staff were not able to to speak to me on camera. Quite a few of them stopped to talk to me here and explain how upset they were that Christian Horner was leaving. Some of them had worked under him for 20 years and he has brought incredible success to this team. And even though they weren’t getting the best results this season, they were still one of only three teams which were winning Grand Prix. But but one unnamed individual passed on to me a video filmed by them of of the speech Christian her gave to the staff here at Red Bull today. I think it will in the emotion both from the staff and her himself underline his personal investment in this team and also what the staff thought about him. Yesterday I was informed um by Ripple that uh that operationally uh I will no longer be involved with um with the business or the team moving forward from after this uh this gathering. Uh I will still remain employed by the company but operationally uh the B will be uh handed over. Um and that obvious is uh was a job uh obviously to my to myself but um you know obviously what I’ve had a chance to do is to to reflect over the last 12 hours or so and and I wanted to stand in front of all of you um to to break this this news um and just express my gratitude um to each and every single uh member of the team um that has given so much um during the last 20 and a half years that I’ve been here. When I arrived 20 years ago with a few less gray hairs, um I walked into a team. I didn’t know what to expect, but I was immediately um I was immediately welcomed and out of two um rundown buildings, we started to build what became a powerhouse in Formula 1. um watching and being part of uh this team has been the biggest privilege in my life. Um seeing the team [Music] [Applause]

  1. Wooohoooo!

    Nom, nom, nom 🍿

The beginning of the end of cheatbull racing. Payback for 21 is coming full circle.

    Kek kek 😅

  2. Worst decision in the history of the sport. Red Bull are finished and Max will undoubtedly leave now.

  3. for me redbull formula 1 team is Christian horner. the drama for today's generation is so exaggerated reflecting on these new F1 "fans" creating a difficult time for everyone involved in F1 esp. those who are constantly being chased by the cameras. there is absolutely no reason to just cut Christian like that just for a bad season and a bad car, If its true that they removed him for the 2026 plans then theyre done! new team principal, new car, GP will no longer be in the headset with max, new everything. you think you can survive on top with all these changes, you cant.

  4. Mad respect for what he’s achieved and unparalleled success. And for being a human. No need to feel sorry for him IMO, his next chapter awaits, and let’s see how he continues his F1 legacy.

  5. I just started watching Drive To Survive. Karma is rough! How he treated Renault after a 12yr relationship was just callous and pathological. He took such pleasure in it. Disgusting.

  6. It is appalling to see Horner at such a loss for words, and the feeling that the atmosphere at RedBull could be that bad, to the point of someone leaking something like this, and to have such an important move done in such a rushed and clumsy way. There are so many simple ways in which all of this would be so much better and dignified. I love Red Bull, but this was truly disappointing.

  7. He knows how to lead and inspire people, that's blatantly obvious watching this. As he said, he wanted to thank each and everyone of his team. I've seen managers just clear their desks and go….. 20yrs doing what he has, speaks volumes. He'll certainly be back in a different coloured jersey for another team.

  8. Adrian Newey and Christian Horner gone… Red Bull will struggle to keep the level, thats for sure.

  9. This may sound harsh but good riddance to him Red Bull is a 1 man team and when Max isn't winning he moans. Max should go to. Max blames everyone else when he crashes and he rather crash than get beaten. If Max raced fair and if Michael wasn't in charge Hamilton would be a 8 time world champion so Max is partly to blame for Hamilton not winning the championship in 2021. F1 has never been a fair sport. So much dominance and Pickering among managers.

  10. Not really sure why you would choose to share this ? If he wanted SKY News there you would think there would be an invite ? Or do I have that wrong ? Cheap journalism, and for what gain ?

  11. KARMA baby, what he did with all the 2nd seat drivers came to haunt him in the middle of the season just like he used to love doing that to the drivers.

  12. Did everyone on here forget that he’s a pervert ?….ok he got off it, girl pressured by bigwigs in Red Bull inc himself….thought he was bigger than Max in the end…he wasn’t…

  13. Im sure his 100 million dollar + fortune in the bank will make things and living a little bit easier , now he has been fired .

  14. Drive to Survive Season 8

    Episode 1: Christian Horner
    Episode 2: Christian Horner
    Episode 3: Christian Horner
    Episode 4: Christian Horner
    Episode 5: Christian Horner
    Episode 6: Christian Horner
    Episode 7: Christian Horner
    Episode 8: Christian Horner
    Episode 9: Christian Horner

  15. This reminds of when the BBC kicked out Jeremy Clarkson. Top Gear went into decline. Horner has done many questionable things, but there's no Red Bull Racing without him, so it won't get any better from here on.

  16. I’ve only been watching Formula One for about five years, so not as long as most of the people commenting here. But Christian Horner always seemed like a decent guy to me. I know there were some pretty serious issues, but he was a good face for Formula One. Horner and Toto are good faces for F1 in my book.

  17. He contributed mightily to the team and should be duly recognized. Sadly as in all aspects of life, once a target is painted on you by whoever is in power, you seldom prevail.

  18. Imagine contributing 1/3 of your life to an organisation, helping them reach the pinnacle of success, and this is how you're treated in the end.

  19. The not audible part: "…i was immediately welcomed and *out of two run-down buildings*, we started to build…" 🤯
