[Music] This will be, I believe, the third or fourth time I’ve had a set of Titleless T100 irons uh since the beginning, since when they came out. This category of their irons, having played it quite a bit and used it quite a bit in the shop. You know, it’s not a category of irons that a lot of people are going to get fit for objectively. If you aren’t someone with, you know, quite a lot of shaft lean or low dynamic loft, accurate ball striking in terms of strike location, this is likely an iron that we might aspire to play but might not make the most sense. I think they’ve been trying over the years to make them a little bit more forgiving than, let’s say, the original set. It’s best to always be realistic. This category of irons, there’s only so much they can do with the head size. They have put a couple more features in here that should help a little bit on your ball striking, a little bit more tungsten, a little bit more of the perimeter weighting. The face has sort of variable thickness. I mean, they look a lot like the previous generation. You know, subtly different. They feel, as far as I can tell, about the same. But a shot like that, you know, there’s only so much an iron like this can do. I left the face a bit open. I towed it a bit. you know, I lost a good 10 yards, and that’s kind of what you would expect. They are a little bit stronger at stock loft than they used to be. So, it was based off 34 degrees. Now, it’s based off 33. I mean, how much does that matter when they’re obviously very adjustable? The fitting system itself is actually much improved. So, people coming in for a fit that are not going full aftermarket, which is most people. They actually have a titleless iron head now that’s more adjustable for loft and lie. So, when I’ve got someone in here, often the stronger lofted set bent weak is the most rational choice. Let’s say from a a loft and forgiveness perspective. And that one struck pretty well. It’s pretty much what I would expect. Pretty comfortable yardage. Now, for this to make more sense for me, you know, based on not changing the clubs, I need to hit down the ball a little bit more, deliver a little bit less loft. My launch angle is a little bit too high there. A dynamic loft of 27 is fine at a lower swing speed. At my swing speed, it starts to make the ball go too high, which you can see slightly less shallow through impact on it. See the flight change. Did a decent job there. So, launch angle came down a little bit. That one’s a little better. Yeah. So, dynamic loft closer to 25 or 24 with a good strike gives me a little bit more like the flight I expect. So, you know, and even in my case, I think this is an iron that’s a little bit more on the aspirational side. I have to work with it a bit to make it suit my flight. You know, that’s fine. The reality is something with a little bit stronger loft like a T-150 will probably suit me more out of the box. That one is horrendously thin and in the heel. Yeah. So, I mean it difficult to quantify a lot of the time, especially when something is not drastically different than a previous version. You have to be realistic. If you’ve got last year’s version of T100s and they’re not all worn out, are you going to pick up this year’s, put them at the same loft, and suddenly be blown out of the water with the performance? I don’t think so. It’s pretty nice. Just a bit thin. Yeah. No, they feel good. They feel very good. I think the looks of a dress to me are identical. I’d have a very hard time picking out anything that looks different than previous generations. For most people, this iron is going to be a little bit higher maintenance than necessary. I think the majority of people, the vast majority will be in a T250 and then some will be in a T150 and then some again will be in a T350. Probably see this being a little bit more rare. Yeah, but they’re solid. Nothing but positives to say. The one negative I would say is that they got a little bit more expensive. I don’t love that the industry just keeps doing this. Um, it’s every product cycle getting more expensive. At a certain point, it’s going to have to stop. I don’t know when it is. I kind of thought maybe this year. They just keep going up and up and up. Companies have got to figure out a way to stop inflating the prices of these clubs. Golfers and me, we don’t care if they’re improved. We don’t care. Unfortunately, you can’t just keep making them more expensive forever. At a certain point, I think people are just going to be like, “Dude, enough is enough. figure out a price that makes sense and stop getting it higher and higher every generation. Now, in the long irons, the T100s have a little bit more, call it, technology separation from the previous version. The I can actually see it. The foreign is almost more like it’s got a little bit of a channel there. The person who plays the T100 probably would still carry a four. So, let’s hit a couple towed it a bit. That’s