Hired To Take Out Monster Invasive Iguanas At Public Golf Course

look at him bowing up oh he’s about to get it son [Music] i hope you ate your wheaties this morning otto [Music] rolled them [Music] all right y’all today i’m heading out and i’m hitting a city managed golf course they’ve called me out i’ve done some work for them in the past and uh they’re closing down for the day so they’re bringing an old trapper mic to hit the iguanas hit the egyptian geese and clear some of these damn invasives out [Music] [Applause] hey auto heal these invasives are causing all sorts of problem on the golf course they’re pooping everywhere digging burrows driving out our native wildlife getting territorial and even getting aggressive with some of the golf goers so we’re going to come in here hit them hard and take them out yeah might happen [Music] so landing these city contracts to come in here on their parks and remove their iguanas and their other invasive species is something i’ve been working at for a while now with all the awareness we’re spreading on social media all the good work we’re doing in the community showing everyone that this is what needs to be done and it can be done in a responsible manner we’re finally starting to get on their radar and we’re finally starting to get approval to come in here and do our job you know they’ve always been a little reluctant because of a public outcry from it and the image we’re putting off but they see it’s a necessary thing and they see we’re going about it the right way it’s gonna really help out the state as a whole you know a lot of these parks and um little areas that people aren’t allowed to hunt them in have been breeding grounds for these invasive species and they’ve been spilling out into everywhere else and it kind of just makes it a problem that you know just keeps on coming so hit them at the source of the problem and we’re going to get some good results all right off to a good start going gonna get these guys on eyes and uh get back out there holy what a squad look at him bowing up oh he’s about to get it son i hope you ate your wheaties this morning otto this is the biggest damn iguana i’ve seen in a while and he is just absolutely beautiful i don’t want to mess this one up these big iguanas they’re smart they’re super tough and i gotta nail this thing in the brain just perfect [Music] roll them that’ll do it looky here we got another one time to take him out too [Music] so this was actually one of my first hunts with the new ed gun the semi-automatic 30 cal and uh dude it was a game changer tacticam got it all set up with the camera on it and uh we’re in business boys ain’t even gonna fit in the cooler he’s still trying oh my god relax buddy so i’m always real excited when they call me back here because this place is like jurassic park i’ve only hit it once or twice and every time i do i get a stack of them i can come in here and get 40 50 of them and a lot of them are going to be huge so um you know it’s definitely a place i’m slowly chipping away at just because the problem is so bad in here i always like coming in here and you know doing what i can because there is a lot of target sign big ones are always paired up all right ott we’re gonna take them out today must be me and otto’s lucky day we got another absolute monster up in a tree we’re gonna sneak in and take them out [Music] [Music] oh he’s barely hanging on son zoom in on him i gotta get another one in him [Music] come on [Applause] dude what a beast i love getting these big guys out of here these are the big breeders that are just producing an iguana army and um once you get these guys out you know it really helps the surrounding ecosystem these are the ones that are aggressive and territorial and on top of that they’re absolutely gorgeous i can make some awesome leather products out of these guys they have a big old belly full of skin and hell some of these guys i can make a whole damn purse out good boy ah heel auto hey auto heal good boy give it auto give it good boy lord that was a doozy all right let’s do it otto we got more work to do y’all it’s truly jurassic park out here we got another damn stud looking like godzilla we’re gonna move in put a pelt in his head and uh let out do the rest [Music] i haven’t heard a splash yet i’m going to get auto get him on get him [Music] [Music] yet [Music] hopefully he’ll drop there he goes two send him in auto heal auto heal hey heal heal auto auto so this is actually back in otto’s early days and um you know he’s just getting the hang of everything figuring it all out i’m not too sure how he’s gonna do but man did he blow me away this day um you know he busted ass showed no fear all grit no quit going in for the big monsters and um just hitting it hard all day with no brakes taking the sun taking the heat and you know just just really being a good working dog [Music] oh lot loves him some iguana kisses that’s why you never let otto come up and give you a kiss cause he’s got blood and poop all in that beard son relax bubba oh my god [Music] oh yeah they’re fixing to get it we got bogeys [Music] good boy eel boy deal well it ain’t a florida day if you don’t get a little bit of rain rain or shine we’re gonna take these damn geese out that is some cold rain i’m loving it [Music] good boy [Music] otto here [Music] get them off catch them up good ball right here [Music] good boy here [Music] never fails oh karen strikes again every time i get to rocking and having a good time that karen’s got to call the cops and mess it all up well what’s up karen called the cops heading up the clubhouse to meet the officer talk with them and uh just let them know everything’s up to par out here see how it goes luckily the cop was real cool and uh totally understanding and told me to keep smoking [Music] well karen knocked us off of our game made us get off the golf course go and talk to the cop it’s already at the end of the day it’s a good point to call it a day it’s blazing hot i gotta get back to the ranch i got a ton of iguanas and geese i gotta process skin out salt the skins feed everything to my livestock i’m gonna be working today at midnight so really hope you all Today, I was hired by a public golf course to take out as many iguanas as I can. Today, I was able to get 3 monster iguanas out of here along with some Egyptian geese.
