Well, hello. Good afternoon and welcome to day three coverage from the High1C. We’re at the highest topographical golf course in all of South Korea for one of the most popular events on the KPJ tour. Kjiu the defending champion and the lady who’s won both her KPJ tour titles at this very venue son bidding for a fourth straight top 10 finish here all safely through to the weekend. It was Kim Mju who took a comfortable threeshot lead into the weekend stages of this championship but my word there have been some birdies made on the front line. What was I telling you? Shindai in desperately needs a a good week to try and prop herself up the order of merit heading into the second half of the season. That’s a nice early foul there for Shin. So lovely battle back and forth yesterday on that back nine between Park and Kim Jupling. a couple of groups apart but it was a late surge of birdies from Park Minim G that saw her grab the final spot in the last group on Saturday. Kimman Sun7 well had a solid start yesterday and just peted out and then frustratingly bogey her final hole. Kim Suji pieced together a fine round of 69 to move herself into contention getting into the weekend. She’s at 500 for the moment. a chance to better that lovely shot into seven. This right to left for birdie slack a little pace back up to 11 and one got off to a hot start with three straight birdies early in around but just dropped a shot to work really hard remember was four over par after nine holes on Thursday a real touch of class to battle through and make the halfway cut shots the spare 69 yesterday now inside the top 20 for his second victory of the season. Bangil bunkered off the tea but played a beautiful long iron shot from the sand. Now is this for birdie to move into a fourway tie for second place. More movement in this for just bogey the sixth gets that shot straight back. No shortage of support for Bangshinil this afternoon and no shortage of birdies on that front line. Eagle puck came up a little shy for Kim Sun7 last 24 hours you have to say has been pretty much ice cold for Kim. Now Hun was a very solid ground just derailed by a couple of late bogeies yesterday. Park horrible start. Took a double at the second but has found a couple of birdies at three and five and has given herself a reasonable look there on the seventh. to the what looks like the 10th hund making the move many expected up to five under park just one bogey on her card very congested first page of the leaderboard player in this championship’s history to successfully defend the title so in 2023 three. It’s been a welcome return to some form for Parkman Gi. He’s only missed one cup this year. He has three top 10 finishers. Close to the lip with enough flatter ball flight. He had to lean back, try and add a little loft and pick that out of the trap cleanly. It’s a very nicely played shot. Number one here at I1C. Not many places where MJI hasn’t left with a trophy. Come days in. 19 victories the last four years on the KBJ tour. She has some record. Mchu, another player who’s just starting to find a little form. Got that breakthrough victory earlier in the season at the Dukshin EPC Championship. sort of dwelled in the in the mid pack for most of the last couple of months. He’s got five iron and leaning like this might be out of fractured right. It’s okay lead coming into the weekend. Pretty good front runner, but she does put herself in these positions. We saw her convert that 54 lead at the Tukin EPC Championship. Surprised to see there hasn’t been a multiple winner so far 2025. That changed this week. He got her first major title back in May. KPG championship from Jung Min 3 yesterday morning. She will have that to cut into Kim Ju’s lead. That’s a four under for her around to the eighth punch sil levers really creates great width all throughout the swing. I do like the tempo. In recent years they smoothened everything out. generates a lot of speed, don’t get me wrong. Just feels so much more controllable these days. Miy the front of the 73 wants to go left early and then just bend right as it gets to the cup. See, looks like it wants to keep turning and just straightens up. But nice weight on that one. Good job. I say at the top of the show, highest elevated golf course throughout the land of morning calm CC this championship once again. Nice to see a decent little crowd out following the final. Why wouldn’t you? Some serious star power here. The least likely of the three happens to be leading the championship with an opportunity to extend here. What can you notice about having watched Kim Mju play over the last couple of days? Her pace control on her putting has been very good. Never really had Too many stressy putts for pie. That’s what you like to see when leading a championship. One of our newly minted major champions make an impression. She can scorching front line of 32 closes the gap to just two shots to Kim Mju. Thank you. Get yourself into red figures for the first time today. A healthy amount of right to left movement in this putt. Do your best to pick out the right line. Send it out high enough. We’ve seen so many snap low. Got to hit it. Actually hit it. Oh. Good try though from Shinsil. Kim son seven I said earlier on the putter really has let her down crafted plenty of excellent opportunities for herself throughout the