And as Albertson withdraws last minute as ISCO Championship begins in Kentucky, the 2025 ISCO Championship teed off Thursday morning at its new venue, Hersbborne Country Club in Louisville, but not without an early surprise. PGA Tour pro Anders Albertson withdrew just before the first round began with no official reason disclosed. William McGurt took his place in the field, teeing off at 2:11 p.m. Eastern time. Alternates Robert Streb and Sun Kang also withdrew prior to play. Chan Kim made an early statement with a five under front nine while Trevor Conn, Matt Nesmith, and Thomas Rosener followed closely at four under. The tournament featuring a full 156 player field marks a new chapter for the Kentucky Stop on the PGA Tour, drawing strong local interest. Meanwhile, over in Scotland, world number one Scotty Sheffller posted a three under 67 in windy conditions at the Scottish Open, sitting three shots off the lead.
