You know how hard it is. Some people say, “I want to go play baseball.” Right. Yeah. All right. Welcome back to the show, everyone, and good morning to you. Uh, hope you guys are having a good morning so far. Um, I wanted to check out this video from 93 Z. Uh, I’ll I’ll I’ll tell you the title first. First, it’s LeBron. LeBron and Kevin Durant disrespect Jordan’s commitment. And uh I I know exactly what this is about. I watch this damn podcast. And just like every single Mind the Game podcast, there’s something in here that’s just I can’t believe these fools, man. I just cannot believe these fools. Like LeBron James, that’s one thing. Kevin Durant, I’m I’m I’m disappointed in you, man. Steve Nash, beyond disappointment. Beyond disappointment. I don’t care how bad you want this job as far as like getting a new head coaching job. Enough is enough, bro. And I I know you can see the body language with him. He’s just like going going with the flow, you know, and just he’s not like contributing much, but he’s just like Uh-huh. Yeah. Yeah. totally. Uh-huh. He’s doing that whole game. But it’s still like I I I I can’t get behind this. I couldn’t do what he’s doing, you know? I I couldn’t. No way could I do it and just stomach all that. I don’t care what they’re paying. Anyways, you guys, um this is uh this is ridiculous. This is ridiculous. They’re they’re going to give Jordan crap about uh retiring and going to play baseball for a while. And they’re going to completely completely ignore the fact that his father got murdered and he was thinking about playing baseball anyways to to kind of honor his father, you know? like they’re going to just completely skip over that [ __ ] and just turn this into a joke. Anyways, you guys, this reaction is going to be uh from the 93 channel. I know a lot of you guys know of 93 and uh it’s about time I directly uh react to to one of his vids cuz I have reacted to a couple of groovy vids that are reacting to 93. Anyone having a bad day worried about COVID and stuff like here this will cheer you up. We got to get through the day. Every time I run into a fanboy in the wild I promise you it’s on site. I’ll be like, “Hey, who your favorite player?” Oh yeah. Hey, check it out. Check it out. Hey, if somebody ever tell you to check it out, hey, don’t go check it out. But what’s good y’all? It’s 93 Z and I was in a good mood today until I seen some [ __ ] Kevin Durant said and I said, “No, we got to blast him to the heavens. We got to send him to the shadow realm because ain’t no way you sneak dissing Michael Jordan again.” What’s up with y’all sneak dissing the GOAT and Kevin Durant? We all know how much you hate being the butter jokes. Why would you try to put Michael Jordan into a joke to help boost up Lefy James legacy? It’s so lame because Kobe Kobe was gunning after Jordan’s spot his whole career and he didn’t he didn’t get there and he didn’t talk any trash. You know what I mean? Like like he was being respectful the whole time and then when it was all said and done he remained respectful like that’s the greatest player right there. That’s the greatest of all time. these guys just because they can’t get to Jordan’s level, they have to criticize him. And that’s just that’s a small man. I don’t care. I don’t care if you’re 6’11, a major athlete, you’re rich. You’re small inside. But I’m going to keep it real with you though. Kevin Durant, I know why you doing this. But before we get into this, let’s go ahead and play the entire clip of what was said during this interaction on Lef James and Steve kissing ass. Mind the blame. Let’s get into it. cuz it after the game, you know what I’m saying? So, it’s a lot of stuff you got to ask yourself. You got to recommmit to to this game. Just like you sign a new contract, every time you get better as a player, I always I truly feel that you got to recommit and sign that contract with yourself every so often. Like, all right, yeah, I’m 10, 12 years in. I got four MVPs and four championships. Like, but do I still want to do this [ __ ] You know what I’m saying? At that point, I’m with him. I was with him until he had to throw a jab. You know how hard it is. Some people say, “I want to go play baseball.” And that’s where he lost me, right? Yeah. And then I want to come back. Well, some people say, “I’m going to go 22 straight.” And you know what I’m saying? So, it’s a contract I feel like you got to have with yourself too in order for you to be a, you know, great ball player to have a long career. That’s the goal to be in the league for 20 years. See, and that’s where he completely loses me. That’s the goal is to have a long career. It’s not about winning anymore. That stopped. I don’t know when this changed. I I have to I have to point my fingers at LeBron James cuz this was not a thing before where it’s about, oh, I lasted 20 years. No, it’s about what did you do while you were here? What did you win? What did you accomplish? I tell that’s the goal. however you want to get there, but you got to recommit to yourself before you commit to anything else. That’s interesting. I bet like KD, this is sad on so many levels because as a so-called or self-proclaimed student of the game, y you