Shinszu bit closer than she was on the nine. So don’t have to worry about this one spinning back away from the pin. It’s just been a little untidy. See that the pass at Bang Shinsil those half wedges do tend to be a little bit of an Achilles heel. Jung also going to be laying up at 11. playing partners. I think that’s it. Green on 10. So breathing room for Kim and Juke. Doesn’t have to over complicate this, especially from 66 meters. lay some kind of low pitch and release room for Kim Ningju. Looks like she’s just going to try and drop this into the UPS slope in front of her and have it crawl over that ridge cuz it will gather pace as it makes its way down to the pin. Just a little too hard. Pitch on the top of the slope. Just seen that working away from her. Suji’s putter going to come under a bit of pressure again. for unforced errors by Shinszo that came off the top of the club face. This short little tempo is proving to be a bit tricky for Bang this week. Back to the ninth final hall of the day for this threesome. Shing having a terrific day. Six under for the final round. She’s up inside the top 10. And this player has already posted a top 10 finish this year at the Dukshin EPC Championship that was won by our lead at the moment. Not lucky that ball staying out of the penalty area at 11. an opportunity for a hardworking path. He was a great front runner that week at the Duchin EPC King showing those great qualities again this week. No surprise up at the pointy end of the putting statistics and that’s a wonderful bounce back. Brilliant response to a bogey. Kimju back out in front at the moment by two, but remember Shinsil testy one for pass. So very much looking like a two-shot swing at the top of the leaderboard in favor of Kim. One for her part. Professional golfers hate bogeying par fives and that’s a good way to rectify the situation. stays in a share of third with Suji. Watched a lot of Bangshin Sil from the times she teed it up as an amateur at the Korean Women’s Open. Always possessed a tremendous game. So much talent and potential. But if there’s one thing you’ve noticed about her is she tends to make some sloppy bogeies from time to time. And especially Sunday afternoon, I think it can be costly. Could be very costly. She’ll slide three shots back. renewed sense of confidence and self-belief after picking up that second win. For the little skip and spin. Certainly had the skip, just didn’t quite have the grab. Looks like Chihian’s on a slight down slope. Pitch it a little shorter. First bounce is going to be hot. Nip it nicely. Should dig its heels in fairly quick. the field in greens in regulation this week. Saw earlier 90% of the time finds herself putting for birdie or better now. Shuing for a wonderful finish to her week. Yeah, nicely done. First Chinese player to hold a full card on the KPGA tour. It’s an excellent day’s work. Well, even from this up chosen to play this hole as a three-shotter. We saw that yesterday. I don’t mind it, especially with a comfortable lead like the one she has right now. No need to take the aggressive road. Bring that water on the left into play. So, just three good swings here. She’s in fine control of her golf ball. She’d fancy having a look from no worse than 25 ft. Now Kimman Sun 7 fortunately hitting in the wrong direction on Sunday. Three under par two over in the final round. Shinszil she can comfortably reach into. We saw that the last couple of days crowd like it. But I think this one’s a little right of target. Get a friendly kick. Oh, there it is. Catches the down slope. She’s going to have a crack in two. I can bet your bottom dollar on that. That is an enormous drive from Bang. Opportunities that power can create. Little luck will have that one kick out of the rough that catches the speed slot. And she might have less than 200 m into this green now. Silk down at the green. Get yourself to double digits under par. No. Tails off a little low. So, Mong was a little clunky back at 11. Strike this sweetly. Come uphill to the 12th green. Come off the slope. Okay. Pretty good. sharing second with Kim Suji Sun Jin some pretty good golf together. So off the right killer. She won’t feel like she’s out of it. Not if she hits shots like that. More birdie she makes, the louder the Parkun fan club is going to get. Now Jung Min back edge of the 11 works very gently downhill. Nothing to concern the players too much. That starter on the right line. in Hong Jong Min just the nine under part you have to say it’s effectively an eight horse race right now can eliminate anyone further back than nine under so just playing for points and cash at this stage conversely to this club has been the