week and to be languishing at four under par feel she’s deserve more chance to get to five there on the 12th the aerial view of this par 38 eight. See that flag today? It’s cut as it was for the first two rounds with that front segment of the green. Auto really doesn’t come into play here. It takes a real stinker to come up short. There’s not enough breeze where if you pull it left, you’ll be in the penalty area, but it’s a pretty big target this green on eight. expect to see three reasonable chances for birdie from the final group coming up particularly with that hole on the left hand side. All three players do like to work the ball right to left especially parting right online. The soft bounce has to be said. Now Shinsil and really open up the shoulders here on nine. Dog legs a little from left to right, but she’s got the power to cut the corner. If you do that, really shorten up your second shot to this green. Only bogeies on the back nine. Only bogeies all day yesterday. Came on the two par threes in the back nine. And both because of clunky T-shots. Solid contact there, but she’s giving this a long look. All right. Safety to the heart of the green. Doesn’t mean to go flag hunting here. Not with that twoot loop. Just got to get the feet right. No real issues. Yeah, just for her sanity, this has got to drop. Well, good birdie there for Kim Sun7. incher ever closer. Just with how densely packed this leaderboard is, you still feel that any number of players break out and straight together some birdies. They’d be right up there challenging Kim Mju. Looks like Choy Mining the turn. Well, for those who may be new to the KPJ tour, this young lady is known as the autumn queen because all but one of her victories have come in the second half of the year. She’s starting to find some form round into form I should say. Kim Suji. I noted the vast improvements she’s made with a wedge game in the last couple of months. That wasn’t a good strike. Still, she’s not missing greens. Every now and then he used to see Biden still miss a green with just a full wedge in hand. She has a lot of them with that power. The excellent pace batting of Kim Mju earlier on put to the test here again on the eighth. Once again, she is up to the task. Looks a little like Jim Yuri making the turn. She’s got some good idea of what this part’s going to do around the hole. Just watch Kim Ningju. bit weward off the 10th team on Jung Min standing on the cat path electing to not take a drop because you that would leave her with a very uncomfortable lie sound a little heavy but just clears the green side bunker. It’s going to go scuttling along towards the middle of the green. Absolutely. Could have been a whole lot worse with that Eric T-shot. Now Park, she starts making puts of these length. She is dangerous. Not on this occasion. Shinsel little bit clunky with the contact but in the correct pocket of this green but should come a little up the hill and move to the left. Fresh off that birdie at 12. Kimmanson 7 operating out of the short grass again at the 13th. Number one on the KPJ tour as an amateur of the V-Mix Championship couple years ago. So no stranger to the spotlights. Give me some G. Watch that left hand. She likes the line. She’s got this very unique reverse fist pump. Not going to see it there. Squad has a bit of an opportunity. Feature group make their way up to the ninth. You can see that general bend of the fairway going a little from left to right. Yum. I don’t think can take the Bangshin sill line challenge that right side has added some yardage in the offse park. Yeah, that’s sensibly done in the green. Just want to tidy this one up. Yeah, well done. making steady progress on moving day only on six. Mi will have to start this up the right hand side of the fairway. A much more pronounced right to left ball flight than most of her peers. Wonder if that’s just stayed in the fairway or crept into the rough. There’s the tempo looks a little bit slower for Kim and Wonder if just the lower body got a little lazy there. Wants to go and tug that into the left bunker. She’s far enough back where the lips shouldn’t be a problem. But yeah, interesting to keep an eye on that tempo as the round progresses this Saturday. now. Lengthy one for Jung Min on 10. Working off that little tier, which should kick it right early. It’s got to go. That one’s got to keep stretching. Little knee knocker for bar. Poor wedge shot you have to say from Kim Sun7 at 13. Let’s put my roll up a little rise and just bend to the left once it hits that plateau. All right, cool. Thank you. Now go up to the 18th hole and it has been a very nice day for Wang Min Jong. Six under power for her round. Three off the lead. back. It isn’t going to bother you ninjunker anyway. Build a nice stable basement in these fairway bunkers. Dig that feet in. Have to appropriately compensate for the slight loss of height gripping down. Just want to pick the ball perfectly on that sand. If I really strike these fairly bucket shots nicely, a lot of spin. Definitely factoring that into our calculations. Heat. Heat. Expect this one to bounce and release a little more. Absolute A1 position now for Hen Kilo. The only player in this group on the fairway. just play a about standard shot. Seems like she may be in between clubs. If anything, I’m a proponent of just