it took Windam Clark six days to apologize for absolutely destroying two locker room doors of the US Open and his apology wasn’t even that great windham’s apology was basically like “Sorry and stop asking me about it,” which is not the way to go when you’re a US Open champion and you caused this big of a mess at a US Open there were even rumors out there that he was banned from Oakmont entirely which is that’s true that totally makes sense now in his defense now hold it hold it in his defense there could have been a long conversation that he had with Oakmont that he doesn’t want to get into publicly i’m totally cool with that but either way this public apology was not great i mean this guy actually destroyed two locker room doors he fully went through his rounds signed his scorecard probably did some media too and then went back and intentionally threw this temper tantrum blow up like this during a major championship that he won two years ago needs a little bit more of a sorry and I want to move on let’s take a look at an example of a good apology from one stud Adam Hadwin who absolutely decked the sprinkler head during this Valbar championship not only did he apologize for the damages he paid for the repairs and also bought the entire maintenance team lunch now in my mind if you do something like this we’re cool cuz you’re being respectful to the people that you inconvenience to fix a problem that you made i’d say Windoms is way worse given the setting so that’s really unfortunate to
