Is this the end of B team? Craig Jones, the grappling sensation, the comedy sensation, the marketing manager here of the CJI 2, which is coming up in the not too distant future, says that the team that he runs, the B team that is, is coming to an end. The collection of some of the greatest grapplers in the world, who recently split off from the Dana Heres squad not too many years ago is ending. What does this mean? Let’s get into it right now. Craig Jones of course says that the end of the B team is coming in his the leadup to the promotion of the CJI 2. Let’s take a listen see what he’s got to say here. All right guys, this is our farewell tour to America. CJ is in 52 days. It is going to be my last ever professional match. B team as we know it will also cease to exist. B team is going to be taken over and rebranded. It’s going to be ran by Nikki Ryan, head coach. Nikki Road will be there. Ethan will be there. Damian will be there. Me, I’m out of here. I’ve got one competition match left. B team’s done. And I will be leaving America. So, we’re doing a bit of a road trip tour around the country. I could run around doing seminars, but instead we’re taking this beast as long as it lasts. We’re heading down the entire East Coast. Any of the cities we visit, we’re just popping in for open mats. That’ll be my training camp for the Gables decent match. Then we’re going to ship that car to Seattle. We’re going to drive it down the West Coast. We’re going to finish up in Vegas August 3031. Buy your tickets. If you guys want to say goodbye to me, find me on tour or come to the event. But I’m going to try to hit as many cities as possible to say goodbye to you before I say goodbye to America and the sport of jiu-jitsu. After August 31, I don’t know what I’m doing, but you will not see me again. [Music] Okay, so there you have it. Craig Jones saying that the B team is coming to an end. He’s leaving the sport of jiu-jitsu. This his last time competing against Gable Stevenson. Fascinating stuff here. But is this really the end? Is this just a marketing scheme to get people interested in the CGI 2? Make sure that people go and watch Craig Jones compete. Of course, the guy’s hilarious and does a great job marketing his matches in general. So, why is he leaving so soon? Has the writing been on the wall the entire time? That’s what we’ve been wondering. Because Gordon Ryan, the famed acclaimed man himself, Gordon Ryan, has come out, said some things. He says that this has been some writing on the wall the entire time. We’ve been waiting for this to happen for many, many years. Or so he says, taking Instagram as he usually does, throwing his opinions out there in a very nasty fashion, we should say, for lack of a better term. Good news, everyone. In less than five short years, everyone who left the greatest combat team that has ever existed to form their own team has now also left that team. And almost all who left have asked to rejoin Kingsway, which is, of course, the new wave rebranding into Kings Wave. Gordon Ryan’s offshoot of the new wave. Even people who didn’t have the didn’t leave have asked to rejoin. I guess they aren’t happy with their leadership romanticizing about Cocaine and losing constantly. Or maybe it’s the fact that seeing Bigfoot on camera is a more likely catch than seeing their leader of the gym actually hit the gym. Or maybe it’s the fact the new leader of the gym is traveling across the world partying while the real members run the gym. Or maybe it was their leader throwing both the Rody boys under the bus for his own publicly perceived morality. Who knows? Of course, Nikki Rod and then G-rod as well. All I know is that by their own admission, they give zero [ __ ] about building any new talent, which is surprising. And they haven’t built a single decent athlete outside the guys who were our students in almost 5 years. It’s okay. They don’t give a [ __ ] about anyone who isn’t good. That’s okay. I know a sick spot in Austin, Texas. That’s opening soon. and we will have world champions, not blue belts, teaching our pro classes and teaching to all levels and aspirations. Nothing better than cutting out the poison and then having over 50% of the initial people jumping ship. I guess it’s time for a rebrand, boys. You can call yourselves team bankrupt starting the first week of August. Of course, it will actually be the first week of September there, Gordon Ryan. But we get the meaning. We get it here. All right, take a listen to this. Without white belts, but luckily for us, uh, we don’t need them. We don’t need them and we don’t want to train them. Listen, fair enough. If you don’t want to train the white belts and you want to just focus on honing the skills that you have, I get it. But like Gordon Ryan said, what are they really developing beyond the couple of guys that were on the Dana her death squad? It’s nice. We’re not here uh to to build anybody from like, you know, being nothing to being s. We’re here to respect what you already know. There’s Nikki Rod saying it for you. And then of course, Gordon Ryan takes to Instagram stories to air out a little bit more information for us. Everything Craig knows could irrevocably damage his brand and is happening for his him in real life. He hides in plain sight behind humor, so you don’t think he’s serious. At least he’s still taking the lion share while everyone else actually runs the gym. I’m sure the guys are absolutely loving that. He continues on here. Dirtbag says he’s leaving the team right after he just went awall and threw both the Rody boys under the bus so he could appear morally superior to Reddit dorks. He’s never there. Doesn’t help run the school in any capacity and has zero home base or stability in his life. Brags about traveling around and getting high to bang lady boys. News flash, he’s not leaving Z Team. Zeam is leaving him. Why else would they rebrand? You know who thinks a brand built on cocaine [ __ ] and losing is a rockolid brand? People with IQ’s below 90. It’s not rocket science. The guy acts like you see online. That’s it is one act, right? Uh this split could be seen coming from years away as he was around acting less and less. Let’s see how messy it gets publicly when the DDS split. Dan Death Squad, uh we had an agreement to not air private drama in public. For a full year, they broke this agreement repeatedly until I finally responded. This is Gordon Ryan again. The only one who kept his word is Nikki Ryan. Of course, the brother of Gordon Ryan. Both sides of have a history of making splits messy. This will be interesting. By the way, am I ever wrong? Of course, that’s Gordon Ryan himself speaking out about this. I mean, what in the world is going on here? The end of the B team. Is this a marketing ploy? Is this legit? Is this the end of Craig Jones? Is he done? Is he becoming a mess of a man? I don’t know. Which side of this do you fall on? Are you on the Craig Jones team? Are you on the Gordon Ryan team? Or do you fall somewhere in the middle? you’re kind of a neutral party and you just like to see the best grappling matches ever to happen in the history of the sport. That will be at the CJI too. Looking forward to that one at the end of August. But until then, we’re left to wonder what in the world is going to happen to the B team. And Craig Jones, one of the most prolific grapplers in the sport, has become quite the promoter. And this may just be the end. Again, let me know what you guys think about this in the comments down below. and I’ll see you next time.