taking that shorter one, especially giving your position the leaderboard. Just hit it a little bit harder under pressure with adrenaline. Don’t want to be trying to feather longer shots. Good shot. nice and controlled and start working its way towards the left hand side of the green. But not bad. So, plenty of birdies out at high CC today, but no change at the top of the leaderboard. It’s still Kim Mju holding firm at 10 under par. Hung Jung Min has closed the gap to just two Come on. Beep. Thank you. You don’t want to touch Nicely played shot at fairway bunker left and We see the slope of this green. Little rush of blood to the head there for Kim. Shinszu just kept it on the fairway at 10. These are those shots I was describing earlier. Just the little half wedges require such good feel and trust. which is off a slight down slope as well. So, it’s going to flatten out the trajectory, open up the face. Feel like the ball rolls up the club face and too shallow on that one with no compression in the bunker. Pop Mi looking up the hill. Bit more aggressive than Kim. Nice one. Steady stuff on the front line for parking despite that early bogey. Minjang at the last pretty simple little chip shot lies good in that left rough golf Saturday he is 667 under past time in the final round. How far back is that going to be? Regardless, I’m going to taste pretty good today. I respect the amount of left to right of this, but it’s a little more than you think. The first player we’ve seen miss it low in Kong. Now back to the 18th. Kim Xi Hun playing alongside Hang Min Jong. She is also six under and Boree. We’ll have that to match her playing partner. There’s a dropped to show last two days. Let’s go. Going to here on my excellent recovery. nose out in front by two. Nine holes to play on Saturday by one result. Good news for Shinsel. Balls on a level spot in the bunker. It’s not too deep. Just open up that club face. Get the hands a little back so you don’t have a bit negative shaft lean and slip lo wedge under the ball. Come up high and soft. I just got a little too much ball. These are the mistakes that every now and then plague shins a little wedge in hand and struggling for par. She don’t want to end. That’s been a brilliant day with a three putt bogey. Just got to clutch up, concentrate here. Bit of right to left. Nicely hold. Good two-part scoring from Kimshi Hun and Juan Min Jong today matching each other 66ers. It could very well be in each other’s company for Sunday’s final round. Now to Shinsil struggles on 10 Those hurt really do seven with the birdie opportunity at 14. So it’ll be pretty slippery coming down the hill. It’s been a story of her week so far in the sun seven. Quality shots had it all with the butter. Now Mi starts the back n for a drift. Don’t need to hit driver. So I’ll play slightly downhill. Just about finding the fairway, preferably the left half if you can. Hung going to give the green a crack in two on the 11th. He’s been moved out today. So what more players able to reach? Oh no, no. Oh well, misreward hole, but mince hydrated that second. She’s in a little bit of trouble. A little bit more aggressive and leaking this one out right. Is that going to come off the slope? It will. you. That could have been so much worse. Get away with one going with the driver again. Clearly feels very comfortable. oozing confidence with that two-shot advantage. She’s backing herself to keep the pressure on the chasing pack. Look a bit better there. Aggressive through the ball. Body never slowing down. That is in the ideal position now for the front right hole location. Thank you. Hanji want laid it up at 11 and that one is going to settle up very nicely. We saw a hole out three on Thursday from Park Bo on this hole. Nice way to end the day for Hume three chip in at the last for an even part total of 72. So second shot of Jin pitched dry land and then just hop skipping a jump over the fence into the weeds penalty areas and marker point of entry gets two club lengths from there. Drop play four still every chance she gets up and down. Not a difficult place as long as the lie is okay. Let’s see her chances to to escape unscathed. Back to what looks like the 18th. An early putt for Hong Kong. Another player who’s had the scoring boots on this Saturday. I don’t think it’s a full yardage for NG. Just have to just move this up in the stance. Get a little more height on this. just carry that bunker. Such a good field player. Really couldn’t have done more from that line angle. So on the up slope, I don’t think she can land this on the green. She’s got to land it in the fringe. Just have it take some of the sting out. Carry on the green. It’s going to pitch on the down slope and shoot away from the hole. Yeah, sublime touch. Excellent touch from Hong Jong Min. Contact sounded pretty good. Should have some spin. just didn’t grab. But not bad from Kim and Ju. Poor angle for Park. Just got through the right. Got a little long here. Putting that short bunker into play. Bad result. And the conservative approach to 11 yields a birdie for G1 who move herself alongside the likes of Himqung and Mi at 600 power. Good company to be keeping for a par at 18 on Kim Ging around with a three reach and two yesterday. Shinsil should comfortably be able to reach into today after finding the fairway off the