[Music] We move now to day four of this second test between the Westies and Australia. This is the match summary. Australia ahead by 254 runs. The Western still needing three wickets to get that opportunity to bat and to chase the target. Sets up an intriguing day’s play this fourth day. First ball day four. Another run at it. So West Indian feelers and bowlers will be under a little more pressure. You can sense that Australia has that intent to add runs to this lead and add it in quick time. Edge. And there is the wicket. Jamar Joseph getting away movement to Pat Cummings and the ideal start for the West Indians. Couldn’t have asked for a better start. Alex Ker off strike first ball. The wicket of the Australian captain. Second ball of the day. Nicked off to Shay Hop. Shamar Joseph again the Aussie slayer. Cummings gone for four. Australia 222 for eight. Powerfully struck down the ground. Will it be firm enough to get four? Yep, it is powerful enough. That’s close. That’s close. No, says the umpire. He’s not convinced. Jamar Joseph pushes his captain to take the review and I’m sure they’ll take it. Review taken. The ball is very close to the bat. Can we have alter please? Just keep it going. Please keep it going. Flat line as the ball passes the bat. Ball tracking please. [Music] Pitching outside off. Impact in line. Wicket hitting. Thank you. I’ll go back to Adrien onfield. You need to change your decision. That was expected. Now that we can follow more of the lowering of the bounce on this surface. So Hawkeye just confirming the ball going on to hit the stumps. And there is another wicket for Shamar Joseph. The important wicket of Alex Kerry. Solid 30 from him. It’s 234 for nine. Very very orthodox drive for four. Any of the top order would be pleased with that shot. Oh, he pitches it up and hits the stumps. Bang on target. And that’s the end of the inning. Stark is raced off to the pavilion while Hazelwood saunters off. There’s goals Mitchell Stark. He’s eager to get into it. So Josh Hazelwood, the final Australian batter to be dismissed and the middle stump got rocked back. So yes, he would have liked Fifer, but I think the overall picture is get Australia out for as minimal runs as possible. That’s been achieved. It does mean though that the batting now comes under the spotlight because the series is on the line with the West Indies needing 277 to keep things alive. Let’s play. Huge shot on field call. So important to get that. They’ll have a conversation. The opening batter is Australia celebrate. Now he does review onfield call so important to get pitching outside of impact in line. Wicket sitting. Thank you. I’ll go back to Aden onfield. Aden, you can stay with your decision. You’re on screen now. You can signal out. Yeah, the original decision was out and the review has also upheld that decision. West Indies lose their first. John Campbell goes without scoring. Edged and through the cordon fortuitous boundary to end the over for Karti and they’re celebrating 11 for one. Oh, out outside edge. Alex Kerry does the rest. He had to play the length a little bit shorter. And this delivery didn’t come into the righthander. Just held its line. Lucky for Stark and the Australians, they found the outside edge. Casey Carti will be very disappointed without innings. 10 from 20. It’s 15 for two. Oh, great start from Brandon King. Cover drive for four. Oh, what another beautiful shot. So very impressive start from Brandon King. 24 for two. Another beautiful shot. I tell you what, this guy can play. 29 for two. [Music] Gone. He strikes for Australia. Bo Webster in his first over. Was that a delivery he had to play at? That was uh fifth stump so to speak. So no need to play at that one. Craig Brathweight but he departs for seven and it ends a disappointing test for him. 29 for three. Cleaned up. That ball change works immediately for Pat Cummings and Brandon King who was looking good has to depart. Magnificent delivery from Cummings. Another pitch of a delivery from Pat Cummings hitting the top of for any young bowler. This is what you aspire to be able to do consistently on the stroke of lunch. Ball change, success for Australia. Seven wickets all told in the first session, four for Australia, and they’re six wickets away from a series win. 33 for four. Yeah. And all the players make their way off the field. And that wicket falling just on the cusp of lunch. And this is where it’s left us. West Indies a mammoth 244 to win with only six wickets remaining. You have to think is the Aussies game to lose. Jensen’s play. [Music] First ball after lunch. and starts positively. Now off the mark with a boundary she hope [Applause] over the top hitting that on the up. She hope making contact on this