Titus has just released updates to its four T-series irons. The T100, T-150, the new T250, and the Titus T350. And while there are many technologies and features that carry over from the previous generation that was released a couple of years ago, there are some significant differences that you’re going to want to know about. The way that Titles names its irons tells you a lot about who they were designed for and what they were designed to do. So, for example, when you get into the lower numbers, those clubs are going to have the shorter blade lengths, thinner top lines, more narrow sole, and be really much more control and feel oriented. The higher the number in the T- series, the more it’s going to be designed for forgiveness to try and increase and promote ball speed and really enhance stability. Okay, so let’s start with the updated T100. This club, with its name, as you cannot figure out, is going to have the shortest blade length, the most thin top line, the most narrow sole. It is designed for the best ball strikers out there. People who really put the biggest emphasis on control and feel and really want to be able to work the ball around the golf course. You’ll see this iron on the PGA Tour, the LPGA, the DP World Tour. It’s also something that uh would be appealing to elite amateur players, tournament level players, etc. Um, if you’re looking for forgiveness, there are going to be clubs that offer a lot more forgiveness and inherently are going to give you a lot more distance later on in the T-Series lineup. This club is completely forg. It has two large pieces of tungsten, one in the heel and one in the toe. So, that’s going to give you a little bit of a boost in the moment of inertia, the MOI, to increase stability without increasing the size. But again, it’s not going to go over the top when it comes to stability. This club is not going to save you all that much on mishits because this is a club that’s designed for players who want to work the ball. They want to be able to spin it, to be able to hit draws and fades, hit their shots higher and lower. A new feature that Titus has designed into the T100 as well as the rest of the T- series lineup for 2025 is that they’ve changed the grooves as you progress through the set. Once you get into the scoring club, 7 iron and above, the grooves in the in the T100 actually get a little bit deeper, and that is to be able to enhance and sort of maintain spin on your approach shots from different types of conditions. A big story throughout the T-Series for 2025 is going to be the retention of spin and control on your approach shots. Interestingly, Title listen to feedback from its tour staff and they have strengthened the loss in the T100 by one degree through the bag. So, players might get just a little bit more distance. If you’re a golfer who loves the look and the feel of this, but you do need a little bit more ball speed, Titles has also updated the T150 iron. Now, the T-150 and the T100 are constructed pretty much identically, except the T150 is going to be slightly larger in blade length and in topline. It’s going to give you a little bit more forgiveness because of that increase in size. And it also has slightly stronger lofts. Again, it’s going to be one degree stronger through the bag than T100. So, if T100 is something that really appeals to you, but you want more forgiveness, a little bit more distance, and just a little bit more help, then T150 might be the way to go. It’d be really easy to work with a custom fitter to blend T150s and T100s together. So, for example, going into T150 long irons, transitioning into short irons and the T100 is going to be a very popular play, I would imagine, at retail, as well as potentially out on the PJ tour. Now, when you transition from the T-150 into the new Titleless T250, this is where we’re going to see the most stark change in construction and in performance. Whereas the T-150 is a one-piece stainless steel construction here that’s really designed for feel and control, a little bit more of enhanced ball speed. When we start talking T250, this is now a hollow body golf club that is really designed for players who are looking for more ball speed, more forgiveness, more height. This club features a stainless steel face plate that has an L-shape. So, it wraps underneath the leading edge that helps to spread and pull the ideal hitting area, the sweet spot down a little bit. So it enlarges the sweet spot. And again, because of that hollow body construction, that face is going to flex a lot more efficiently than a solid body iron’s face would flex. So this club is going to give you a larger sweet spot. It’s also going to give you more ball speed. There’s also going to be, as we had in the T100 and the T-150, large slugs of tungsten that have been added into the heel and the toe area of the T250. Um, and you are going to get the progressive groove situation that we had in the other clubs as well. So the uh the grooves when you get to the 7iron and higher again get a little bit deeper to make it easier to maintain spin in different types of lies and situations as you’re hitting your approach shots. And finally we’re going to transition from the Titles T250 to the 350. Now the Titus T350 is going to be the largest club in the T series lineup. It is going to have the longest blade length, the thickest top line, the widest sole, the most offset. This is a true game improvement club. like the 250. This is a hollow body construction with an L-shaped face plate here. Again, so you’re going to get better performance on thin shots and balls hit low in the face. That hollow body construction is going to really help to promote more ball speed. And because it’s going to have large pieces of tungsten in the toe and the heel, you’re going to get a lot more perimeter weighting, a much higher MOI. This is the most stable and the most highflying club in the Titalist T series lineup for 2025. So, if you’re going to be in the market for some new irons in 2025, Titles with the T- Series feels it probably has an iron that’s going to be a great fit for you. [Music]
