hey guys welcome back to Modern golf I hope you are having a great day and even better week today we’re talking about one of my favorite brands in golf bags and that’s the esque echo this is the brand new stlk where the numbers are 14 this is a golf bag like you have never seen before so let’s talk about what makes this golf bag so unique but also really what makes it so great and yes I think think it’s that great of a golf bag first let talk about the specs and this is when you’ll the complaints will begin 8 lbs not a light bag we explain why right around 36 in tall has some very cool features that I really haven’t seen on a bag like this maybe ever um and certainly one main feature that I know I haven’t seen on a standbag yet uh let’s talk about first the 14-way top and yes it is the ultra quiet kind of put your clubs in you never hear them rattle again so 14-way to again your putter is made uh to kind of fit in this one I’m going to show you guys how this system works and I just grabbed one of my new testing wedges so we’ve done this bag before it kind of in the t- loock before but I want you to hear this so what happens is it clicks in so then your clubs literally do not come out they don’t move my guy Steve is still testing our cart bag one uh from a couple years ago it’s held up great we just had a conversation about what would he changed not a whole lot so let’s talk about the silencer type system I know Ogo has kind of their version um this is ask echo’s version I don’t know whose came first I’m not getting into that world I don’t know and legalities I don’t care um again absolutely love this top if you’re a guy who doesn’t want to have their forged iron drattle like I don’t um but also have a very cool system where as you can see you can hang them upside down this is the setup I like I go driver putter 3-wood hybrid four 5 6 7 8 n pitching Gap and then depending 52 5660 or 5860 or whatever your system is but 14-way Club again really works wonders I want to show you some very unique features with this golf bag cuz a lot of golf bags don’t have these features besides the top I know the top is probably what they’re selling this for but it has some very unique features as well let’s talk about the legs uh aluminum legs very large feet I like the color correspondence with this blue and gray it’s a very cool colorway there is a lockout here the one thing I would like to see here is a little different material from ask Echo uh because this will be a muddy mess if you’re walking with this golf bag I don’t know if people are it’s an 8B bag but again I I don’t get into that conversation with people regarding the weight I show you the mechanism here so you can see it we’ve seen this in a few other brands so you can see how that works so pretty cool let’s talk about these pockets and all this stuff going on let’s start at the top uh with your velcro strip for your golf glove or what have you there’s also this and I’m not sure what you would use this for it’s connected on here and obviously you could take this off so you you’d feed your umbrella through here and then through these strap systems full metal uh clip here which I like this is great for I use it for my glove or to clip on like a speaker or what have you anything you want your keys let’s talk about these Pockets here the large pocket here has and I’ll take pictures of this so you guys can see it a number of internal pockets as well some mesh netting in here I’m trying to see if there’s anything else that we missed no so that’s the large pocket there are kind of unique PS uh on this golf bag little pocket here’s your valuables pocket um not the it’s microfiber line it’s not the greatest microfiber but it’s fine it’s not going to hurt anybody’s feelings there’s also a pocket in here that’s just kind of an openpr and cavernous pocket um so pretty straightforward here with this we roll this guy over thees Echo is printed on there uh the handle is kind of stiff but soft handle it’s a fabric and it’s a mesh on the inside again I’ll put pictures up their strapping system is really good [Applause] it’s it’s again color coordinated uh a little engineered mesh back no pull tabs or anything to get it on your shoulders like we’ve seen in some bags but again overall pretty good this is one of the most unique Pockets I’ve ever seen in golf so this is their magnetic pocket but what they’ve done and I’ll zip this guy around is they have a zip closure and also a magnet a magnetic closure um which I thought was kind of interesting and it tells you hey dummy by the way this is a magnet I like this for those those people who are um worried about something falling out of here it’s a great way to secure it so I I don’t mind that at all there are a little things on here for golf teas if you want to put your golf teas on there I don’t know many people that do but maybe maybe you do this is all cooler line which is a unique pocket they have cooler line right in here so you can see and then there’s a little pocket above it um where you can put your golf balls or te’s or what have you I actually put my golf balls in here when I use this like last week um just cuz it was easier but you could put them in here just as fine this is a huge do I have my bottle of water here this is a huge pocket I mean you can fit one two three I would I’m literally saying five or six bottles of water in this pocket so really big big cavern again and if you don’t know what it is it’s a one with a little uh snowflake on there let you know but there’s yeah this little pocket’s kind of the Hidden one in here so what I would do is get these zippers out of the way then you can see it a little better these are not water guard zippers they’re just kind of standard zippers pull handle here to get in and out of your trunk or on a cart or what have you is is fine it’s adequate the same nylon strapping as everywhere else they do put their logo on here imagine that um I would like to see a little bit of rubber uh protection on here to kind of stop it from sliding in the parking lot but again I’m I’m nitpicking at this point we flip this guy over um one of the things I talk about almost in every bag review is why can’t Brands put their rain Hood underneath his hip head hello they’ve done it so ping is the only one I’ve ever seen do that before let’s see if I can even open it there it is so you zip it on there and there’s your rain Hood to me that’s all a rain Hood should be I know some Brands we do the rain hoods a little bit much um padding is really good I think you’d be surprised on how good of a pad that ISS even without the rain Hood in it it’s really good there is a place here for a Sharpie or a crayon however you mark your scorecards two zippers in here just one big open cavernous pocket plenty of space and I like this pocket a lot this a magnetic pole with a valuable so if you want to put your uh put your Rolex in here or your Omega uh in here you can certainly do that as well what do I think about this golf bag What’s My overall thoughts I like this golf bag a lot we’ve done a lot for ask Echo again I’ll put pricing up here now uh I do have a coupon code standing with any ask Echo golf bag so if there’s a bag you want maybe it’s not this one maybe it’s the higher end ones maybe it’s a card bag you can use that for any I think it’s 15 or 20% off any golf bag these guys also are always running promotions um I like this bag a lot again the original t-lock system uh which we did on a card bag a year a couple years ago already wow um I I thought it was a little gimmicky I’m not going to lie but once we used it and tested it um we came to find it was really good uh and my guy Steve uh who gets a lot of things to test as we go um he’s still using that Echo tlock bag so he likes that golf bag a lot for a lot of reasons and again I think once you use this system where you actually can um and I’ll try to do it again here I have anything longer and I’ll shut up so you can see and hear it so you put the Club in and you can audibly and then once it’s in again you can like literally like and these clubs don’t move so I really really enjoy this uh again I love their colorways I put their colorways up here again you do get used to pulling clubs in and out it’s a conversation Steve and I have all the time um I think this is one of the most unique golf bags in the golf bag space in 25 you know all these things I nitpick about for all these different brands these guys have kind of said like okay you want a rain Hood uh inside your your hip pad we’ll do that I I really like this and for those who don’t want um the the imitation leather uh bags this is the kind of bag that I would think a lot