should already know that these circumstances on why Jordan retired is totally different than just recommitting yourself to the game. Yep. I mean, if we going to be for real, man, they put his dad on a t-shirt. How would you feel about the game of basketball when somebody put your pops on a t-shirt, man? I will look for you. Yeah, for sure. I will find you and I will kill you. You know, quick rant, man. Like this one. I don’t know for for those of you who’ve been following me for a while, you know, when it comes to the Jordan baseball, his father murdered being his best friend, you know, and them already talking about the baseball thing cuz Jordan needed a new challenge and ba basketball had become too easy for him. So, he wanted to try something new so he could be happy in his life and his father was supporting him in that. And then his father gets murdered in the off season and then Jordan decides, I’m going to honor my father. people freaking making fun of this. Like it it’s one thing to talk about stats. It’s one thing to say, “Oh, you choked.” You know, all this stuff. Oh, you lost in ‘ 86. You know, like all this basketball crap is fine. When you’re getting into something like this, this is sick, dude. This is this is this is his father being murdered. Like, that should never be the the butt of a joke. You know, there’s certain things that you just don’t joke about. All right. This is not basketball related. This is real life [ __ ] Kevin Durant, you might have dominated the game in terms of scoring, but Michael Jordan dominated the game in terms of winning. There have only been three teams in the NBA that have ever won three consecutive championships. The Celtics, the Minneapolis Lakers, and the Chicago Bulls. And the Bulls did it twice. So during Michael Jordan’s first retirement, he accomplished something that no team or player has done in the last almost 30 years. You’re goddamn right. Mhm. And they both had super teams with the with the whole intention of doing something like this and they couldn’t pull it off. You know how hard it is to commit yourself to the highest level in one sport and then pivot. I love this clip. They’re talking about Kobe. Young young Kobe just Grant Hill saying I don’t want to be on a poster, so I’m getting out of the way if he tries to dunk. Jordan laughing his ass off. Oh yeah, there it is. I forgot. Yeah, there’s there’s the I’m getting distracted. This is the basketball I love. Now, let’s get back to the basketball. I hate yourself to the highest level in another sport. You never heard the saying that the hardest thing to hit is a baseball. I don’t care how high you can jump, how far you can run, how fast you are. Can the [ __ ] hit a baseball? That [ __ ] ain’t hitting that baseball. We can give both you and Lefodi James a whole year to work out and prepare and I guarantee you going to go down to double A baseball and bat 200 and hit three dingers. I don’t think you have the facilities for that big man. Since we talking about commitment to the game, not only was Michael Jordan committed to the game, but he was committed to his teams. And that’s why you [ __ ] is homeless. Think about it now. These [ __ ] is homeless. These the homeless NBA players trying to talk about the GOAT. When y’all retire, who y’all going in the Hall of Fame with? I know, Lefo. You going with the Lakers? The Lakers is the longest tenure you done had in the NBA. Don’t tell me you gonna try to go into the Hall of Fame as a Laker. You’re not a Laker. Kevin Durant, where you going into the Hall of Fame at? You done got four, five jerseys. Don’t worry, I’ll wait. Yeah, we won’t be hanging this jersey here in Phoenix. I’ll tell you that much. Because jerseys mean something to us. We don’t respect players who hop from team to team to team. You know what I’m saying? We don’t respect [ __ ] who hop from couch to couch. Y’all know that homeboy that you got? Every time you see this [ __ ] he on a different couch. You like, “Nigga, you ain’t got a home yet.” Every time you see him, he in this girl car. You like, “Man, get that girl back a car, man.” Anyways, these guys talk about commitment to the game. How about love of the game, loving and and taking care of the game. Jordan’s whole thing when when he wasn’t feeling challenged after three championships was that he he never wanted to cheat the game. And if he kept just going through the motions, accepting a fat ass big old contract to play basketball when his heart’s not really in it anymore, at that point, you’re hurting the game. You’re not you’re not nurturing the game anymore. And we hear Jordan talk about it still to this day. That’s why I can’t wait for him to be on NBC. The love of the game is something that he’ll always have. He’ll always want to take care of the sport because the sport gave him everything that he has. You know, that’s commitment to the game in my mind. You know, I’m not going to take from you. I’m only going to give to you. And if we can give and receive at an equal balance, then this is harmony. And if it’s not, if I’m taking more than I’m giving, like like uh let’s be real, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, you know, like these guys, then