Achilles eel of Msan 7 this weekend. A lot of the buds have looked like that. Good ones refused to drop. Might have to get Kim Suji and Caddy out of your line. Mju, there you go. It’s better. Ball sits slightly below her feet. So does promoter a bit more left to right spin on it, which isn’t a bad thing with trouble lurking down the left. Even if you’re in the right rough with your layup, it’s that disastrous. This one looks like it’s been pulled. Oh no, it’s okay. It’s more than okay. She’s just not giving the chases a sniff. Rock solid since that 64 on Friday propelled her into the title picture. Suji, you can see if that ball snuck another 3, four yards further, would have caught that down slope and maybe run another 15, 20 yards. I think it’s just going to have to be a layup for the six-time tour champion. There was a major victory as well, the height gyro championship and the Hanoa Classic two years ago. If you’re wondering why she’s known as the autumn queen, it’s because all six of those victories have come in the second half of the season. Just something about late in the year that seems to awaken Suji’s golf game. A lot of amateurs on the weekend. You just think, “Right, I’m laying up at a par. I’m going to grab any old club and just shunt it down the fairway.” Not the case if you’re a professional. You always have a favorite yardage. Suji doing her best to try and leave herself that ideal number. It isn’t going to be a layup for Bangshin Sil. The par fives are going to be crucial for him on this back nine. Look at that. Just 183 m left. This could be a This could be a sixiron for Bang. Pitch it halfway between the front edge of the green and the pin. Just let it run up the rest of the way. Might just got to birdie both par fives and sort of hope for some help from Mju. But this one out a little right. Needs a friendly kick. Just don’t think she got all of it. Saw a ball bounce. It’s not in the penalty area. Up ahead at 12, Hangman Jong trying to keep herself in the hunt. This a birdie opportunity after a very nice iron shot just stays high. Kung knows the chances are slim, but run the tables. You’re in control of your own golf game. Can’t control what Kim Nu does behind you. They keep picking up birdies. You can post a number a couple of groups ahead of the leader. Just see if that holds up. Yeah, for my money I have to say function one of the most exciting talents on the KPGA tour the last couple of years is there are players that have one at a better clip than Bang. She’s got all the tools to contest in the modern game. Hits it long, hits it high, and she just starts to tidy up the wedges. The wedge game as we’ve seen already on 10. She’ll be a force to be reckoned with. Already a three-time champion. Come in. Much more traditional player just plots her way around. Going to use that slope as well on 12. Pretty good shot. Should be cutting into the lead of year one at top the money list with a good performance here. one nowhere near the leaders. Suji not particularly good layer that ball just creeping into the first cut looks like it’s coming off the left maybe hurting Suji a fraction. There is a down slope about 20 ft short of the hole which he can land this ball on. try to get kick off that with a bit of lease. It’s just so unpredictable as a kind of judge. This ball’s going to come out of the rough comes up with a little less spin. It’s a grasp being caught between club face and ball. Try to fly it all the way there. It’s a decent result. She ahead on 12 looking a long way right trying to sling a pitching wedge in hit shots harder to create more back spin. That’s pretty good to use the back stop like home. options of how she wants to play this shot. Pretty similar to the one she had back at 10. Just skips it through the green. Nothing wrong with that. The M looks pretty clean for B Shinsil just short of green at 11. two clubs in her hands and I think I’d like to see Shinsel just show a little more variety around the greens. Very much a a product of modern golf these days. Everyone seems to just chip with their most lofted club which you can obviously do. It’s whatever you feel most comfortable with but just some dimensions to her game. Maybe slightly straighter face club like a wedge. Even a nine iron. Lots of green to work with. And it all just funnels down into this back pin. High percentage shot. Get the ball rolling like a putt as soon as you can. Looks like she’s got a decent amount of loft in her hands. And the up slope that she’s on is going to exacerbate that. So, she’ll have to carry this at least to the down slope. She’s worked that out brilliantly. That’s the birdie bang needed terribly get herself