What would you shoot if you had a DP tour winner playing from inside a 100 yards? Today we’re lucky. We’ve got one of them, Mr. Adrian Sadier. Matt, welcome to the channel. We’re here at the gorgeous Federal Links and we’re going to find out six holes. How low are we going? Six under. Six under. You’ve not seen me play, have you? Right. I think if we get round here, this is the toughest hole. We’ve got two par fives in this sixhole stretch. I’d be buzzing with two under. Let’s do it. You You I’ve seen you good with a wedge and a putter, so no pressure on me. I’ve just got to get it near the fairway and get it near the green or on them. And we’re doing it. This one here, par five to start. 53 yards. Wind’s off the left, isn’t it? Little little cuts ski. We’re all good. Right. Six under from you, two under from me. If you haven’t already, make sure you go and check Adrian out on his socials. We’ll put them all down here as well. Recent winner, weren’t you? Italian Open. Yeah. Two shot win. Two shot win. Yeah. 14 under. How does that feel when someone says a winner? It’s great. Yeah, it’s really great. Yeah. Right. Well, hopefully we can do you can do you justice here. You might get in the car after he sees this T-shot, but we’ll see. Right. 503 dog leg left to right. I’m going just down the left and let the uh the wind just take it. Come on. Pulled it slightly. Should be okay there. Yeah. Semi- rough Adrian. Good start. Yeah. Let’s do it. How we rating that out of 10? 11. 11. I like this guy. I like him. Right. Off we go. 203. Hadrianne, what you what would you Yeah. Yards. Is that 220 m? What would you be hitting here? Two, how much you say? Two 200 yard. So So it’s like 180 m. Yeah. Yeah, it should be a six. Yeah, I like that. Six down the left. Avoid the trap. At least with me, you got some normal clubs, not like with Marco. No. Yeah. Yeah. He is a uh a monster. Yeah, I’m going to go sixiron sort of middle like at that shadow on the green and try and hit a little cut. Yes, would be my general. Perfect. Yeah, would be my shape. Try and just leave you like 20 ft. Watch you do the business. Cover. Do you reckon there’s any spots at Renaissance? You don’t really need me here. You’ve got to put it though. You’ve got to get it in the hole. Right then. Onwards. Easy. Tad unfortunate. Didn’t didn’t quite stop its pitch just up here and chased a little through. What we thinking here, sir? Uh got some some rooms to carry the ball. thing I think the wind is is a little bit hint for me so I can carry it around here. Try to catch a slope and just Would you try and carry it more than run it? Generally just depends the shot anyway. Just I’m kind of feeling guys so it just just try to see and what’s could suit my eyes. Yeah. But with into the wind and I mean I think it looks like the wind looks soft. Oh yeah. Do you think I can carry like just 7 m short of the pin? Nice. I would not see that shot personally cuz I’ve not got the confidence to strike it. Get up there. Yeah, just to be ted. But yeah, nice though. I’d be scared of duffing that if I was playing. That would be I probably where that was I would have had me putter out. I could try cheap to chip like with the four irons sometimes. Yeah. Yeah. Four iron, five iron or even like a hybrid. Yeah. Do you get your caddy involved with reads much? No. Never. Right. Never because I always thinking like you have two vision. You you never have the same vision with a car about the speed. Yeah. So, and I you never got the same read anyway. Yeah, it’s always touchy. So, would confuse it a little bit? Yeah. I’ll leave you to it then. How good’s that call? How good is that roll, Adrian? I love that, pal. I love that. One under was easy, easy, easy. One under, six under is going to be a dodle, right onto the next par four. Come on. 366 yards, Adrian, if we uh just bomb it. Just bomb it. Like, Marco. Yeah, just swing it quick. What What would be your normal driver carry? Uh close to 300 yards. Yeah. Right. Okay. Just a normal normal carry. Normal. Yeah. Just a Yeah. Not a not a freak human carry like Marco. I know. I think if we get a good one away here though, we could be we’ll be inside that 100 yard marker. And then you just do what you did at the last up and down. Beauty. Keep cutting. Missed that trap. Ah, lucky bouncer. Yeah. strange, but that’s right. It’ll be okay. Good angle into the pin there. Opens it up with your um you know, when you’re wedge playing. Yeah. Do you have like um do you do distances? Do you do like three different things or how do you how do you figure out like a 50 60 70 do you have like a clock face or Not really. Mainly