not a bad result. Not a bad result. That is not in the middle. It is low in the heel. Launch definitely came down. Carry not that different. So, I mean, that’s two shots in, but it’s, you know, it’s not an unreasonable iron for a long iron in terms of forgiveness. It’s not completely unhitable. It’s pretty good as well. I think it’s slightly slower swing. It’s nice. No issue getting a lot of height. I mean, I don’t hit a low ball to begin with. That’s good. It’s good. You know, feel-wise. I mean, I’m probably being a little bit particular. Can you feel that it’s a slightly different construction, the 7R? Maybe. It just feels like it has some pop off the face. I don’t think it’s a bad thing because I’ve hit a number of them off the toe and the results are quite good. So, I think long iron wise, I can tell you that’s that’s quite nice. Um, the mid and short irons, I think, be aware. A T100 probably going to be a pretty subtle upgrade, and that’s fine. That’s totally fine. Now, the T150 is an iron that will be interesting to definitely a larger segment of the market. You know, is it going to be significantly more forgiving than a T100? In the past, maybe the difference was a little more subtle. This year’s a bit different. So, they’re actually closer in in static loft. So the 32 degree 7R that I’m holding in a T-150 only one degree stronger than the T100 at 33. This in terms of like the the multimaterial part, the tungsten amount, this T-150 is almost like getting back to uh the concept irons from a number of years ago in terms of how much tungsten it’s kind of sneaking into the Cobra 3D printed iron territory. So this one is much more interesting to me just because it’s still a very compact shape. It’s even a dress maybe only subtly bigger looking than the 100, but if that amount of sort of forgiveness is being built into that shape, this one could be a little bit more on the special side. It’s not a great strike, but it’s a great result. It’s a good way to start, honestly. Low in the heel. Face was square, though. Kind of got the exact distance I was expecting. It felt pretty solid. I definitely didn’t feel the club twist much in my hands. Decent strike. I might have hit that maybe just the tiniest bit heavy fractionally though. It’ be almost hard to tell. Be pretty solid. Just little bit of a draw. Yeah. Tiny bit low in the toe. The overdraw makes it go a little bit further, a little faster swing, a little faster ball speed. They feel pretty solid. Feel pretty solid. I don’t know that I’m able to perceive much of a difference in sort of the sound and feel versus the 100s. The look is very very subtle. It’s pretty good as well. Almost. It’s very similar flight, but a very different strike. So, that’s that’s kind of what I like about these so far is that they are definitely not too sensitive on strike. It kind of reminds me of of the Cobra 3D printed irons I’ve been playing. Yeah, it’s a horrifyingly bad strike. Okay, so again, I’m not gonna I’m not going to be one of these people that goes and hits 20 shots and makes one review and says, “These are unbelievable. Go nuts.” I think my initial impression says that this might be kind of a special iron. Over the next few months, time will tell in terms of how good this one actually is. My initial impression is very good. Even though it kind of feels a little bit different off the face, these are not like, hey, I’m, you know, I’m numb in terms of where the strike is. I could definitely feel where the strike was. It’s just not really affecting the ball flight all that much. Not a perfect strike, but almost exactly the flight and yardage that I was hoping to get. Minor upgrades on T100. Not shocked. T-150 has a lot of potential. I think they may be on to something with that specifically. The last thing I will say is I think Titus might now have one of the best, if not the best fitting system. So, let’s be honest, the majority of people are not buying a full custom set. They’re not doing full aftermarket shafts and heads and spending three grand on a set of irons. Most people are going to pick something that Titus can build for them for reasonable price. So, using their fitting system, you have a lot more loft and lie settings than I think just about any other company. There’s one or two that are close. Tailormaids is also very good. And Titus has this weight in the back for actual you can actually make some head weight adjustments in the fitting based on what shafts you’re using, based on the person’s preference. Time will tell whether they kind of recapture sort of the iron leader position that I think at one point they had, you know, in a lot of fitting studios. Not so much in mine, but we’ll see.

Golf clubs are getting out of hand, seems like the same as the 2023 T100 and T150model plus the ridiculous price increase. I guess there is only so much you can do with irons outside of 3DP. The T250 might be worth it though just based on looks alone.