back to within two of 21 years of age now. And Chins runner up finish at the Financial Group Open week before she bagged the title at Gimhi Ga Pretty quick putt. Right there at 16 for the former Korean Women’s Open champion. Five victories on tour for her. Good birdie. Back after that birdies for Jan inside the top 10. Watch the amount of swing in this for Kimi Hun. At least a foot of break from the right. Hang coming up the hill to 13 pin. You can see just tucked on the left hand side of the green. Got a little stuck there. He got ahead of it. Shaft got under plane. Leave that club face open. That’s poor Suji like Shin Silk to birdie both par fives and then hope for some help from Mju. every chance. No choice here. Just got to take dead aim. But there’s a hint of breeze into her face. Coming up hill. Ball’s going to have a little more spin on it than usual. Oh, stunning stuff. He’s on the move. Parkun. Surely another birdie incoming. Tickly little one down the slope for Jung Min’s birdie at 12. Got it. She’s got it. Jung Min to 10 under park. We saw the putt from Jung in a very similar spot. It wiggles right early. See if figure that one out. Carbon copy of Fjo means but she still got that twosot lead. about is just creeping into the picture and a couple of major champions breathing down her neck. And let’s not forget about the rookie Kimi Hun at the other par five Sun Jin coming up into the 15th. We are seeing some brilliant goal shots from these ladies on the back nine. What a nicely controlled wedges. And Suji’s missed the comebacker. So that is a bogey. Awfully clumsy there for Suji. Now back at nine under. Touch of breeze into the players faces off the 12T. Ginsil yet to make par on this all all week. That front hole location, it’s very, very getable. Use the contours of the green to your advantage, particularly if you’re coming from the fairway. Let the players see. Oh, just works a little up the hill, but ample room out to the right half of this fairway. Actually cambers a little to the left. Not really putting foot wrong too often this week. Just knowing that tempo of the swing very much playing within herself, which is a lot easier said than done when you’re trying to close out the title. Now a head to 13. A slow uphill birdie putt for Hang Min. Just kick in for Sun Eugene to move up to eight under. So he moves hard to the right, but she’s bended it. So a very good Sunday up inside the top three. Just got to be wary of these downhill. Keep that butterface nice and square. Rock the shoulders. Okay. It’s a brilliant approach, but this putt does slide a little right. So, so you got to keep your focus inside left edge. Nice positive stroke. See amount of break in that but it drops. Parkinong moves within three men. Don’t throw it. Yuanju just in that right rough but has a good angle to this left pin. Just got to beware of the fly. I don’t want to miss this green long. Leave you a pretty slick chip. from this yardage. You factor in the elevation as well. Should just be a comfortable gap wedge protect against the flyer. See if she chooses to use that slope behind the pin and pulls it. Oh, that is that is a horrible place to leave it. There’s a very clumsy from tournament leader two putt. No guaranteed. Go flag hunting here. Just pushes it a fraction. Chitty chitty man. Hun doesn’t have to worry about getting too much spin on this. He’s less than a full wedge, right? It underneath the hole. Suju after that really poor bogey on the 11th. Needs to make amends here. Throw it just past the hole now. Just digs its heels in. That’s going to be a slow part. We saw it a bit earlier on from Shiun on 14. All that has given her problems. Oh my goodness, that is miles offline. Goodness me. Talk about Bang Shinsil not liking the look of the 10th don’t like the look of 14 too much. Here is Shinsil leader in trouble to take advantage. Breeze off the right generate so much spin and Shinil not always to her advantage though. Use that far right side of the tea box. Open up the angle of this pin a little with a five iron. Beautiful BMW 5 series still unclaimed this week. So things getting a little interesting on the back nine here at I1C. Mu leads by two but in a spot of bother on the 12 green. Chinsil, Hunyong, Soi, and Minjong all trying to chase her down here on Sunday. Well, not where you want to be putting from on 12 if you came in Ju’s going to move almost 90° off that slope. See it right there. It’s going to hang a hard right there and even start working back towards her. just not about your practice. And all things considered, she’s done very well from there. Takes a lot of creativity to feel the line out from that spot. Now, Jung Min