Happens all the time with refurbished balls.

  2. jakerepp15

    Yeah, don’t buy refinished balls.

Of course, anyone that knows golf balls at all could identify that dimple pattern as being decidedly *NOT* Titleist.

  3. GangnamApeist

Playing with ‘refinished’ balls is a greater crime!

  4. ChesterButternuts

I mean it’s obvious, when did titleist ever have hexagon dimples.

  5. Even a refinished Titleist isn’t really a Titleist anymore. The cover is a big part of the overall ball technology and it’s been changed.

It’s also a lot cheaper for the refinishing company to not sort anything and only have to use one setting on all the balls they bring in.

We call this the West Virginia ball.

It’s just an inbred Callaway nothing to be scared of, just a little wonky flight and distance here and there.

Definition of Refurbished: One who lies about golf balls.

I got some refinished prov1 at golf galaxy the other day and they get completely scuffed in one hole. Absolutely terrible

  9. BluefinPiano

i found one in the brush this week you can see the nike juice logo through

  10. I think your Titleist and your Calaway were doing the nasty in your bag.

  11. BrandoCarlton

Sure it’s got a new coat… but I’ll still game it if it’s urethane lol any idea if it is or not?

  12. Roy_Vidoc

Didn’t know refinished balls were a thing, and now I wonder why they were ever a thing

  13. lou_really

It says refurbished right on the ball. You must be from the no kid left behind era of schooling.

  14. I buy the cheapest refurbished balls because most only last one round or less…

  15. Deep-Egg-9528

Refinished balls are not a good idea. Just buy the high quality used ones that aren’t refinished.
That hexagon dimple pattern gives it away immediately.

  16. I_cant_hear_you_27

Gosh, I haven’t seen this same exact joke picture in weeks!

  17. Never buy refurbished or refinished balls, there’s no telling what’s inside.

  18. Still-Entertainer99

I’ve played with range balls and Ive played with Pro V’s….either way I’m still shooting a 94.

  19. TotallyNotDad

You’d be way better off buying balls off Facebook

  20. aspenbaloo

I bought a couple dozen refinished ProVs for winter golf this year. They scraped up pretty quickly.

  21. T-dott4Rizzl

Oh yes it is. Those hex dimples are 100% Callaway!
