And maybe Milei might be doing the same here at the first. Well, what a stunning turnaround she had to to her round yesterday. Got off to a really tough start, but pulled it back amazingly. Nasia Nadau, she’s playing her golf on the Ladies European tour where she’s 14th on their order of merit. So, that is very tidy. And she’s playing alongside Nelly Corder and Miy Lee. What a day. And Yuri Yoshida has played very well so far today. This down the hill. Is it going to get there? Wow. It’s a fourth birdie of the day. Yeah. nice win at the Mundy German European tour in Morocco in a playoff and is fourth on their order of merit and playing well here. Big stage for her only a few weeks ago, her last start. Started this down the left side. Did that get stuck up there? No, it’s coming back down. [Applause] Emily Pettison for a birdie at the second. Yes. So, having had those putting problems at the first, it’s going to be ruffles for a birdie at the second. Yes. Bounces back. Gino’s T-shot having B get that opening hole. Hello. Hello. [Music] Perfect alignment there, Allison. We have line right behind her and it could not have put lines down any better. Mary Lou Oh yes, nicely done that whole cut in the bowl on the left side of the green today. Keep those hands soft. [Applause] Steady start. Green in regulation. Couple of putts. Seven and nine as the reachable par fives. Seri Lee out of the bunker here at the second. [Applause] Should straighten up at the end. Oh yeah. What a speed is perfect, isn’t it? [Applause] Oh, is it going to be is it going to be the new car? No, not quite. But Caragana just dropped a shot at six and 32 of the first four holes. But that might be put behind her in style here at seven car again. A winner of the season opener. Fortunate bounce. Oh, okay. And she has made the cut at the AIG Women’s Open. Eagle three walks it in. Car gainer. It’s all about factoring in the hill really over these. That’s a wonderful up and down. Evianne can really really play with you. They have they feel very comfortable here. Same same with players from Japan too. A lot of lot of courses there on hillsides as well. Car gainer to continue this really good round. Get to four under for the day. And now just two back of the lead. Nice easy pull Grace Kim. Maybe a reaction Karen to what she saw from Somi Lee. Oh, I would think so. Just you just have to be so cautious of that false front. She managed okay there. Oh, looks like she had the line. [Music] It’s going to be a four. [Applause] And of course she does. That really just needs to get this to the end of end of the fringe with a touch of pace on it. She did that. Oh yeah. Wow. Good read there, Ali. This is DT Ashok with her second at the sixth. Is that going to gather into the bowl? Yes. Mhm. [Applause] Oh, wow. navigating all the slopes. Miy Lee for another birdie. It’s something that we saw. She struggled with her putter early yesterday. Was really able to flip it around on the closing stretch. We certainly seen some drama here in the pass location all the way in the top right here. Oh, did not call. Yeah, not to be. You look at the top of the leaderboard, Morgan. Four players there, all ranked outside the top 50 in the world. We know traditionally this is a golf course where you really got to be in the top 25 of the well top 20 to they should be right center after watching Somi’s and is and is in for a park. Can start this at the flag with the hanging line like you heard. Maybe even at a touch left of it. Let the light do the work. Try and find that ball back there. Oh yeah, what a fortuitous kick that was right there off this down slope at 132 yds. And she already has kind of a low penetrating ball flight. So a trickier pin for her. Oh, that’ll do the trick. Go ahead. How about those three? Cara Gainner for birdie at 10th to get within one. This has been this has been amazing. Grant is the low point. That’s how Hedgen missed it on the right side just a moment ago. M Grace made the cut on the number at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Then shot a 68, the low round of the day on Saturday. Prolific winner on the KPGA, now an LPGA winner. just off a down slope, ball below her feet, trying to get something underneath the golf ball there and everything sloping towards the lake. This is a tremendous shot, Richard. She made that look so much easier than it was. Six under today. And just birdie last two in a row as well. No bogeies on the card today. Setting herself up nicely for three in a row. significant amount of break to the right, especially early where her feet are feel like a tremendous amount. And then straightens up as it gets closer to the hole. What an eagle. Rio Teicada. Quick putt towards the lake. Mhm. And in. Wow, she gave that a lot. That was going to keep going, I think, for a while. But good stroke with Nelly nearby. Mi at the 10th, but not nearby on the scoreboard. Nelly just made double bogey at the ninth. There’ll be touch left of it. [Applause] Grace Kim splashing out but she is still right here to 12 the second shot for Cara Gainner. See just how far above the ball or above the her feet the ball is excuse me. pole location today on the left side. It’s quite accessible here on the top side of this 12th pole. You just go out there without without overthinking sometimes. Well, it’s working for Cara Gaina without the wrist issue. And Miy Lee, well, expectations would have been high given what she did at last major and I think she’s living up to them so far. That’s a lovely shot in there. three in her last four holes. Yes, Emily, come on. Move it on up to seven under. Tied for eighth. You can get so focused on the double break and you forget about the speed. And she’s talked about the pace of her putts and wanting to improve that hole where Lahi W is working hard. This is her fourth after driving it in trouble at the tenth. How about this Lahi? That keeps her inside the top 25. And we’re keeping an eye on that. She certainly is with a tour card. I’d imagine that Grace continues to gain experience putting herself in these positions in major champion off of where she is, but then everything else will want to take it left. She’s trying to come from 10 behind. It’s hard that she’s pro and yet Lotty’s two years older than her. Gainer here at the tough 13th. Tidily done. And what’s ahead of her here? Anything over the ridge is all she’s thinking about. Yeah, I just chunked it. came in a little shallow there. Sami Lee back at nine taking a big practice swing. That’s because there’s a lot of grass around this ball. This is high tariff. I like that play. I like the style. She just didn’t carry it quite far enough. She was trying to take that big slope out of play. Up at the 13th playing with the two superstars, Nastasia Nado of France a moment ago. Oh, wee wee. I mean, what a show she’s putting on. This one up there. If it goes in, it’s a bonus. Look at how much break she’s playing on this one. And give it enough. Now has left herself to the front part of the divot. Play it back in your stance a little bit. And that’s that putt that we’ve seen as a popular spot today from to think about as well. Not bad. Kind of jumped on her a little bit, but impressive to get it on the green from there. You could tell by her reaction. Third shot the par 515 for Cara Gainner. should give the read, not get one. Cara Gainner to make it a four-way tie at 15. Had a little bit of left break to it. Yes. Come to get you to 12 in the second for Gabby Ruffles. just two back and Gabby is going to be one back. Similar to the putt she had on the previous hole. Almost the same amount of break. Look at this. Oh, a better result. And that would have tied the lead. Right at it from Somi le. [Applause] That’s an excellent leave right there. Just Oh yeah, she lipped out at 11. She birdied 12 now. Well, she’s given herself an uphill cut at least there meanly. Not the rules to your advantage. I would imagine she didn’t even realize that she could get that kind of a break. It’s not that players don’t read this notice to competitors unless you get into a situation like this and you might need to look at it. And look at this shot, Ally. Can you believe it? Standing on the cart path, even if they’re forced to play it left-handed. So, just a decision by the LPGA rules team that is really working out in Somi’s favor. Grace is second. Yeah. started straight at it from 143. And then at the 18th, the second shot for Cara Gainner. What a way this could be to end just a sensational round of golf. Really covered that one nicely off that slope with the ball so far above her feet. Excellent distance control. Well, Cara Gainner has this for Eagle to take the lead by two. That should be enough for her to shoot 64 and take the lead for the moment. mentioned earlier that uh we really haven’t seen players from the ladies European tour break out and win a major on the LPTA tour. Well, the Australians are very much gathered near the top of the leaderboard. Here’s Ruffles. Awkward angle to this left hole location trying to use the slope to get it close. Oh, how about that spin? Look at this. How’d that not go in? I think uh she’ll keep it low enough naturally anyway. Yeah, she did through those trees. Loads of green to work with, but this is bounding on a touch. Meanwhile, Miy Lee looming large third at the 18th. You have to think an up and down here and she is just primed for another major title tomorrow. Huge leap for Lahi last week. Yeah, the big side story that one. Here’s part of the main story though. Co-leader Ruffles into 17. Another very nicely played shot. Bang on, Morgan. aggressive play. You mentioned her aggressive nature earlier. Hasn’t had a real look in a while. You know, good six, seven holes. Would love one here. And she’s been fighting. She’s been fighting hard and grinding hard, but this an opportunity. Slow putt up the hill, breaking to the right at the end towards the lake. And we said she’s got a flare for the dramatic. more drama. It’s been a long wait, so this is going to mean good swing. Nice and confident. That’s one of the best she’s made in a while. Just that touch of grass made it come out quite fluffy. Now all three players in the group are going to have almost the exact same putt. Oh, she got underneath the ball. Is it going to get all the way down there? Not quite. But really an impressive performance so far from Gabby. That to take the lead into off the left previous. I think if we go back to her. Incredible. She can play whatever she wants as long as it’s a wedge, which she’s pulled. Touch of help off the right. Promising. Just creeps towards the top of that ridge there. I think it’ll settle in that position. Not a lot you could do right there. Fairly well done. So hard to control with that uneven stance.