tea. So indicating that it’s probably getting a little right. Okay, stay on the green and the second day in a row will have an eagle butt on the left. Best finish on tour this year for Park Ming G. couple of 10th place finishes at the Ducan Weave Championship and the MBN Ladies Open where she is a multivime winner. Haven’t seen her since the Heaven Masters two weeks ago. Three major titles the KLPJ tour. The prolific winner son up the hill into the 13th. Pretty good shot there. close to winning the Seltry on Queens Masters back at the start of June. Ginsion apparently getting pipped to the line by Eigay Young in June. Looks good. Just falls off low. She’s holding her own in some illustrious company. two playing partners combining for 27 wins including five majors on tour. He’s got just the one but more importantly this week she’s got that two-shot lead now. Kimman Sun seven green eye two at the 15th powerfully built player didn’t birdie this hole yesterday after being greenside into. So he looks to amend that wrong with a nicely played pit shot. Put’s got to start cooperating for Pacquiao if she wants to make a run. pretty much a carbon copy of Kman Juice, but Congratulations. Suji, not a brilliant layup, but the angle’s good from this right. Just play a bit of a releasing wedge to chop down there and gouge it out. Not bad. I’m curious to see what Kim Mju will do here if she gives this one a a good rip off the tea. So, she has a game plan. Working excellent through the first two days. Will she be tempted to attack in two? if she’s got a number for it or she just going to go the conservative route which we’ve seen the last two rounds. shot. It’s going to catch the down slope and go chasing now for Birdie at the other par five on the back side. Okay, up into a share of fifth again. Kimman Sun7 steady work on this backside. She got gears parking in G. We’ll see if she gives this one a little extra well. Try to catch that big down slope. Gain about 30 yards, but everyone signaling this one out to the right. Oh, that is very far right. Someone say safe just kicked out. Cameraman obviously has no idea but don’t seem too bothered back on the tea. And Hun Sun for a birdie at 13. Three things are certain in life. Death taxes and Hinson contending at high 1 CC. Two-time champ making a move as we go back to Hunyong on the 11th. Definitely get a ball for Hung. Now look at that ball go bounding down the fairway. Hong Jong Min at 12 facing this but to try and get within one. Flirting with the hospitality area on the last is Rosong Hui. Good little pitch there. The best of angles, but she’s given herself a chance to finish off with a four. An eagle look for Binsil on 11. More than happy to just two putt this and get herself back to seven under. It’s from just outside 35 ft. She’s going to do just that. Lovely speed on that from the three time KPJ to a winner. How did you do it? No one’s yet claim that beautiful BMW holding one prize on 16 this week look to be a little softer, a little more receptive than they were in the first two rounds of this championship. Suji the birdie on 11. She’s got plenty of club but understand to be looking out to the right. to Minju. A sensible play. A simple little pit shot from the correct angle. Rosing for her. Well done. Nice up and down to close out her round of 69. got away with that poor T-shot part Ming Gi got to be careful with this one. ball going to be slightly above her feet which tends to promote a little hook. Have as much stability standing on the cart path. Needless to say, going left is not ideal on the 11th just going to get a drop off that drainage cover. Free drop that is. to see Mi was looking over at Hun. He was expecting her to go must being fairly equally distant. So we’ll have an idea of how far Mi has her calculations. be right around that 200 meter range. Good kill. So, comfortably reachable with a 3-wood that pin towards the back half of the green. What she’s got to do is carry this onto the putting surface and it should be tumbling along. There’s a good amount of dialogue here between him and her caddy. with a slight downslope just in the back of her mind. It’s low. It’s a little left. Has it got the legs? Saw a little white speck. I think it might be okay. Certainly applauding like it is. Heart mouth moments for there down near life. It really knocked that ball flight down. He’s got to be smart here, Mi. Loads of room out right. You happen to tow this a little and it turns over left. Great. Do not be overly bold. About right. It’s going to be fine. It’s wise to not 10 ft twice on the same whole part. Let’s try and spy where this ball’s ended up for Park and K. It came out awfully low. Yes. Skipped in the penalty area because it’s on the green. Why didn’t we use the camera angle from the tower at the back of the green instead of going to that odd camera about 50 yards short? No wonder she’s relieved and smiling. Is that a fortuitous sign for Hunyong back to Jinsson 14T? One more club that she had yesterday into this green. It’s a six iron. Okay. The other par three on the back nine. Kimman Sun7 just coming towards the end of her round. She’s hitting good butts. Just not dropping. Good pace. Little high. She’s just lurking. Nobody too far back going into championship Sunday. Now Kim Soi alongside Hanun 21 outside the top 60 on the money