would have liked this a little closer, but it’s still a reasonable look for Birdie. Good putt for a right-hander that moves from right to left. Not high enough, not hard enough. Chance here for Shinszo. It’s a fact that it’s going to be pretty slow. Got to keep your pace up. as just falls off a little. Try though from B. She learned anything watching the part of Fong Jung Min. Easy to do. You overcompensate a little. Sit on the high side. Uh, Suji, it’s like a different angle to Shinsils. This one moves a whole lot more. Still coming uphill though. Park from the drop zone on 14 after pulling her T-shot wildly left into the penalty area. Let’s give himself a chance, an outside chance to limit the damage. That could very well be a tournament over now. Huge putt for Kim Mu. Great two-part par. Need to start this outside the right edge. It really snaps hard to the left. That’s costly. She in on nine a three putt and Bangshin Sil is back within one. The mistake, you have to say, was with that second shot. That awful position. And it’s such a forgettable whole location on the front of the green as well. She’ll be kicking herself with that bogey. Just gives light to some of the chasers, including Kim Xi Hun, who’s up ahead on 13 with the best look of the three in this group for Birdie. just pulled that stroke. Looked a little short and quick. Unable to capitalize, but she’s gained a shot. Shinsel trying to keep this in the fairway. Right half is preferable. No length. No need for the driver. So sensible play just going with a long iron. Pretty hard kick and that rolls into the slightly thicker rough. It’s been a complicated hit to 16. So Jin to set a target in the clubhouse well into her back nine but gets to nine under par. Well done some Eu Jin. Good start. First, wait an awful long time for the next couple. Just some deep breaths here. No one said it was going to be easy. Closing out the tournament. She has experience doing it this year. Got that breakthrough title back at the Dutch EPC championship. kicks from left to right. Have to be wary of that. Looks like she’s drawn a nice level eye as well. So that’s a good start. 13th hole for Kim Ju. Safely on the green at 14 is Hangman Jong. Not exactly what you would call in birdie range. This one looks down the hill and just falls off left. Steady, steady. Okay. Don’t want to leave yourself too many of those for par Sunday afternoon. EJ Young the 16th hole made this whole two under par for the week. Pin all the way on an upper shelf. Tough to access a shot like that. Keep on chasing. Keep chasing. That’s beautiful. Pretty slow putt in the middle portion of the green. Should move a little left on her in the midpoint right there. Mine looks good. Just to give it enough steam. eight cuts this year. So finish 37 at the financial open beginning of April. more money this week than the previous eight cuts combined. It’s an expensive hole for Parkin from the penalty area off the tea. More than likely going to be dropping two. That might be her race run. 14th hole. really has been the boogeyman for Parkin this week. It is on Friday, double it on Sunday. to the final hole of the day, the controversial 18th. Jack Suon hook line coming from the fairway. 206 left. Start this out right. Try and work it off that right slope. No, not that slope, but it gets a big old kick. Not sure it’s possible to shank a hybrid, but that might have been a little too close for comfort against the Huzzle. Back to Jones. Critical pass saving putt on 40 up a long way left. Just I don’t think he needed to start it that far outside the hole. Watch the flyer. Watch the flyer. just hangs on. It’s going to be comfortable. Shinsil just in the uh the YouTube chat, the SPS golf live stream and there’s some interesting opinions about the pink colored sand in the bunker on 13. I’ve made my stance though. I think it looks frankly ridiculous heart-shaped bunkers as well. Traditional sand colored night for the caddies of the players as well. Ball happens to find the pink sand. It’s going to be discolored. Can get little spray paint on the bottom of your club as well. But that’s a fine shot for Kim Mju. It’s been a real ding-dong battle between Minju and Shinsil at top the leaderboard. So, and Jung Min trying to hand tough, but Parkin Kyouong slipping back after a rather disappointing double bogey at the 14th. hit this one fairly hard even though this is mostly downhill for looks like she’s putting across a hill. So, it’s going to spend a couple of extra feet in that tangly fringe. Just move aggressively from right to left once it gets on the green. Just got to manage your pace here. Start to come back from there. Not really the you want to leave yourself apart. Just above the hold. It’s going to be a nerve jangly one up at 17. T-shot safely negotiated for Sun Yu Jin. Jin just looking to set the clubhouse target and hope for the best. If she can get to double digits under P and that would be the target. 