  1. Considering women's golf is normally dominated by Asian and American players Gainer has had a fantastic showing also bearing in mind her wrist injury. I'm waiting to see if England's new little star Woad gets the points she needs for a PGA card. She is playing along side the best and holding her own without being phased , apparently not sure if she will turn pro yet but that's her decision , brilliant closing putt on the 18th . Sad about Hull and wish her the best but was getting concerned about Kim , kept coughing and hope she's OK. I'm no expert but that course don't look that hard but the greens look treacherous judging by the trouble a lot of the putting is suffering from. Very tight at the top and going to be interesting tomorrow.

  2. Would you agree that the LIVE coverage is shoddy?
    *Not enough players being covered.
*Some substandard camera work, especially covering approach shots.
*Generally, it looks like they have the 'B-TEAM ' on the job & not good enough for a major.

  3. These American commentators men and Women should commentate with a Covid mask on..this could help ::: and why must they shout and scream when commentating : presumably because they are Americans and they are in the majority egoistic and try and outdo the others on their team ..

  4. Well it's all set up for an exciting finish with ten or more players in position to win it including a pair of dark horses Cara Gainer and Nastasia Nadaud ! I'm hoping for one of the Australian girls to clinch it but this course is beauty and the beast rolled into one and luck both good and bad will play a part.

  5. It is borderline impossible to convince yourself that this is a major, poor coverage and the crowd every year is poor because it is in the middle of nowhere. Moving day of a major, very difficult to believe. I love watching women's golf, but they should rebrand this and the Chevron as it cheapens the game, this is below the chevron which is miles below the three worthy majors. I reckon the HSBC is above this and Chevron.

  6. No coverage of Casandra Alexander despite her being on the top of the leaderboard for a while??? Poor form coverage team :((

  7. Jessica Korda is another one who needs some coaching before she gets behind the microphone with the broadcast team.
    * Hey, there, Jessica, you're talking to a global audience, not whispering to your cat, so speak up!!!