list right now. only made eight cuts this year. No top 10s. An important weekend ahead for her. Pretty basic pit shot for Park G and Jew on this 11 coming from the fairway. Can sort of afford to throw it a little bit further up on the green. Couple of a bit of check. It’s the kind of shot that you’d expect. Reasonably close for a professional in good control of their game shouldn’t be a factor. There hasn’t been too much since the hulie that the afternoon starters played in on Thursday. Duck its heels in a little quicker than ninja would have liked. I almost prefer Parkland G-Shot even though she’s coming out the rough or especially because she’s coming out of the rough. Nice cushy light. Don’t have to worry about the ball grabbing too quickly. Just play for release. Just like that. Fabulous touch. Shinsil the hanging looking line on the 12th ball above her feet. Come to this raised green as well. So, this ball’s going to be spinning a little more than usual. Yeah, nicely controlled. I think this is a pretty elementary part. Okay. Two holes left for Kimman’s son’s day. Optically pleasing this, but just a gradual mover from right to left. That’s one. Pretty big T-shot. 113 just crept into the rough. Can she hold it on that tiny front right segment of the green? It’s she can eagle butt for park and ride up that little shoulder and then kick off to the right once it gets into that fat plateau. That’s the problem sometimes. You know, you have to hit it hard enough to get up a pretty steep slope. Just a touch firm. Slope on the other side. Exacerbates that speed. Birdie look for Soi at 14. But they can get away from you if a little heavy-handed. It’s always playing in the back of Kim’s mind. This wants to go a little left. We saw from Kim Su G is in a similar spot. Just an outside right edge putt goes take advantage of a good bit of fortune. Park and kill. It’s a three putt paril after that very nicely controlled wedge shot. Birdie opportunity to try and join Hong Jong Min at eight under par. If anything, you want to say this maybe just creeps a little left around the cup. Only debate right now is do you start this outside right edge or just on the right edge? So speed dependent. Picked out the right line there. Great birdie for Bangshin Sil. Backto- back birdies. And another player moves to eight under the day with a three-shot lead. This is to reclaim similarsized advantage. Just relentless stuff from Kim Mu. It’s only her second birdie of the day, but she will stretch her lead back to three. Walking to the 12T for Lingi just about trying to stay with her at this point. Pretty simple, but need to start it outside the hole. Good birdie there for ninjains no ground in her final hole of the day started on the back N piecing together an excellent day’s work and even better she can pop that in for birdie. Lovely shot on Jung men. Couldn’t have pass since she started the back nine. That one will continue. Poor effort now. Miji with the honor. Lost her last T-shot out right as this one hitting left. Stays out of real trouble. The driver is starting to misbehave a little for You have to say say that rhythm looks very good. the Kimman Juke. She looked a little concerned. Had no reason to be. That was just straight up the guts of the 12 fairway, but Park and Kyong is spinning her wheels a little on moving day. leaving power for her round and now finds herself five shots a drift of Kimju. Absolutely no need for driver on 13 for Shinsil. Just trying to keep it in the fairway. Give yourself a nice number into that front right pin. about 17 and EA1 fortunately back at two under par now. It’s been a bit of a rough go of things this pack n the bogeies at 17 and 15 where she began the day. currently leads the money list and points list up that board. Started her day with three straight birdies. Just picked up a fifth of her round back on 15. So she’s lying at 700. pretty dialed in with the short irons this week. Kim Sun 7. He’s target 17 playing closer to 120 odd meters. Blame that one on me. Mins commentators curse. Talk up that iron game and you pull one long left. Fairly confident choosing between clubs here. Two in the hand. I think the longer one probably preferable. Elevator green front hole location. If you’re a little bit long of this pin, it’s no real problem. You come up short. Could leave you a bit of a fiddly chip. Left portion of the green. There’s a little spine in the center of the target which does feed the ball left. Players can use that. A little bit of draw spin. Just picking all the right clubs today. Excellent shot. Pin high for your leader. Now up to 14 and one of the two players within three. Hong Jong Min. She’s got seven iron. Lovely sound of compression. That one settle down ahead to 13. And Kim Suji, this is the shot she absolutely eats up slightly below her feet. So it should counteract the natural right to left ball flight. Just step on a pitching wedge here. Pulled it off the T- Mi. Not quite sure how the lie is in the rut, but might have to be landing this short of the green. Try and have it skip on something like that. What a shot from Park Ning G. Starting to look like Park Ning G of old. Two plane partners hit lovely shots into this hole. What can Hunyong do? Just in the first cut of rough shins, but the li’s okay. Going to land this one just short. Have it bounce