All I Wanted Was to Break 50… Then This Happened
Hello from Greece. I’m currently in Costa Narino on the hills course with the legends tour. We were playing the prom yesterday. Currently we just had Paul Lowry tea off right on the Olympic course next door. Today I’m doing a 9-hole course vlog. I’m going to say I want to try and break 50, but I feel like I feel my golf is at the stage I feel like I can break 50, but I’m running on like 5 hours of sleep. So I don’t know. Let’s see if we can try Rick 50 in Greece on the hills course in Cino. Let’s go. [Music] You like we don’t have a scorecard. We have no scorecard. Okay, we we have no scorecard, but look, we’re going to drive to the red te’s. We don’t even here. We’re on hall one. It’s a par four. Um because we’re in Greece, everything is in meters. So, that’s not very helpful. I mean, it’s okay for off the tea cuz like I know it’s a driver. I know there’s bunkers. You know what? No driver off the tea. And we’ll soon worry about it when it comes to the green. golf glove. Okay. Also, I have not had any range we’ve not had any range time because our shuttle from the hotel was a wee bit late. So, we’ve just literally jumped onto the course. Um, not a good strike, but it’s on the ferry, so I’m not going to complain. It’s all good. It’s bad strike. It’s fine. Okay, let’s let’s measure these. Okay. Um, right. 160 yards the pin. I’m going to hit my sixiron. I like my sixiron. I was hanging well yesterday. Um, I’ll be fine. I think I’ll break 50. I played really well yesterday. Um, but one thing I have found in Greece, all my approach shots have come up so short. The grass here in Greece, like the ball just doesn’t roll. So like in Scotland, it will roll on screen, whereas in Greece, like the ball just stops. Um, so yeah, I think if I’m wrong, then I don’t know. Oh, that’s actually annoying cuz you know what? We’re fine. The strike on that was so good. But um it’s fine. We’re fine. Not in the bunker. We’re fine. It’s still right. Okay. So, going to bring my putter approach and my 56. Um, my weakest my weakest right now I’m going to say is C shots like this where it’s like got bunker to get over. It’s around the greens. I should be using like a 56 and like chipping on but I always end up skulling knifing them. So I’d rather I take my approach and I’m like to half swing and get it there. But these greens run so fast. So if there’s no spin on the ball, it’s going to keep running. See course management, guys. I’m doing it. Okay. Risking it with a 56. It doesn’t work. Then a stain in the back. Did you see that? No. No. Right. You know what? There’s our warm-up hole. We’ve not been to the range. Warm up hole. There’s literally no sand in this bunker. That That’s pretty good. set. Okay. Not a good start. Not a good start. Oh, bugger. So, we’re on a par 4 282 m whatever that is in yards, but it’s a dry anyway. Um, annoyingly, I use the Callaway ERC balls and it’s got triple tracks on them. And I love I have a T. Yeah, I do. I love putting with them because of the triple tracks, but I’ve ran out. So, I had to use my old super softs. Wait. Yeah, my old super softs, which would be annoying. I do like them, but for putting I like triple tracks. Oh, that went right. Oh, I’m not playing well today. Right. That was not good. You know what? We’ve not been strange, guys. I think it takes like four holes to warm up. We’re fine. What is really funny is that the Legends Tour is literally being played on the Olympic course right next door. If that driver had gone any more right, that would not have been good. Now I’m actually questioning. Okay, they’re way they’re on the pumpkin. I’m actually questioning now. I need to be aware and I might just six iron off a tea if I think it’s going to go onto the other fairway. So, yeah. Right. Not in a great place, but um I’ve got my eight iron just I’m just going to punch out. I don’t want in the bunkers. I just want out of this. So, be fine. Yeah, that’s fine. I’m happy with that. We’re fine. I’m so confused right now. Okay. Well, this is a rubbish rangefinder, right? So, I’m at a rangefinder. Um, now working in meters. I think they said meter yards is like 20% more. Okay. So, um, it says we’re 70 m to the pin. I don’t have a rangefinder, so I’m just going to do a pro shot. See what happens. That was way less than I wanted it to be. Okay, I’m already not putting well. Right, we’re going to put this. No, please don’t. Okay. So, if I’m hooking if I’m hooking my shots left, I’m just going to start aiming more right and it’ll be fine. Right. This is a long pot for par, which kind of sucks. