Big crowd filing in Sunday afternoon at American Family field in Milwaukee roof is open. It is a picture perfect Sunday here for the Nats and the Brewers final game of the series , final game of the first half as the Brewers send their all star and their ace to the mound here. Reino with 10 wins on the year. Freddie Peralta. Freddy Peralta gets to work against alex call the River Falls Wisconsin native. Did he go? He did. And it’s a strikeout to start the day for freddie Peralta, Josh Bell in the number three spot in the DH and down. He goes, Bell, watches it go by a couple of Ks for Freddy Peralta in the opening inning. Here’s Jake Urin fifth career start against the Brewers on away. Here is William Contreras who is the designated hitter today. Contreras drives one in the gap that’s going to get a base hit doing what the designated hitter is supposed to do. Contreras with a single with one away. Milwaukee Brewers run better than anybody in the league in terms of total steals 109 man aboard for christian riding a 23 game on base streak runner going pitch is strike three and the pro it’s a strike him out, throw him out double play. Riley Adams second of this series, his ninth of the year, a one down that will bring up Luis Garc-a Junior first pitch swinging garcia literally booted by Tang is going to make the turn. Keep on moving. Why not? He’s in there? If he stays on, probably going to be ruled an error. And if it is, it’ll be Milwaukee’s first during their last seven games. It should be an error. That guy is a platinum glove winner last year Bryce Terra just off the backhand. Great hustle by Lou create that by using his eyes. Give it up. There’s Daylan Lyle home run Friday night. That ball is hit well deep to right. Frelick is there to make the catch a leaping snare by Sal Frelick. The gold glover takes one away from Daylan Lile probably wouldn’t have gone out, certainly would have gone for extras and delivered a run but not with Sal Frelick in right field and powers draws a two out walk and here comes Monasterio bounce the third. Tough eats House. House recovers the throw not in time. That had some top spin on it. House did all he could to keep it in front. That will be an E five on House had not made an error on this road trip until House a moment ago. 1st and 2nd for eric Little tapper going to be a tough play. Irvin Mishandles. It is aboard the benefits of putting the ball in play and eric reaches to load the bases with two outs, but really the nationals have had two chances to get the third out. They have not cashed in on either one. So now the number nine hitter, the ambidextrous Anthony Siegler and he field of base hit. How about that is in Monasterio scores behind him and Anthony Siegler has given the Brewers a two to nothing lead. Save that ball right there as an gets his first two big league. That is some story and to do that off the bench gets a chance to start and delivers right away and back to the top of the order for Sal Frelick free in the hole base hit another run is in single on his way to third and it’s 3 to 0 Brewers as Sal Free gets into the act, they don’t hit it out of the ballpark a whole lot, but they can wear you out, putting the ball in play, the Nationals, unable to put out the fire here. It’s the Brewers three and the Nationals nothing. And it will get down to number nine hitter, Jacob Young. Now flyball shallow right gold glover free coming on and makes the catch. How about that play? Sliding on the warning track looking like Jannik center at Roland Garros over there. Look at the skid mark. He looks a little shaken up by me. Concerned. Look here, Sal Frelick, one of the toughest guys around, but something’s bugging him here, but he’s going to have to be taken out of this game. Isaac Collins looks like he’ll take over just 48 pitches so far for freddie Peralta through three and two thirds. And here’s Paul the young 12 pitch and he got him. Freddy Peralta gave him the hook and Monasterio leads off the bottom of the fourth inning swing and a miss strikes him out on a high fastball and now it’s eric. There you go. Another 10 pitch battle one by jake two consecutive Ks and five today. Eight straight batters retired by Freddy Peralta to this point since the second inning and one base runner and it was garcia reached on an hit hard to left center Chio back, Chio is there to make the play and a couple of long loud outs in this game, garcia has retired first out of the fifth and now Brady House and Peralta strikes him out, wiped him out on a curveball. Strikeout number five for freddie Peralta. Two up and two down for Daylan hit off the end of the bat to third. Siegler picks it off and throws to first. It’s a 123 inning for Freddy five, no hit innings, five strikeouts. Adams went down swinging his first time up. Freddie Peralta ready sets fires. There’s a swing and a miss up the ladder with a fastball and Adams chased and it is strikeout number six for Peralta and 12 straight retired brings up Jacob Young ground ball left side in a base hit first hit of the game for the Washington Nationals and it comes in the sixth inning and I single through the left side and nice ovation from the crowd as they realize that that’s the first hit for Washington. Take it from there. Top of the order, alex and a called strike three ring. The bell on the inside corner. Oh, yeah, she loves it. She’s focused. You can tell she’s a baseball fan. Lowe draws the walk so far. He’s handled josh Bell on the ground right side. Bowers has it. He’ll take it to the bag and freddie Peralta is through six scoreless innings. Freddie Peralta back out for the seventh inning facing Paul De Young had him out in front. The young pops it up. Peralta’s calling and Siegler says, get out of here, man. Pitchers aren’t a good job by Anthony Siegler to get freddie Peralta off that pop up right there. Here’s Luis Garc-a Junior pwe hit left heel line moving away and missing it is Jelic and that’s a fair ball and it bounces out of play and maybe the sun came into play a bit over the top of that roof. It looked like he got there and should have put that ball away. Peralta with a runner at second. Now, chopper right side. Tang had to wait for it, knew he had time and now garcia to third but two outs, here’s Daylan Lyle , 32 pitch soft liner to right field. Collins can’t get there a base hit and a run is going to score RB. I single for Daylan Lyle just caught it off the end of the bat and that’s going to be it for Peralta but a brilliant first half and an all star campaign. Second time all star Freddy Peralta, he’s going to get a big hand on his way out. Grant Anderson takes over on the mound for the Brewers his 42nd appearance of the year. So now Lyle finds himself in scoring position. Ground ball tang. Is there nice hands that ball scalded off the bat of Adams Bryce Turang makes the play. Freddie Peralta’s line is official six and two thirds with one run. Jackson Rutledge, first appearance of the series Contreras today, 143 bouncing ball through for Contreras put him in the DH roll and he delivers with two hits. He used some insurance right here. Here’s Jelic now the pitch swinging a chopping ground ball past the mound and this is going to be a well, wait a minute shovel by Brady House to the Young at the bag at second. Just not in time. So Jackson Cheerios, the batter two on with nobody out sends that one deep right center. He has opposite field take from Jackson Cheerio three run home run. 6 to 1. Brewers still nobody out and Terran goes out to right center. This one’s got a shot and is gone. Brewers first chio now to sixth of the year for Bryce and it’s 71. Milwaukee. The Brewers go back to back Brewers get five in the bottom of the eighth inning. They swell their lead 8 to 1 and it’s Easton mcgee who gets the call on the mound to try to take them to the all star break one out to go. Got it. The Brewers have won seven consecutive games. It’s a 6 to 0 home stand, great home stand, great win 8 to 1 the final.

another sweep, awesome.
Saw one of the last games at County Stadium. Apparently built from scrapped trawlers, mud, and spit. Ugliest stadium ever, but it had a lot of history.
Peralta is just something else man, he's on the way to 20+ wins this season.. 🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🦁🦁🦁👑👑👑

Brewers is on the roll 🔥
The Past is prolog ! The right now is this Brewers team who sure looks like the best team in Baseball . Detroit is looking fancy over there in the AL. Sure looks a lot like the Brewers are that team in the NL. I do not see room for adding anyone of mixing up things as they are. This roster is SPECIAL ! DO NOT TRY TO CHANGE A DAMN THING!
There should be no DH in the National League.. What a stupid rule that is. Wow
