54 golf has reapplied for official world golf ranking OGR points o almost four years after its inception. Despite a roster including major champions such as John Ram and Brooks Kepka, LIIV golfers only acrew OGR points through major championships causing significant drops in their rankings. Phil Mickelson for instance is now outside the top 1200. In response to the renewed application, PGA Tour professional Michael Kim humorously addressed the situation on social media, dismissing criticism of his own OGR position 56th and quipping that he should be ranked higher. The 54 hole format of LIIV Golf continues to be a point of contention with OGR criteria, leaving the success of this latest application uncertain.