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep good. Okay. Think. Okay. That was good. Good. Good. Good. Right. Boogie. Three over on two holes. H. Right. To be honest with you, playing bad golf is totally fine when you have like that amazing view to make up for. Like it’s actually insane. Like I’m actually like I’m so like I feel so like lucky to be play a course like this cuz it’s like unbelievable. Um, we have a par three, 130 m. I have no rangefinder, so I’m assuming it’s like 150 yards. So, I’m going to use my sixiron and it’ll be fine. Right. That is so cute. Is that not the cutest thing ever? Zoom in on that. I think this is why I like I don’t know. I feel like there’s just so much culture in Europe. It’s cool. It’s nice. I’m going to focus on hacking this off the toe. I don’t know why I’m keep hanging off the heel. The minute I aim right to make my left, I hit it straight. That always that is such a thing. Oh well, it’s fine. Am I on the green? Where’s my ball? I can’t see my ball. I assume I need a wedge of some sort. I know my So, I probably should be using a 56°, but I’m tired. My golf is not good right now. So, I’m going to play it safe with a bump and run. Fine. Oh my god. Oh my god. I actually thought that was going to go in. I totally read that so wrong. I really read that as a damn right. So, I’m not feeling too confident with my driver. Um, and I don’t know what happens. I’m just going to do a sixiron. I don’t think I’m feeling it with my driver too much today. Sixiron. Okay, we’re just before the bunker. That’s better. It’s fine. But I think for like I’m not playing aggressively. I don’t want to like shoot an amazing score. I would hit my woods, but I’m just I feel like I’m going to hook it. So, I feel like for for my mental game, I’m going to hit my sixiron cuz I feel I can hit it, she says with such confidence. Oh It’s a little a little bit chunky, but it’s fine. It’ll roll on the fairway. Okay. 115 m. Whatever that is in yards, I don’t know. Um, so I’m going to take my seven iron purely because yesterday when I was praying in the playing in the proam, all my approach shots, the green were just coming up so short. How much you bet that it’s going to roll right off the green? Oh, fine. I don’t think it will. No, yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Good shot. That was such a good shot. Okay. Right. If I two put this, it’s a par. So, we’re going to take our time. We’re going to analyze screen. Okay. So, my last video or in a few videos, you guys have said that I rush my putts. So, we’re going to take it slow. Right. Everything is sloping to the to my left. Well, to my right. So, I’m going to be aiming it for around here. And also, not that I’m going to start doing this cuz I feel obviously I’m not at that level yet, but yesterday my pro Scott Hammed in the proam, he was teaching me how if you’re putting like against the grain versus like with the grain. Um, but obviously I’m not at that level to be doing that, but I just thought it was interesting. And he was saying with his sunglasses, he can see like the dark patches of where the grass. I don’t know. It was interesting. So, I think it’s just crazy how pros play and like do all that that level. Um, we’re putting against the green, so I’m going to I’m not going to not going to consider that. Damn it. First part of the day. Okay, that was good. Okay, so we’re on part three. It’s 80 m now. Let’s call that 110 yards. And I’m going to take my 9 iron cuz I don’t want to be short in the bunker. Come around, please. Come around. Oh, I’m way off the back. Um, so I’m way off the back. Ah, you know, I don’t I’m annoyed. Either I need to learn my yards to meters or I just maybe need to just like Well, if that was 100 yards, I mean, my nine iron would land like 110. So, why I’m I think I do that. I club up in case I like hit it bad and then I’m off the back of the green. At least I struck it well. Learn in progress. We’ll get there. We’re right next to the bushes. I hear too many bugs. I have heard people have seen snakes. So, I’m scared. We’re just going to take my 56°. I hate myself right now so much. Oh my god. I Oh, I’m playing so bad. Pitching wedge. Oh, I just done this here. All right. Pitching wedge. I could putt this, but I just I never I don’t really do well putting these. What was that? Like for real, what was that? Oh my god. Wait, have I just What have I made there? What’s the score in this? Uh, it was 1, two, three, four. Three, four. This be five. Is this five? We made a double on a par three. You know what? We’re not complaining. We’re golfing grease, think. Okay. Five out of three. Will I break 50 on mine? Maybe not. Okay, next hole. We’re fine. Okay, so we’re on a par five. I’ll be honest with you. I’m just really tempted to just keep using my sixiron just cuz I just don’t want to keep hooking and like although I was playing my driver yesterday, but like I don’t know. I’m just so weary of like the legends tour going on on the course beside us. Have a tea. Um so I don’t know. I just like I don’t know. I don’t know. Like I said, we’re not playing to score well. I’m playing to Well, I do want to score well, but I also want to like I don’t know, strike the ball well, right? Okay, we’re fine. Can’t tell if they’re really short or not. Oh, hit the ball. Hit the ball. We still have so long to go. Maybe this should be the video of can I break 50 when we’re six high or not tea. Ah, still quite a way to go. So, we’re just going to going to keep getting it down there. That was good. I think when it comes to things like this, yeah, I think normally I’d be like, “Oh my god, I can’t hit my driver.” But I’m gonna try this thing where