right at that pin. Anything right, it’s off the green. That wind is hurting. Can we just hit a straight swing though early? We can get down. Get down. Get down. That wind just didn’t hold me up at all. It’s just unlucky that though. Not the end of the world. I am going to opt to put this one. It’s going to break hard the first six feet. Should straighten out towards the end. Good so far.