Short and to the point without a bunch of BS. Matt is the best reviewer
$1400 for an iron set is outrageous. $650 for a driver is criminal. I just replaced my 2015 mizunos and callaway driver this year and plunked down almost $3k. I have definitely seen benefits, but holy crap not for 1.5-2x my last set.
No club head speed on the tiles. You focusing more on ball speed for quality of strike?
Current prices for clubs just means mine will have to last a lot of years and any replacements will be used. $800+ CAD for a new driver makes no sense. Clubs are not improving year over year anymore.
My next set will direct to consumers for sure
Tried malby irons and they were sweet , with the price even better
Would you be concerned playing a 7-iron that spins in the mid to high-5000s?
Matt, as a player in t100, what would be an ideal launch angle with a 7i with a swing speed of 88mph
Same as previous gen….save your money
Once again, love your straight forward / no-nonsense take on these. Stark contrast to the short video I just watched with Justin Thomas and Spieth slow-motion high-fiving each other over how amazing these irons are.
How are the T250s?
Are these going to replace your 3DP Tours in the bag?
I personally don't think irons change as much as woods in terms of tech but I have no scientific evidence to back that up. I recently switched to what is now the old gen titleist irons (as of today lol) from Callaway Apex Pro 16's and while I do hit them a bit better, the change from 2016 to 2025 does not seem wildly different to me iron wise but going to the new GT woods from my old 917's was a massive difference.
I also want to say that I'm a 12 handicap and have found the t100, t150 mix to be the sweet spot. GW-7I t100 and 4-6 as t150's has been a really nice combo set for me. Did have to get the 6 iron bent to fix gapping though.
I do like the fractional spec change they made to the T100 irons. Much easier to make a T100/T150 combo set (not that it's hard) but it should be easier to figure out where to break the combo set now. Lots of people may be able to combo without any loft adjustments from standard, which is incredible and more OEM's should go this route.
So frustrating that they fool the average golfer into thinking the new design is more efficient and goes farther but then you find out the lofts are a degree stronger. Taylormade did the same thing with the P790.
Is it just me or do the fitting iron screw in the back look awesome
Should have stayed a 34 that’s kind of the mark of all of the true players irons. Feels like a strange decision when better players usually want the weaker lofts and more spin
This video caught me just at the right time. I’ve tried ping g440s, PXG black ops and gen 7S both P and XP and just asked my pro to schedule a fitting session for the T250s and T350s. Perfect timing. I currently play one fifties but need more forgiveness. Great video. What’s your view of the Recoil Dart shafts vs the Steelfiber shafts? Thanks
Still shows how much iron design can change spin despite relatively same loft. T100 spins a lot more than the T150.
Just gonna be a gigachad and go with the 620MB all the way up to 3 iron
Matt, what is your handicap, like +5/6 ? I love that your proclaimed mis-hits look like what dreams are made of for the most of us. Great content, great channel!
Matt I love your videos! I think you offer great insight and perspective. Been following you since 2020 with TXG.
Thanks!
6 or 7 iron being hit there? … I just went into the now "old" t100's from mizuno 225's … only about 2.5 clubs shorter !!
I enjoy these videos but lets be real, this is same tech with stronger loft and slightly different look. Beautiful irons but all these manafacturers are just flooding the market. This is geting to be to much. Great video as always Matt.
Needing two gap wedges for the 150's is asinine! Great preview of the models though!
The price is exactly why I moved to sub 70. Haven’t looked back
Best reviews online.
2024 T200 – $2049 Cdn
2025 T250 – $3149 Cdn
….Houston we have a problem.
i may not buy a latest club again besides wedges, and definitely not new, all the stuff a year or two old is elite nowadays.. you could pick up an AI Smoke TD for sub $300 recently
They seem like great clubs but I see no reason for a mostly cast club to cost this much. Forging the welded face doesn't cost much
Great review Matt. Looking forward to giving these a swing.
T250/T150 combo or ZXi5/ZX7i? I'm not a steep player but I'm looking for better workability and better dispersion than my current 718 AP3
Please continue to be honest and unbiased. The biggest strength of this channel imo that separates it from the rest. Quick question, when fitting for these heads do you have heads other than the 7 iron in the t150 and t250 for fitting combo sets?