18 not exactly a birdie hold. So this is her last real good opportunity. Be hard to find a birdie from down there though. Tough front hole location on 17 today. Cuz this just right of Shinsil’s marker. Such a speed dependent, but this one will snap. Too hard. It’s just going to skate on by. That one never even high enough. Much rather be putting from there for par than where Shinsil is. and Sun 7 won the inaugural financial group championship back in April. Second KLPJ to win, but first as a professional. That’s how you keep it on the front section of 17. Fine shot to earn herself a little cushion at the top of the leaderboard again. Pretty look but pretty quick. Left left early. It’s not going to do the nerves any good. Stays in front. Hong Jung Min outside chance on 14. Jay Young. Great T-shot on 16. Doesn’t yield a birdie. Straight up misery there from Lee. Good puck for Belin Silva. Talked about the clumsy unforced error she tends to make. This is one she can ill afford. She still needs to start this sort of left edge to try and drip it in over the front of the cup. Okay, it was traveling with some pace. It’s safely in for Shinsil. Now long left on 14 is Kim Xi Hun scared the cup. Good try. See y the home hole moving slopes down towards the pin away from her from this angle and the down slope just to carry far enough. Nooping back to the clubhouse. The fivetime tour champion. So important your rookie season to number one play well enough to secure your playing rights for following year. That’s one. but also to gain experience to learn the golf courses that some of your peers who’ve been out here for longer expect and they know coming here for example to the High One Country Club year in year out. Every course has their own little intricacies and nuances that the players pick up on. It’s been a nice week for Kimchi here. Sunu Jin very slow up and over this rise then works down and away from her easy to judge those putts we come over tears and slopes has a wealth of experience and has managed that quite nicely. Well, we know where the badness on this 14th hole is. With this pin cut in the back left, it’s a very shallow little area. So, players do tend to look out a little right. Try and favor the more conservative approach, but that does leave you a sneaky downhill putt. Still just be sensible here. 20 30 ft right. Try and play a tight little draw. If it turns over, great. And it doesn’t not bring any trouble into the equation. The field in par three scoring this week. Bangil. That is brilliant. That’s exactly where she would have been looking off the tea. A fine shot that just gives Kim Mju something to think about. Look at what the player sees as you come up this par 515 in just a wood here. So pretty much telegraphing the fact that she’s going to play this as a threeshot hole. Jungu at the 18 off the right. See that breeze starting to really pick up over the last 15 20 minutes or so. It’s going to make the closing stretch particularly interesting. for the leaders. Bit of a disappointing bogey for Jang Su Yon. The closing round of 69 for her in her week at 7 under power alongside China’s Lee Shu Ying. Fabulous shot to control the distance and spin and be in this spot for a birdie. Kimman 7. He’s had a pretty awful day. Try and salvage something here with a birdie. It’s just been that kind of week. No one ever said golf was fair. Again, like I was saying on the 10th team, all she has to do is remind herself she’s still got the lead. Doesn’t need to go chasing pins. Someone’s going to have to put some birdies together, make a run at you. So, this one needs to be played out towards the right half. That was aggressive. That’s pretty good. definitely satisfied with that effort. But the rice smile indicates maybe she did know she possibly pulled that a fraction. It’s Mju by one over Shinsil and two over Hong Jong Min and Kim So Yi to the closing stages of the Haiwan Resorts Ladies Open here staged at Haiwan CC. Jung laid it up not particularly well into the rough on the 15th hole. Can’t quite tell what that line looks like. Only has 68 m in. She has crafted a gem of a golf shot. Beautifully managed from Ming Jong. Okay. So, there’s a birdie opportunity on 15 to just inch ever closer to Kimchu. Move too much brake wise from past this pin. Oh, brilliant birdie. She knows these opportunities do not come by every week. She is certainly making the most of some fine play today. Hong Jong men back on 15. Come steely uphill for your second shot. scampering down the right half of the fairway. really did play a stunning shot out of the right rough jump. Find a good birdie on the par five. So right now the question is what number do you have to get to win this championship? I’d say plays for take 13 in all honesty. 