on. Not that far short, though. Maybe that just came off the top of the club. Came out a little dead on her. Ju’s lead remains three, but it’s Hong Jong Min and Bang Shin Sil who are making the moves today. Great rounds of 68 from Kimchi Hun and Hang Min Jong leave them at seven under par in the clubhouse. Thankfully for that ball’s not up against the collar of the fringe and getting to the back of it is not going to be a problem. She’s got putter fairly slow from low point of this green for the first time today. shaves the edge. Shinsil just chipping from short of the green target on the 13. So you can pitch this one on the putting surface. She’ll get a little check on it. Good touch. for two in a row. Pop G to start stringing these together. Didn’t like it straight off the putter face. And she knew that Suji slow one up this hill that just loses speed and goes left. Perfect. Kim Suji making her move. About time. Second birdie of the round for the autumn queen. Golden chance for Kimju. Get herself up to 12 under power center again. Kim Ju did yesterday just keeping her foot on the gas pedal. Nicely judged shot out of the rough on her final hold of the day. Sunu Jin to go into Sunday at five under. It’s been a very nice day at the office for Sun Eye 368. Shitzil just looking to clean up for par at 13. So she’s built herself a bit of a cushion again. Look like that was just tailing off a little right. It’s going to get an unlucky bounce and finish in the right rough options may be limited for there one. Oh, a second shot this chip down a pretty steep hill. Just got to land this about 8 ft in front of her and have it collect. One kill also going with less than driver. So Jeep leaning like This might be a touch left. Oh, it’s right on line. Beautiful stuff from Kimu G. Safe to say that that’s going to be a birdie, too. And you Hunju with backto- back birdies now gets to 8 under par. Very good indeed. Shinsel. Gosh, she loves to follow Kim Suji’s line into this green. push it out a little wide, but no harm done that be sensible. Go a little long. That’s right. just really had no option coming from that right rough. be a bit more aggressive in the middle of the fairway. Kim Mju took a awkward little first skip. Lucky I have to say the far right edge of the tea box at 16 is 100. So, I’m trying to open up the angle of this green more. Okay, she knows what she’s doing. Got to just give itself some looks. You can see so want to undo that hard work. Kimmanson now for part at 17ly similar to how the round transpired yesterday. Just unable to get anything going and then just a couple of late bogeies. Well, a late bogey on 18. Left sort of scratching your head thinking I played a lot better than the score indicated. Pick me up. Pretty good from back there. Mi still right to left. Second half of this, but most definitely will be working downhill. chance. Oh, just straightened up at the end. Brilliant effort from Bang. Lovely birdie on this hole yesterday. A longer effort today though comes uphill. Half a chance. dialed in on the greens today all week long as we said after that stellar T-shot. All that’s left for Kimsu Gi to pick up a birdie on the 14th. Is she putting this? This is curious play for Park. Normally such a good chipper of the golf ball. I wonder if maybe the confidence is a little shot. all the day for Kim in San Seven. It’s been another frustrating trek around this mountainous layout. Kick just wiggles onto the front edge. 10. It’s got to match up the pace here. Pretty flat to start and you see it down that slope to the back left corner of the green right there. Start to gather speed. So kicked it a lot further left than Jew and his visaged. Big drive on 15. stays in the fairway. Might have a look at the green and two from that spot. Year one bogey the 17th. So now back at one under. Just looked a little untidy, little sloppy. Very unearl like this week. One place you don’t want to miss it on the 14th is out to the left. Loads of room right of this pin for your championship leader. Just spun out of that a bit. No real harm done. Pretty easy leave just short of that green. Yuanju for her part hasn’t made a bogey since the sixth avoid one there on the 17. Good. Nice recovery. Said it many times in the past. She likes the look of all locations on the left side of the green. Really fit that big slinging draw in there. Chill. set up for the first bogey on Friday. Oh, takes a big kick. It’s not going to go in the penalty area. There’s just something about this T-shot that doesn’t give her the confidence that she needs. It’s two very poor swings she’s made off this tea the last couple of days. It’s not even that hard of a hole. Standard 7 out towards the right half of the green. So all three players in the final group going to be chipping. We’re at 40. EJL blitzing the golf course today on the other side. Finishing up on the other side. The Sabirdie butt on nine. It’s going to be a very nice day’s work for Jong 66. Curler to the right for Jin Sun’s birdie on 16. Should be able to carry this just past the fringe. Have a kick left. Nicely judged. the intricacies about this second shot on 15 as Kim Suji is finding out. You hit a good T- shot down the right half of the fairway. We still have no idea where the green is as par five just works up the hill and to the right. You got a bush