more like with intensity. Yeah, just think like for example like 60 50 and 60 m just the same same swing but just maybe just faster with the 60. So I I I I always struggle to like sometime you guys say 9:00 um 10:00 I always struggle to visualize this. Yeah. So you’re the pace of the swing. Yeah. I’m just Yeah. Just pacing the swing with the Trackman a lot. uh a lot of exercise with it and just try to get my pace. I always I uh always do like on Monday and Tuesday like some pacing with my garage and with trackman on the ranch every week on every tournament and every grass just to catch it. How different does it change from like venue to venue because and like because of undulation and grass and I think the grass change a lot because like uh the grass like from this week is just pretty low. So you have to give the attack angle is more up to get more spin. So you have to give a little more pace on the wedge. Yeah. compared to sometimes. But that’s why uh every Monday I just do like some carry number stuff on the with Trackman and stuff like this. Right. Interesting. Interesting there with pace versus swing length. I thought everyone would be swing length, but I guess this part of the game very feel. As long as you’re measuring it all the time, you’re going to get the answers you need. Right. Pin eye Adrianne. pretty good driver, you know, it’s what we do now. What you playing here? Just kind just normal chips. Nothing has to do. I mean, wind slightly helping. So, I don’t need to carry that far. The rough like will make the ball roll pretty easy. So, just try to be sure about my uh why I want to land it. Yeah. And just let it roll close to the hole. Oh, strike. Ah, sit too much. Sorry. It’s okay. Don’t say sorry. Just released on you that had of like a second weird mount. Chip in’s okay. Chip in for three. Still got hope. Still got hope here. We’re just keep keeping it interesting more than anything. Great shot. I think you can have that one. I know you don’t miss from there. Want me to finish or? No. No. If you what I mean. There we go. Easy as pie. Right. Four. We’re still one under, which is not normal for us. I have to do something better. Wasn’t my best. But as I told you, the grass was the grain was into me. The wind was pushing my bow. So that’s sometime why you have to be really careful in Scotland like this with kind of that lie in the wind because that the when you got the grain into take off every spin. So yeah. And he just Yeah, he did a little zero spin. But hey, it’s a four 180 into off the left. Uh middle’s 178 seven or eight iron 180 into off the left I think we go 180 is the maximum you can hit it just a little 78 I think doesn’t get there we want a tap in we want a tappers would you like account for the wind much here sorry would you account for the wind much that just mainly a sensitive thing I think. Yeah, it’s tough to predict how much uh it will take because like this you’re a bit cover with the tree on the beginning on the finish. So yeah, it’s not taking that much I would say. Okay, going to hit a little little seven iron 3/4 it. Whoa, it’s got it. Not that much. I told you. It was a good strike again. Yeah. Green looks firmer. Yeah, just just a little bit over the back. Shouldn’t be too too dastardedly from there. What you seeing here? Just kind of flop shut. Anyway, I’m just pretty low from the green, so I have to carry the ball pretty high. Oh, great shot. Thanks. How good was that? Is that 60? Yeah. Did you try like do too much like nothing crazy? opening it up or Yeah, just just open the face in loft and then just travel it. If only that was that simple. Get it. Oh no, that is cruel. Ah, sorry. Cruel. It’s okay. Should have hit the green from there to be fair. 180, but we’re okay. We’ve got another par five coming. We’ve got an easy par four that we can knock it close to. I think we need some birdie now. We’ll get a few. The way you’re chipping it and the way we’ve just had a little bit of luck against us. We’ll uh we’ll go for it. Treasure cove there. Right onto the next. We’re going to do this. We’re going to do it. So be beyond this where this juts out here. This course is actually open. Yeah. And then the only real trouble left is obviously the trees. But I might with this wind today, I might get near that gor down at the bottom, but it’d be trickling up. I mean, spa, you say? Yeah. Uh, par four, this is three 374 yards. It just depends depend how it’s open and how it’s clear on the ride after the bush. Yeah. I mean, if you feel confident about your driver and feel it’s pretty safe on the right, we can go for it or then just try to catch