they’re cheating the game. And I know Nash understands this cuz Nash didn’t cheat the game either. Once he was injured enough where he couldn’t give it 100% anymore, the guy retired. He called it a career. You know, that’s he’s part of the old school. Who stole your car? Tell me who stole your car. I don’t get it back for you right now. I stole my car, Jodie. Everybody has an option between legit money and fast money. Y’all took the fast money. Yep. And you got to deal with the consequences of taking the fast money route. And what they don’t tell you about fast money is that sometimes it’s hard to sleep at night. And I know that you’ve made decisions throughout your NBA career that makes it hard to sleep at night. And I told y’all we got to be honest, right? So in my community, there’s a term called get down or lay down. Essentially, what the Golden State Warriors did is whoop your ass and tell you to get down or lay down. They flew into your city. They got on the plane, hopped on the plane, went to your crib and told you to get down and you got down. Now imagine Michael Jordan getting his ass beat by the Pistons and then say, “You know what? Hey, I’m going to go join the Pistons. We going to go win seven straight.” Do you think the league will have the same amount of respect for Michael Jordan as they do today? 100% no. The second he would have gone to Detroit, we all would have turned our back on him. That’s how it was back then. That’s 80s and 90s mentality. He went to the enemy. He’s a traitor. That That’s a word that we don’t we don’t use very often anymore. At that point, you’re a traitor. Kevin Durant, sorry, buddy. I know there is some some circumstances going on, but you were a traitor. You could have gotten to any other team. You went there. You’re a complete traitor. Just like Jordan, if you would have went to the Pistons. Complete trader. Yep. Of course not. Because we would say, “Hey, he took the easy route. He took the fast money route. He claim he the best.” But he went to go join the best. Yeah. He didn’t earn it. Yeah. He joined the best. He can’t the the the the greatest of all time supposed to build, you know? He’s supposed to build a dynasty around him. He was the centerpiece. Not you go join another centerpiece. The thing is is Steph Curry’s greater than LeBron and and KD. They know it. They both know this. You went to go join a team with the best record in the NBA, but not only the NBA, but NBA history. Yeah, they were doing that without KD. So KD just jumped on that bandwagon. No, man. That’s Steph’s team. That’s Steph’s team 100%. You so weak minded, you don’t understand the game that was played on you. See, they knew that was a weak move. And what they did was keep antagonizing you about it being a weak move. And instead of you standing on it 10 toes down like a man and finishing your career in Golden State and seeing how much y’all could run it up, you decided to leave and went to Brooklyn. That backfired on you. Then you went to Phoenix and that was even worse cuz that backfired on you. So now you in Houston trying to take Houston to the next level. And I got high hopes for you. I feel like this is the most balanced team you’ve had since playing on the Warriors. So, we gonna see how you do this year with a balanced team to take the load off. Wait a minute. And don’t get me started on Lebuster James. This team Hopper, this traitor. Yep. Trader quit on his hometown team twice. Uh-huh. Ran off on the plug twice. Mr. Lefodi James, the pioneer, the engineer of player empowerment. He is the exact reason why the NBA is [ __ ] up today. Y and why y’all players think this is okay. I mean, to be fair, that’s where Kevin Durant learned this behavior, cuz this wasn’t a thing until then. In fact, KD made fun of LeBron for doing this in the beginning, but then he was like, “Oh, they’re winning. I guess I got to join.” You’re the reason why the CBA is what it is today. And you most importantly know your ass been long disqualified from the goat conversation. I don’t even know how you can even talk goat talk when you spent the equivalent of one full game in 3 minutes without scoring a bucket in the fourth quarters throughout games three, four, and five. I don’t want to hear it. How does the greatest scoreer of all time go scoreless in the fourth quarter? You [ __ ] bum. Yeah, it’s trash. And it’s trash. And this the part of the video where I need y’all because the No, the answer is he doesn’t. Aka, there’s no way in hell he’s the goat. Like, no. Goat doesn’t do these things. What happened? in 93 was terrible, terrible thing. You wouldn’t wish on anybody, you know, even even people I I I hate. I don’t want I don’t want to hear that, you know, their father got murdered and, you know, that’s disgusting. So, there’s no way in hell I’m joking about that or laughing about that. Like, no, man. No. Anyways, with that, I’m just going to head out cuz I got nothing positive to say. Uh KD, I guess good luck in Houston. Good writtens. Uh, you destroyed our team. Uh, we’ve gone through what, three coaches. I think we’re we’re heading on our fourth one. I can’t even count. That’s how bad it is. Our team is trash thanks to you. And, uh, good writtens.