occasion. So he finishes the overweight boundary. It’s 44 for four. Ariel for a bit. The result is a good one for Sha Hope and the West Indies. He’s taking his chances. That’s a fine stroke. An over pitch delivery and properly treated by Rustin Chase in the air. should be comfortably taken by Hazelwood. He’s so good at getting wickets extra bounds, not able to contend with it. And that attacking mindset and approach, well, he has to go. Shay Hope on that occasion was trying to go over mid wicket. A ball that probably may have bounced a little bit more. Simple catch to Josh Hazel, but into those big hands that ball disappears. So Sha Hope, well, he tried. He really did. Made 17 of 25. It’s now 71 for five. That’s going to be four in control of that one. Rustin Chase and something for them finally to celebrate and to make some noise about 78 for five. Yeah, that’s well played. Very well played by Rustin Chase got the length and just drifted into the pads and helped it quite nicely for six. Huge shout might be going down. The umpire doesn’t think so. Rustin Chase reviews it immediately. He’s a little bit upset with himself. Ching outside off impact in line. Wicket some call. Thank you. I’ll go back to Richard on field. Richard, you can stay with your decision. Yeah, you’re on. So little bit unlucky there. Rost Chase that ball just clipping the stumps. Promising innings comes to an end for 34 off just 41 deliveries. Mitchell Stark gets a breakthrough. 86 for six. Clean strike from Alzari Joseph. He’s not going to hang around. If the ball is in his zone, he’ll go after it as he has done on this occasion. [Music] gone again long enough to go over the boundary line. For a moment you felt Constus in the backward square was in with a chance. Two sixes to end the over. 99 for six now. That’s close. That’s close. And that’s given once more. Another delivery appeared to be angling into the rightander. Doesn’t look like he’s going to take the review. Justin Graves. So that’s another wicket for Australia. And further trouble now for the West Indians. Didn’t bounce a lot. It’s one of the reasons that Stark has come round the wicket with the absence of swing from over the wicket with a new ball. He went round the wicket quickly. So he’s able to attack the stumps, occasionally take it past the outside edge and they’re just a great team, a great bowling unit. Graves goes for two. 99 for seven. Aari Joseph goes again miscued this time and dismissed. [Applause] And this is what I was speaking about when he hit the six of Nathan Lion down the ground in Lion’s previous over. He did it in the first innings as well. And Lion would have said, “No problem. Keep going. If you want to keep going, I’ve got my guys down in the deep there. And if you mish hit it, you’re gone.” He is gone for 13. 103 for it. [Applause] Slug swept leg side. We saw that in the first inning from Shamar Joseph. He covers this one nicely. [Music] Beautiful shot on drive. [Music] And that’s another nice shot from Shamar Joseph down the track on that occasion. hitting over cover takes him past 100 runs for the series. [Music] Out. Good catch. Bo Webster moving away to his right. Very well balanced and entertaining innings of Shamar Joseph comes to an end. Yeah, slow and wide. He almost dragged that from off the pitch. Can see Alex K’s feet there touching the white line. And Bo Webster, good catch. Eyes on it all the way into his hands. Almost straight back. End of another cameo. 24 for Shamar Joseph. 131 for N9. The West Indies. Yeah, Nathan Ryan very square. So that ball would have gone to a a normal fine leg. Four more runs to the total. And that’s a decent hit, too. Straight down the ground. The sixes keep coming. Get it, guys. Get it, guys. Oh, Nathan Lion trying to get back and taken. Very good catch by Nathan Lion. And that is it. Australia win the second test here in Grenada. Go 2-0 up and the margin 133 runs and win the series. It’s been a a very comprehensive effort. Too good for the West Indies. Little bit of flight, little bit of loop. Jayen Seals trying to repeat the dose of early in the over taking an easy catch to seal an easy victory team Australia. So, Nathan Lion finishes with three wickets and the Australians have wrapped it up in day four here in Grenada. So, they’ll celebrate tonight and then try and regroup and make it 3-0 in Jamaica. Day night test there. So, Australia too good again. 286 in their first innings. The West Indies 253 in reply. Thought Australia in their second innings were very very impressive to muster up 243 on a deteriorating pitch here in Grenada. And in the end just way too good for the West Indies. All out 143. Stark three wickets. Lion three wickets and Australia win by 133 runs and lead the series 2-nil.