in front of you. All about trying to pick the right tree or the right target in the distance. It lines you up with that left edge of the green and then you can sort of operate from there. There’s the target up ahead and you suffice to say do not want to be right of it. Important to really trust Start line. Get the spectators who sometimes can be a little oblivious out of the way. Second shot. She picked the right bite. She picked the right tree on the hill to start this. Cuz five back picked a couple of branches. That’s okay. Your father into a little bit further up the fairway, but it’s another problem for B. Blind second shot. Excellent shot from Shinsil. Just a little plop and run. Pretty big practice swings for Kim Mju. Kate’s back. She wants to carry this about halfway to the hole. Very nice touch. hard to catch her when she’s not making bogeies and giving the chases a sniff to the last and Kimman Seven’s birdie putt from the front edge of the green. Hong Jong Min is making such good progress around the front line. Bogey the 14th will be back at seven under Park right now. Four other players. Clumsy chip for Parkin. So this for Park. Okay. Just creeps it in over the right lip. Working three. Another game plan on this goal. Just try and land it short of the front edge and pray for a good kick. It’s a pretty good kick. Just slows up in some of that thickish rough. Not bad though from not a hard part even though it’s about 8 ft away for par uphill right to left just hit that too hard straight through the brake those are the the clumsy costly bogeies that you’re not used to seeing from Mi left it in a good spot. Kim Suji just shot left of this 15th green pitching uphill slightly. And that is a a three out of 10. Not well played by any means. Kim Suji remains mistake free growing to four shots and son a lot of players miss the 17th green short and left Listen to the comical rather animated reactions of the members of the gallery. The last of the par fives here at I1 CC on the green Kimsu G at least this is uphill so she can play it aggressively off backto back birdies on 13 and 14. Starting to feel it with that putter. That’s three in a row for Kim Su Gi. Moves into a share of third. Very nice four. Had to work for it. The number on that scorecard is all that matters at the end of the day. Kimi second into the 17th yields a birdie. Some performance from a player who has struggled mightily this season. Missed six cuts already. She is around the right side of the leaderboard this week. See that front left location, front right, excuse me, the 16th. Similar to where it was for Thursday’s opening round. penalty here on the left should really be in the equation. It’s a very getable flag stick. There won’t be much club in hand for an Sil looked a little deep for Kim Mju and that one. It’s an attackable flag here on the 16th. She’s starting to get that look about her. I tell you what, talk about players who can make birdies and punches. You’re looking at one of the great examples on the KPJ tour right there. Kim Suji every chance to make it four in a row. and Bin Sil. She’s been playing some solid golf since making the turn as well. Very good from the reigning KPGA Championship winner. It’s an outside chance for Kim Mju gently up the hill. It’s only going to be your bar the 15th your championship leader whose lead is cut to just two. Suji Shinsu making a move on this back nine. That’s going to be four in a row. Fifth bird of the day. 16 holes. MCG and Bangshin have combined for 13 birdies. It’s like that. It’s got cellophane over the top of it for parking and kill like Indian sun 7 just can’t seem to buy a part today. Now the hard charging group of Shinsil and Suji have reached the 17th T. Shinsil’s got the big stick. Heanders a little from right to left and works uphill. Big T- shot here and she’s only going to have less than a wedge into the green. Just such an advantage with its tucked hole location for today’s third round. Loses that one out right. Going to find the fairway bunker. Complicates things a touch for Shinsil. The green Hudgy1 gets it to six under par. Still no gimme. This double bogey putt for park. Ah, tough to watch. Oh, a disastrous triple bogey eight on a par five. Easy to catch these fat face. That’s pretty good from that spot. Got to play this with speed and open club face line. Popped up quickly. kind of drop on the fringe and then tumble onto the hole. It’s very nicely played. Excellent technique there from your championship leader. going to have a a lot more of an option here of how she wants to attack the pin. Suji’s got nine iron on 17. Just letting it straight through the brake. Another golden chance. Goes begging to hand on the home hole. Excellent shot from one of the best we’ve seen into today’s whole location. NG for part. just sort of summed up the season really. Haven’t done anything horrible. Hasn’t done anything particularly brilliant either. And anytime she’s any kind of momentum going, something like that just happens. Muni drops four shots in two holes as Jungle Min comes into the 18th green from that left rough. She’s going to be scuffling along. Too much heat. A green that slopes from front to back. It’s not a bad place to be pitching from. Vital pass saving putt now for Kim Mju just on the right edge I feel rock solid keeps the lead at two over