Fed up number three putting. I’m going to show you how a pencil is going to change your game. Something a lot of golfers really struggle with is how to optimally launch their putts. Also, it’s not something that a lot of golfers really think about. Want me to show you how? Let’s get into it. When it comes to optimizing your pace control, you’ve really got to know how to launch the putt. So, what do I mean by that? In essence, we want to make sure that the putter is on an upward trajectory by a couple of degrees and we’re also delofting that putter. So, as you can see there, I’ve got a little bit of shaft lean. So, it’s quite distinct because what we want to do is we want to get the ball rolling, not skidding. So, how do we do it? Very simply, if you place a pencil just behind your ball and then hit towards a hole, let’s say 10, 15, 20 ft, and just really make sure you miss the pencil, but also get that putter tracking upwards to get a nice clean roll.