a good second whole yard second shot yardage when you can be like more confident about it. I mean, I kind of understand like player hit like an iron on the tea here or I can Well, both option are pretty good. So, we’ve got three three five hit the drive pretty good. So, I mean, you’re a good driver guy. So, yeah. I And the wind’s this way, so I only I can’t think I can’t miss it right here. We’ll hit driver. We’ll just knock it on. I’ve turned it. That should be okay. Yeah. Softly. Just before the train, yeah, that’s about as bad as I could have hit it. Should be fine. Wedge and a put. Easy. 64 yards flag. Would you have preferred like maybe a fuller shot in from there or I mean if you can’t be really close to the green, you always go to the get as close as you can. Yeah. Every time. Interesting. So be quiet. I would say if you go if you have like a safe pin, a safe green. Yeah. We’re just trying to get closer and then just depend of the pin or tricky green or the situation if you need like some power some birdies. I mean 64 yards you told me. What you seen here then? What would you just like a kind of punch short of the green? Yeah. Because I think with the rough I won’t I won’t not I won’t be close to the hole. So my best option is just like a punch short and let it run. Just try to release on the green. What club are you playing it with then? 60. 60. That was a class golf shot. That is class. Something like this. That was mega. How good was that? That was like the flight was like I’d struggle to get my 58 that flat. I mean with a rough Yeah. down slope it’s quite easy. I mean quite easy. There we go. That’s golf folks. So what what were you saying then in the boogie to me Adrian about common common mistake of the amateur? Yeah. They don’t hit it as close as you. Yeah. I think I think it’s common mistake that just want to create the shot by the swing and not the setup. You can’t hit a flop shot with like a square face. Yeah. You have to open it and then just the body react to this. If you want a low one, you have to set up the ball on the right, close the left and then you just the the body just can’t make it high. You see? The body just react how you set up. So you have to set up for the shot and then just the body do do the rest. Yeah. Instead of st standing to it like you normally would and then go, I want to try and make it go low or do everything from one setup isn’t going to work. Well, that one certainly worked. We’ve got three and a half ft here. No, never in doubt. Never in doubt, pal. Back in business. There we go. Couple more now. Par five coming up. We’ll get a three. Easy. Then we’ll hole out on the next. We’ll get to that six. Right. 467 yards. We’ve got two holes, Adrian, remaining. We’re currently at one. I was saying two. I’ll be buzzing with What? What’s your new Are you still sticking with six? We can’t be with six unless we have two. It will be tough. Do you reckon we get to three? Yeah, probably. Yeah, I like that. This one’s a beautiful hole. Framed very nicely with pines down by the trees, some dunes on the drive, bunkers that aren’t really in play for us today. I think we just aim down the middle, trust the swing, and get it in a point where we can go for two. Give Adrian a put a turn over just left of the bank. I think it’s missed it. I was expecting the wind to just that slightly, but it’s okay. Simply, we’ll take it. I can slice one on from there. We’ve got 208. It’s just What do you think? 20. I mean, I think I can get six eye near the front there. Is that over ambitious? Uh I go at the left trap of the of the green. The back trap is on the green, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So it’s not kind of an easy one because the pin is far on the right. Yeah. So I would say the front’s 197. I would say just an iron to carry the first bunker. Yeah. How is it for the first first one from here? Looks like one 140. Not even Yeah. 142 yards. Yeah. So you just need to carry it and I mean 142 in the things are cheap is easier than the bunker. So yeah. So if I hit So the next one it’s to that one’s like um 200 200. So if I hit seven iron which is my 185 club. Yeah. That gets us in between both bunkers. Yeah. That’s perfect. Get a flyer. it gets on. Just need to be sure to not close the face with a rough and yeah, keep it open and trust it. Okay. Oh, that’s come out left on me. I hit a little push. It stayed. I didn’t see it. It was that It looked like the last tree it was hitting. The one on the fairway. The last tree. Yeah. He’ll be okay. 65 yards. I mean, here, if I was hitting this shot now, we’re off like a a little bit of like