US President Donald Trump will visit Scotland next week, the White House has confirmed. The trip will see him return to both of his golf courses in the country between July 25 and 29.

Speculation had mounted about a potential presidential visit this month when Police Scotland confirmed it was in the early stages of planning for such an event. The confirmation came during a White House briefing in Washington DC on Thursday.