13 minimum should result in a playoff 14 wins it outright. Just the nature of the closing stretch here at high 1 CC seven by some small consolation. what’s been a rough weekend for her. Kimi, she can play these last three holes in two underpar. I think she’s in with a shout. Turned pro 13 years ago. Has never won on the KPJ tour. Right now finds herself in solo third within two of Kimju. He’s picking up straight into her face. Tough par 316. Flag all the way in the back. Just land it a little softer than she would have liked. Still, it’s pretty good. Just control her nerves. Get to the clubhouse. Jung men should have a good amount of spin on this with decent contact. It’s a bit of a finicky yardage 50 m. Just the fact that that second shot was playing downwind maybe that a little harder. That breeze is certainly starting to pick up. We are the Lju. I think she’s far enough left along this greenway. This putt maybe has a little bit less break in it, less influence off the slope than Shinsils who’s a couple of feet closer. So, a fairly straightish one from a pretty flat spot. Oh, she’s clobbered it. My word, that budding touch that was so good throughout the week is just starting to look a little questionable. Hung Jong ced an absolute flyer today. Birdied her first three holes, was four under through six, then just hit the skids around the turn. got it hitting back in the right direction after that birdie on 15 and she’s safely found the heart of the putting surface at 16. So Shinsil real chance here grab a share of the lead with Kim Nju this right to left putt. He’s left it short. Oh no my word. So Par does the scorecard no harm whatsoever. It’s the first slightly tentative stroke we’ve seen out of Bang this afternoon. 16 and Hun whose head must be spinning a little after the double on the 14th. flatter ball flight should help her penetrate into this breeze a touch easier than her playing partners. That’s a classy T-shot there from Park and Kyouong. One of the best we’ve seen on 16 today. This is a knee knocker for Kim Mju. Such a stressy little butt. You know, this was a Tuesday afternoon practice round. This would be a concession, but there are no concessions. Not on championship Sunday. This for par just to stay one clear solidly hold inju four holes left with a one-shot lead. Shun. This one’s got to slip a little right as it makes its way down to the hole. Awfully tentative putt there. Very poor. Now from the drop zone at the back of the 18th green is where we find Sun Yu Jin. Pretty basic little chip shot. Imagine that drop zone gets quite a bit of traffic throughout the course of the week. almost with the grand stand finish. So Eugen for second straight 68 this weekend. It’s downhill, but just got to give this one a run. Jung Min, it’s off low and right. Never scared the hole, unfortunately. Yeah, Kimman Sun 7 played a brilliant fairway wood or hybrid. This would be somewhat of a a consolation prize if she could birdie the hardest hole at high 1 CC. Just a little high. Pretty disappointing way to end the week seven. talented, decorated amateur career. 74 to end her championship in three under par. This is going to be a pivotal hole. Bar 515 with a good T-shot. Shinsil can reach into especially playing downwind. Doesn’t even need to hit driver with that three metal back a little on that. the club over left and I don’t think it’s going to be reachable from that left rough just breathing a sigh of relief just get some kind of little chippy fairway finding driver up the left side actually play this as a three shot hole Oh, there’s no additional pressure knowing you need a good T- shot. You just need a solid safe one. Looks pretty good. Leaning like it’s a touch right, but that’s absolutely no bother at all. up on 16. Jong facing this relatively slow putt up the tier. Wasn’t that slow, but goodness, she is badly misjudged that one. for back-to- back 68s on the weekend. You can blame a bit of a slow start Thursday for Sunu Jin. Started her week with an even past 72. Turned on the style on the weekend with 68 yesterday. She will match that score on championship Sunday. Good weekend for Sun Eugen another top 10. Kimo Yi looks for the unlikeliest of birdies at the par 31 16th good pace on it as well. April and June 2012. So he has bounced between the ALPGA tour and the dream tour, secondary