The PGA TOUR heads to Kentucky this week for the ISCO Championship. The tournament will be contested at a new home for 2025, as the Hurstbourne Country Club in Louisville, Kentucky. This marks the fourth year in a row that the event allows access to 50 DP World Tour members . Newly minted pro Gordon Sargent is set to tee it up at the ISCO Championship after finding the weekend in two straight TOUR starts. Sargent, who earned his TOUR card via PGA TOUR University Accelerated, is averaging over 329 yards per pop off the tee so far in his young career – which would rank him No. 1 on TOUR. Emiliano Grillo is back in action at the ISCO Championship after a runner-up finish at the John Deere Classic for his first top-10 finish on TOUR since last March. Joining these two is a hoard of young talent, including: Rico Hoey, Michael Thorbjornsen, Kevin Roy, Angel Ayora and the game’s top-ranked male amateur golfer, Jackson Koivun, from the University of Auburn.

24y old from California has the putter working today. On the 11th, Mao curling it in to take the lead at eight under par, seven under on the round. Couple holes later on the 13th, Mao could have a lifechanging Sunday. That to get him to nine, eight under on the day. This a sixiron. He watched his uh two fellow competitors hit sixirons a little bit short. Oh, that’s not going to be short. That’s on a really good looking line just right of it. Wow. He is dialed right now. Trip. Yeah, really good one here. I think this puck goes a little right most of the way and it might come back left at the end. Oh, that looks really good. M fist pumping it in to get him to 10 under par. Well, you read that perfectly, too. That did skew just a little left at the end. Go ahead and tap it in. Ties the low round of the week. One of the best final rounds you’ll see on the PGA Tour. The 24y old with a 9 under 61 to post 10 under par. Will it be enough to get his first ever win on the PGA Tour? Zip up to the 15th. Second shot on the way for Jackson Kovven. 111 in. A wedge flies it past the pin. Ends up in a good spot. Quan’s birdie roll burries it. This is an impressive story here. I mean, no matter what happens here today how this all finishes, but I mean, opens. One last look and it’s on the way on a great line and Luke Liss making it happen. All right. Is this going to happen now? He gets within four. Like to cozy this up there to tap in range. And maybe a little bit of a mis hit there. That’s disappointing. Pretty straightforward pitch shot. Back to the tenth. Peterson for birdie to get within three. Ventur did miss his birdie putt. Curls that one in. Oh, that was a big putt. I mean, you got to feel like he would have just middle of the fairway on 15. This pin just kind of tucked in that left side there. That’s a really nice shot. Pin high. It’s a good to jump up to seven under par. Alva loving that one. He’d have to birdie out to tie Ma at 10. could not it up with Peterson at seven. Whley’s got a chance. Couple under on this back nine. Steam on him list on the 12th. Yeah, that was a gap wedge there for Luke. small target here at the 12th. Trying to use some of that back slope. That’s all right. Heck of a putt by List. Nice bounce back with the birdie on 12. Alvara [Applause] that from 124 after just a beautiful T- shot. This just left of the hole. Really good looking shot. A that putt is worth something there. This will get a share of second money. A great tournament there. I mean that’s got to feel awesome. may know a little up the green from the right hand side at 14 and he’s hold one. He’s got one to the hole. Taylor Montgomery among the pack at three under par. Rattles in. Quietly had a really nice week there too. Four solid rounds of golf on this tough course. Gave it enough speed and Peterson clutch on the 16th. He’s at nine under one back. Unbelievable. The couple go and the putt on 15 as well looks so good. His pace Perfect speed left side all the way. Yeah, another great putt. Just falls barely short. A career launched in Louisville. William Mau wins the Isco Championship. Wife Hannah on hand to celebrate. A truly incredible final round. Nine under 61 coming from seven back to win by one. Yeah. Uh PGA Tour champion William Mau. How’s that sound? Pretty darn good. Yeah. I’ve worked I’ve worked very hard for this and for this moment to happen. I’m over the moon. Very happy. All right. Now, we’ve got a lot of changes coming up in your life. Your wife Hannah and you expecting a little girl in September. So, how does this change that outlook? You’re going to make me cry. Ah, man. I’m just I’m blessed. I got a I got Take your time. Take your time. Yeah. I got a baby girl on the way. She’s doing September. So, this one’s for her. It’s special. I’m blessed. Yeah, you are indeed. Now, uh we got to talk about a couple of things. What’s the call to your dad gonna be like, your only teacher that you’ve ever had? It’s it’s special. I mean, we’ve we’ve been there for each other our whole lives and and he’s been my biggest supporter and um yeah, that’s that was for you, Dad. That was cool. All right. Your caddy Steve told me uh a turning point today was at the ninth hole. You were buried in the left bunker. Uh y’all got a gust of win, I guess, and ball came up short. talk us through that up and in and how important that was to getting you here to this point. Yeah, we we got a gust and I was think I was 500 at the time and we got up there and we haven’t had any plug balls all all week and that one was buried and um you know this this season I fought through a lot of adversity and and I use that as fuel and and to get up there and see that lie and it just gave me motivation that um I could you know I if I when I get this up and down instead of poor me it was it was all right let’s get this up and down and and make this a great par versus why did it plug? So using that energy and and motivation all week and talk about this venue in particular, new venue, but new for you as well being a rookie, but the players all seem to love it and what talk about how tough this venue was all week. Yeah, I don’t think a lot of us us players were expecting quite this, but Herds Country Club, they did a such a good job on maxing their course out and firming it up and and and growing the rough out and and um you got to play this course correctly and and and double digits to win here is is is is very very good. And um they just did a great job with the course. So, props to them. And finally, what does this do? You know, as a rookie, you’re trying to keep your job. You’ve got a job now for a couple of years. talk us through how this changes your goals and your outlook going forward. Yeah, this is this is nice. You know, I I I just it just I’m I’m very very grateful and um all glory all glory to God. Um he’s had my back. So, congratulations again. First time winner William Mau George. Fourth?
From that 13 as his last video on the channel to a win! What an awesome story for Mouw. His attitude when he was asked about that disaster made me a fan because he stayed positive and laughed it off, I'm glad to see him secure his card.
Inspirational. Brilliant up and down on 9 after a bad break, and a tremendous back nine. Seems like such a grounded young man and wish him future success.
A good one from 13.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
Well done William, what a final round. Congratulations, keep up the good work on the putting.
