Paige Spiranac has become one of the biggest names in all of golf.

The former University of Arizona and San Diego State college golfer has blown up on social media over the past several years. Spiranac, who grew up playing golf in Colorado, played in college and then spent some brief time playing professionally. But she found her true calling on social media.

Spiranac has millions of followers across platforms, including X, formerly known as Twitter, and Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. She’s one of the biggest personalities in the game, with Tiger Woods being the only person in the golf world with more of a following.

But Spiranac recently shared some disturbing social media news for everyone to see.

Spiranac revealed that there are so many people impersonating her on social media, they’re now interacting with each other.

While it’s funny in one sense, it’s disturbing in another.

“Fake me responding to another fake me lol I feel like they could make a black mirror episode about impersonating accounts because it’s out of control,” she wrote.

Fans are concerned.

“I personally have been in contact with probably three or four all claiming to be you. It’s pretty funny,” one fan wrote.

“Everyone Want’s To Be Paige !!! Imitation Is The Sincerest Form Of Flattery !!! Woof !” one fan added.

“Yes its annoying, im up to 8 to following me , message me . It’s out of control,” one fan added.

“Yep, I counted about 13 Paige accounts,” one fan added.

“Wait, you’re NOT DMing me for my credit card number? That’s what you’re saying here?” one fan added.

“One of these days, I’m gonna see your Blue check real life Paige follow me back…!” another fan responded.

It’s a disturbing trend on social media to have so many people impersonating you.
