what happens is the face is looking down and then as it goes around you see how the face is pointing to the sky that’s what yours looks like okay so now as you shift the club shallows which is great we always want the club to shallow early problem is the ball’s way out there so now the path is coming way too much into out with you with a face that’s closing right right so as a result your path is too far to the into out with a face that’s closing so that is a recip so I’m basically Top Spin for that’s exactly what you’re doing right so not that not that I’m worried about the sh fa I’m worried about the Shar face that there’s no match up so the problem is is if I have this face at the top watch if I cleared look it’s square look how open my hips are but you you don’t you can’t do that you don’t turn out of the way as much so there’s two ways to handle it we can either change the face right or like Greg’s saying one of the problems is is you because you’re so far away as the club goes around you to keep you in balance your hips move towards the ball so now you’ve actually gotten closer to the ball and now on the down swing that inhibits your butt to get out of the way because your arms are stuck so now you’re kind of waiting for the club to pass you and that’s when we get this nasty snap hook right

  1. So what should we do? What are your thoughts on Ludvid Aberg's setup and distance from the ball? He appears to stand much closer to the ball than tour average, and he swings on plane without a forced shallowwing move. I'd love to see your analysis of his swing, IMO, it's 99% fundamentally perfect. Thoughts?

  2. some teachers will get you closer to the ball so you almost can't early extend. Your body will go the opposite way to create space or you would miss the ball or shank it. sometimes people will get far away from the ball bc it feels powerful but in reality it caused a lot of issues with balance etc..