Bangshil three over Kimuji Shinsil. There she is. This part moves pretty hard to the left as it makes its way down the slope. We’ll see if Shinszil can pick out the right line as it works downhill. So, got to respect the pace of these greens. Not bad, but not dead yet. Suppose the only place you don’t want to miss this fairway is that right hand fairway bunker where we saw Bangid Sil earlier the exception of her T-shot on 10 nine has been pretty solid just into the left rough. Looks like that’s sitting up on the green. Suji to join Shinsil at 10 under and keep this amazing string of birdies going. Wouldn’t put it past her to can another one from distance. It’s got to go. It’s not going to. So, the blitz of birdies comes to a pause on 17 by two over Shinsil. Suji with her barrage of birdies up into solo third. be second shot on the way at 17 for Park Hun. Solid gives it right where the players want to look. Just a little right of that pin. Importantly, good distance control leaves her in the correct segment of the putting surface. Up to 18. And Kim Suji just trying to leave it short of that penalty area with the hybrid. Little quick and cookie. And she did not get all of that. She is going to be coming in from a awfully long way back. He doesn’t need to go with this flag stick. Just look out towards the left edge of the TV tower. any green to work with. If she takes a direct line at this location, right? Yeah, Shinszil just needs a a four iron or even a five iron off the T. Pretty simple pit shot. Lies good. Lots of green to work with. Although that sounded like it came off a little soft and slow. It needs to keep releasing. Fabulous. Excellent touch from Hong Jong Lin who should be in that second to last group tomorrow facing the second victory of the season. Wind would actually move her past year one at top the money list. incentive to play for Sunday. Jump in. Terrific second on G1. Get it to go. Still solid day for her. 600 bar just inside the top 10. Yeah, I guess the Send this out enough right because if just a little shy with the pace, it rips left early. That awful T-shot. Suji’s actually got more club in her hands now than she did back on the tea. Chop plays uphill, but sort of 20 yard shot at the green do on a bit of a down slope. So, I’m going to try to carry this about 200 odd meters and have it bounce on to the putting surface cover the situation. Well, Kim Suji that up as a green regulation to imagine it’s a similar club she’s got in her hands now. Right. Try and use the contours of the slow door. on first kick, but it should hold up on the green. Law of ages says these putts have to start dropping for Hung. Gosh, he has had so many chances today. Tournament leader Kim Mju leading us off back edge of this green wants to move left early then I think it just wants to go back the other way around the cup. Sublime speed control. Kim Ju the second bogeyfree round of the week. go into Sunday leading by two, seeking a second career victory. Record 64 with a golden 369 on Saturday. Shaping up to be quite compelling come Sunday afternoon. Let’s look back at some of the best that moving day had to offer at high 1 CC. Starting at the opening hole, first of many birdies jump. Just a little wedge left into the second control. That spin very nicely. Would lead to another birdie for Yanju. She would do it again on the third. I can stepped on that three shot lead coming into the day. Par the opening hole. The drivable par four would more than make amends for it with an excellent wedge shot and a birdie there at the second. Bangshin Sil also birdied the second and like Yuanju would find another dectable wedge shot at three had three eagle looks this afternoon. Bang shinsil first of which came at four. Good two-part birdie. Dropped a shot at six, but then recovered the situation well with a bounce back. Birdie at seven. Then at 12, having gone bogey birdie at 10 and 11. Roll that one in for an excellent birdie that took her up to eight under par. made the turn at one under lane up at the par five birdie the good oldfashioned way and a 12 beautifully controlled wedge shot from 113 m left herself in a really good position underneath the hole putting from the correct side and as she did so well yesterday as they cooperated move her up to 12 under. There was a a late run from Yuim Ju at the sixth and final birdie in her round of 67. Kimu G was really shifting on the back n turned in one under part. Birdie the 13th hit this excellent T-shot at the par three 14th company of Bangshin Sil who had another look at Eagle and would two comfortably under Suji had a little bit more in this birdie But the result was the same. Three in a row for the autumn queen. Then how about these two T- shots from Suji and Shinsil at the par 3 16th. All over it for Kim. It was even better for Bang. Suffice to say, a pair of them would both pick up deuces. 67 for Suji, 66 for Shinsil, who have played their way into the final group alongside Kim Mju, who had to get up and down to keep the scorecard clean. For the second day in a row, she leads by two with 18 to go here at High 1 CC. Should be a thrilling conclusion to this year’s championship. Certainly hope that you can join us for my final run coverage. Same time, same place tomorrow afternoon. Can MJU hang on? We’ll find out. Join us then. Bye-bye for now.