The Joseph's are taking this test match seriously
West Indies blowing is good but there is no batsman in their team. Street player will play better than this West Indies team.
Bad batting need to improve ❤❤❤
They need discipline
Shamar Joseph standing like a lone warrior for west indies in this test series
T20 league in all over the world distorted the west indies team.
N lyon need 2 wickets to go past Mcgrath 563 test wickets record
M starc need 5 wickets to go past 400 test wickets mark
P cummins already have 307 test wickets
J Hazlewood need 8 wickets to go past 300 test wickets mark
What a legendary bowling unit 😱
West indies need to stop playing test cricket n go plant yam ,they not winning shit
The talent pool in the West Indies is at its poorest and i don't see it getting any better, they keep recycling over and over again
Nice umpiring for aus😂😂
Let's go Australia 🇦🇺!
rubbish park type wickets that you get in england, low uneven bounce. west indies need to fix up and invest in this pitches!
Another test defeat folks !
The series from a Windian standpoint, simply put is the Seales and S. Joseph show.
Every one else needs to take a long hard dispassionate look at themselves and sharpen things up quite quickly.
As we fast approach the centenary year of our cricket, next year ie 2028, our stock and standing in all three formats of the game is gradually being reduced to something that is akin to chaff.
This worries me greatly.
Too many promises and false dawns for comfort is simply not cutting it, so the personnel involved in all aspects need to readily adhere to the old adage that says "by your fruits you shall know them". Let that sink in !
I don't understand why the WI have to hit the ball in the air all the time. Must have been about 5 caught in the deep. Lack of application. Whats wrong with noodling around a few singles. Whittle down the target. Play for partnerships …
Either hit fours or rotate strike dont keep hitting sixes only😅😅wi advice
Kraigg In coolers with a helmet. It's his bad attitude
I
Something do with the all batsman
Wi batting 🍌 wi bowling 😈🔥👑
Send the whole West Indies team to play domestic cricket in india
Pathetic batting by windies
A captain of a ODI TEAM , has to be a allrounder. Ben Stokes is ideal with pace & bowl..Let's recall ours Sir Kapil Dev.
Cummins, Starc and Hazlewood doing hard work while Lyon getting free last wkts in both the matches 😂😂
Batters put water on good bowling effort
Maybe the ICC need to Spare West Indian blushes, and stop putting them in tests against the top countries. They struggle in the test format and should be matched with countries such as Bangladesh, Zimbabwean, Afghanistan and Ireland. West Indies need to stop living off of past glories and realise, the bowlers are trying but their batsmen may be the worst in all the 12 test playing countries. They seem to struggle 😂making more than 220 runs per innings, therefore everything is weighed on the bowlers. It is embarrassing when your most talented batsman is actually a bowler (Shamar Joseph). The players mindset is geared towards white ball cricket, 20/20 cricket, not the highly skilled specialist demands of test cricket.
Believe me they will rise soon!
They have batting ! They will rise and rule! Love from Indian
Thanks for posting
LOVE FROM LAHORE 🇵🇰
they get almost no cricket still no one shows up to watch in stadium lol
Windies have a properly good seam attack but the batting is just tragic. Must be so frustrating for those bowlers
Windies desperately need to run singles
😊