sand essentially. It’s like a bunker shot. The pin is on a shelf. That’s impossible. I’d be scared of fattening it into the other thing, but let’s see what a pro can do. What uh what club could be going with? I got the 50. So honestly in like tournament play I will back center of the green. Yeah. But we need some birdie. So let’s try to be magic. Oh my god. Oh no. Oh my. That is cruel. That was I think about half an inch away from being so close. One of the best shots I’ve seen this year. Right. A chip in it is it’s my fault for uh not hitting the fairway and pushing us out there, but let’s see. Chip in. So, where we’re at now, I think if I was playing maybe up and down the first would have been like a a good birdie. Second, we would have made the same score. Third, I would have bogeied there. I would have say I wouldn’t have up and down that. Fourth, I wouldn’t have up and down that. So a two two better and then here. Go on then. Go on then. Go on then. Push it. You pushed it. To be fair. Yeah, my pushes go that far wide. Good save. Yeah, good five. Good five in the end. It was all down to that second shot from me. I should have uh should have not hit it in the trees. I think was traculi I mean yeah should have just like probably better been shorter wouldn’t it? Like typical amateur mistake trying to bite off too much and get skip scuppered with it. We live and learn. We live and learn, sir. Always. Onto the next. One hole to go. We’re one under hole in one can be done. We’ve had three this year on the channel. Well, our our final hole here, 409 yards. A dog leg right to left is a previous slicer. Not my uh desired cup of tea, but I’m driving it generally. I’m hitting everything a little bit left, so it’s actually okay. I’m going to knock it down. When is this from the right, so it will be easy to move the ball to the left. There we go. Confidence. That’s what we like. Confidence. Right down there. Let it turn. You wedge it on. Tap it in. Two under. You see? Easy. You can come again. Get left. Yeah. Good. It’ll do. Little bit out the bottom, but it’s there. Nice bar flight, too. Yeah. 124. 124. What What would you do here? Like normally that’s that’s my 50. Where’s the wind slightly into? So it’s like right on the limits of a 50. Well, you just have to be careful with the mid branch here. Yeah. So I would probably take one more club. Just try to crib it down and try to just a soft fade, a low fade. Right. Okay. just to finish like even if you finish like five to six mters on the left, it’s still a good shot with that tree. Yeah. So, grip it down. Set up for a little little fade. Yeah. I mean, the wind just cross so it’s not into. So, yeah. Okay. Yeah. Lovely. Had lucky. Little pushy, but we’ve got a pot for birdie. It’s on the green. Exactly. It’s 14 in. It’s all we need to give this man. Winner roller of the rock champion. Now, do you know when you had your put to win the Italian Open? It was shorter than this one. Was it feel feeling pressure? This is This could be even more of a pressure situation. This is to prove me right, which we never get on the channel. I hope he holds it. Got I’ve got a feeling something good’s going to happen here. Come on. Come on. Come on. That was so close. That was a great roll. That good try. Yeah, just burnt the edge. The good news is with a DP tour winner, I can shoot under par. Adrianne, good job. Thank you, my man. Play well this week. Check him out on his socials. Go and see how he gets on at Renaissance. And best of luck for the rest of the year, I think. Any more targets for yourself? Another win or another win to get like one above Marco? Yeah, that’s good. That’s all we want. Keep keep him keep him a peg down. Guys, thanks for watching. Check out another video here where we play the oldest golf club in the world.

Love the copper color of Adrien's Lab putter. Stunning. And congratulations to our buddy Marco Penge for almost winning the Scottish Open! 🏌♀
Fryer said 200 yards is 220 metres 😂 comedy gold
This content is great and fully supports your decision to go with Mizuno. Who make amazing clubs. The access to Adrian and Marco is first class. Interesting that neither player has a mizuno putter in the bag. Not to say they make bad putters but the ability to be free to pick the most important club in the bag is obviously important.
Flip it the other way around, too. Let him drive and you do 100 and in. See the difference.
Content suitable for an intermediate school class.
Unbelievable. Just carry the bunker, 142 yards. Ok.ill hit my 185 club.🤦 Make sure you keep the face open. Hooks it dead left would you take lessons from Matt?