tour in South Korea. Twice of the Dream Tour in 2013. Two runner up finishes on the KPJ tour as well. Both of them playoff losses 2018 and 2019 respectively after that stellar T-shot. converts for birdie. Good fighting spirit there from Parkun after that double on 14. She knew her race was pretty much run, but still battling away. Now that aerial view gives you an idea of what the players have to traverse their way up this 15th hole and he hit through Ewood off the tea and pulling that into the left rough. Ocean’s options are limited. Saving graces. The line looks pretty clean. But now it’s just a case of, you know, working out your numbers. Try and leave yourself a a full yardage in. Don’t want to push this one out to the right. So, just keep your spine angle here. Don’t go lifting out a bit. Hang the club face open. Okay, that’s good. Maximize control. That third shot coming out the fairway will help. Surely a layup for your championship leader as well. She’s run after it. Cameraman could barely get it in time. Caddy seems to be unbothered. So too Minju. We can only assume that that’s okay. Yeah, just in the left rough. could be a little bit more finicky than Shinsils. I wonder if Shinsil’s actually hit that 3-wood because the helping breeze meant that if she did hit a solid T-shot with driver, it might have run through the fairway. Regardless, she’s left it in a good position after two at the 15. again chasing Kim Minju who leads at 13 under par Kim soi on the 17th hole. She’s at 11 under perhaps just running out of holes. So two for Parkinong Hong Min Jung and Hong Jong Min. Got to run the cables. As unlikely as it may be for Hong Jong Mined into a fairly steep up slope, maybe took some of the sting out of that, but nonetheless, another excellent T-OT at the 16th hole. Almost aced it earlier in the week. Hong Jung Min Just look at the elevation difference between the green up on 15. You can see down at the bottom right of your screen the green at the 11th. I’ll call I1 CC for no reason. to that whole location on the right hand segment of the green. You are best served to have as much control as possible. Shinsel’s given herself the chance to do that playing from the fairway. Kimju is fine enough up where she may be able to just try and chase one around the corner of that green side bunker to see on the left hand side of your screen. Important shot coming up for Bangshin Sil. Need to apply the pressure. Is she too close to the green to create enough spin. You do come uphill slightly. Soft grip pressure here. Try and slip that right hand underneath the ball. catch as many grooves as possible. She looks like she’s hit that a little too hard, but she’ll get the spin required. Backs it up off the slope. That’s a gorgeous shot from Bang. Let’s ask Mu a question now. What have you got from that left rough? Such great technique on that shot. Had she knew she had to create speed and therefore spin. Use the back stop nicely. Now, MU. The problem here is if she just pulls this a little bit, she’s going to be on the wrong side of that slope. A bit of a testy putt. She needs to get the the crowd under control. They’re on the far side of the green. It’s all going to be in her visual line of play. I think she’s just got to play the percentages here. Carry the front edge of the green maybe by five, six yards. Just dump it on and try and have it chase into that segment where the pin is today. Don’t take on too much with this shot with plenty of height. That’s a good smart shot there. Leave it out to the left. So hard to control this and keep it on the front level of the green. Got to pitch it short. Hope for a nice skip. That’s what happens if you do carry it onto the putting surface. Quite the fireworks of her Saturday 66. Nice top 10 finish. Be her second of the season, first since the Ducan match play. Look at this. Hong Jong Min said she needed three. That’s one. She’s got the honor and a seven iron on the 16th T. interested up for finish. Likes it. Could have done with a six, but absolutely nothing wrong with that part of the green at this demanding power three. This is a little uncomfortable for Kim. So Yi might look to be just about okay, but just about guessing the release once this gets on the green. She’s trying to carry it onto the UPS slope. It needs to go. Oh, it has. My goodness, look at this from Kim Soi. What touch, but fabulous touch and a vital time in her tournament. Drop a small bucket of balls there. Not hit one that close again for the rest of the afternoon. Brilliant stuff from Kim. may not leave high 1 CC with a maiden victory but she will certainly take a lot of confidence into the second half of the season.