I focus on my positives. At least if I keep the driver in the bag and I focus on her six eye. Are you okay? Yeah, guys. It’s my sister that’s filming on both. Magnet. I don’t know why the bugs Why do they want bugs keep flying on her? And I’m so sorry. Okay. Oh my god, we’re both like really calm about it. I don’t you know the difference between a wee bug and a big bug like you know by the sounds. Oh god. Um yes. So I’m just taking the positives that I can I’m actually enjoying striking my irons and this is good practice for me. I’m in Greece like positives. No more negative as 137 m. I think it’s six iron again. Six iron. This is literally this I feel like this is a one club challenge. One club challenge video. Go. Yes. That was good. That was really good. Okay. Yay. That’s fine. That’s actually I’m all right with that cuz that’s an easy putt for par. I think it should be. Okay. Par. I feel I feel the there’s like a 310 yards par four. Um, I feel like the fairway is wide enough for me to use my driver. We’re gonna risk it, guys. We’re gonna risk it. Be fine. It’ll be fine. Please be safe. Safe. Um, I’m kind of worried that’s not safe. We’ll soon find out. I might might keep the driver in for the rest of the round. Okay guys, that was actually a really good drive. I think we’re lucky that the hole was a dog leg left. Um, good ball because we are 98 yards 98 m the pin. Let’s call that what 110 yards. Um, I think my nine iron n iron Dang it. I never know if like was I aiming was I aiming that way. I think I’m cutting across my irons a wee bit so that they go right. But I mean we’re fine. It’s fine. It’s fine. for that time of the round again. Wedge. Um, God, please don’t skull this Kuma after such good drive. Do not skull this. [Music] Okay. Ah, that was a good pop. Boogie. Right. Two more holes left. 290 m. I’m going to say what? 300 y. I know it’s a driver hole. I don’t know. Should I do my driver? I think not. Guys, I’m going to play it safe. We’re going to do sixiron because I just I don’t know. The frustrating thing is obviously like when you’re traveling, you kind of want to like keep your bags lighter for the airport. So, I took my five iron out. Like this would have been so much fun to like play with my five iron, but it’s fine. That’s fine. Perfect. Do not roll in the That nearly went in the bunker. Okay, that strike goes off the heel. My miss is hitting off the heel. So, we’re fine with that cuz I know that’s my miss. 170 165 m 6. Oh, bad strike. But it’s fine. It’s on the fairway. Just a little bit chunky. It’s fine. 60 m. What? Like 90 yards. Um, got my approach. So, I might do like a 3/4 swing with this. Good job. Okay, we’re we’re happy with that. I sometimes like sometimes you you get when like you’re so focused on the golf and then when you actually look up and look at the course, it’s actually like insane. Like it’s genuinely insane. Cool. And now we have this long part for par. Get damn damn damn. Another bogey. We’re We’re fine with bogey golf as it’s our last hole. I’m going to play it safe. It’s the one club challenge. My sixiron, right? Where are my teeth? That’s the only one thing. Not the best strike in the world, but it gets there. That wasn’t that good. It’s fine. It’s fine. It’s fine. It’s fine. 130 m. I’m going to go for six iron. Okay. If I can just get this on the green with my sixiron and then two putt it for par. Happy days. That’s off the back. I see it. It’s I see it. It’s back of the green. But like I really need to I know I need to know the yardage of my club. It’s downwind as well. But it’s a that’s a confidence thing cuz I’m like I always club up because I just assume I’m going to hit it bad. So when I strike it well that should been a seven iron and that would have been like closer to the pin. But it’s ah why did I do that? I can’t assume I’m not going to strike it. Okay. So I see it’s in the rough back of the green just cuz it’s my last hole and I need to get this in two. I’m gonna take my pitching wedge because I know I’m I could potentially knife it or skull it with my my wedge. So, if I bump and run this onto the green and then putt it, it’ll be fine. I wonder if I broken 50 because I don’t have a score card and I I’m not keep No, I’m not keeping score. I’m scoring, but like I’ve not added up what I’ve scored yet. Have I broken? Yeah, I think I have cuz I made a few pars and my worst hole was I think a double pokey. I think it’s fine. Yes, that’s good. That was good. I mean I it still left the long pot, but I’d much rather have that than knife and a wedge. [Music] Oh, that was good. I like that was good. I’m happy about that. Okay, finished from on a bogey. Isn’t so bad. Happy with that. Okay, so we finished on a 44. So, I broke 50. I don’t know what that front line was cuz I didn’t have a score card. And you slowly I’m actually glad I broke 45, but I didn’t actually play that well unless I calculated the world, but never mind. Anyway, thanks for watching. I hope you enjoyed my NO golf vlog in Greece. I think I’m going to film another one tomorrow hopefully. So, keep an eye out for that and like, subscribe, comment, you know the drill. See?

Ok I've watched a few of these videos , good luck in your journey to get better , but for too much talking not enough focusing , to much laughing and giggling ( like that tubes guy ) to much negative talk , get focused & keep positive and you'll become a better player in no time
⛳️👋
first hole was deffo a triple bogey and not a double lol?
This'll be where Jimmy Bullard had an invite to compete in the main evernt.
You need to get yourself a 3 or 4 hybrid I use the Calloway Mavrik and when my driver isn’t working like it should I use one of them it keeps it straight and on the fairway
for Meters to yards just add 10% of the distance in M to get yards
I enjoyed watching your video. Your swing is very nice with great strike and tempo. You mis-calculated your meters to yards conversion and it caused you to go long a few times. A simple approximation when converting meters to yards is to add 10%. For instance, 50 meters is roughly equal to 55 yards.
We bullied her into getting a decent mic cover. Can we bully her into not carrying her 30kg+ bag around the whole course during competitions, then wondering why she's not hitting what she expects to? Or maybe cleaning her lens once in a while 😅🤣
Geez how loaded are your parents ?! Looking good though girlie. Enjoy ya content.
What a beautiful course. Greece just looks so amazing with that scenery. I enjoy watching your vlogs, Keeks. Love your charm and positive attitude. Yes you're still fairly new to golf, but you really have a natural swing and you're only a few slight adjustments from killing it out there. I only wish I had your swing and tempo when I was your age. Keep grinding, and thanks for sharing your on course vlogs.👍⛳
You should get a launch monitor and record your distances for your clubs. Have you ever taken lessons on chipping?
Congratulations on breaking 50 Keeks!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Well done! Very nice course and surrounding scenery! The part about the bugs attacking you and your sister was funny too!😂😂😂
Were you playing in the Pro Am at the renaissance club keeks?
Was hoping to see some of your golf in person!
I watched your game with the caddie and your 17th and 18th holes were class!
It’s what gets every aspiring golfer to play, the chip in was sublime! Well done breaking 50
I asking myself are you making content videos or trying to focus on improving your golf? After a few dodgy shots you lose all confidence in yourself, think more positively forget the last hole and numbers, move on reset and concentrate on the next,GLin your endeavours Keeks.maybe a bit of mind coaching? ATB AL
Sometimes it looks like you’re still letting it get into your head too much, still a massive achievement and one to be proud of.
You have got such a nice swing Keeks you just need to get more confident etc
On the 5th hole you said it was 80m and used a 110 yard club. 80m is 88 yards. Way to much club. Giving shots away
Well there’s some one will help you out there you are a good strong young lady good golfer very strong grip all you hitting your ball 👍 well done what you do find a good golfer to play with you and teach you how to aim your Target that all I can say honey if you don’t mind if only❤ I m not that far I’ll teach to play well and great golfer I’m sorry to say this that how I feel for you because I watch you games every times you are a good golfer sweetheart ❤
Swing Coach should have picked this up. 1:58 your resting arm angle is wrong. when swinging, momentum will extend your arms outwards towards the ball. You need to take a half a step back away from the ball to create an resting arm angle more towards the ball and not the ground. This will allow more face contact instead of hitting the heel of the club.
I'm somewhat new to golf and what I found out was that, when my longer clubs don't work, my 7 wood almost always does. And it goes a fair bit longer (and is more reliable) than my 6 iron as well. Not sure if you have one, but if not, its might be worth checking one out. It's basically a magic wand.
80 m is not even close to 110 yards lol
Great video Keeks!!
No joke, when you hit those short shots, squeeze your ballocks together. Paddy tip.
