very comfortable hitting the ball right to left, which is a fade for Bob. That’s another absolute cracker. Getting better and better. He’s got a 45 footer off the left. There we go. The first birdie today for Adam Scott. And it’s the longest part he’s had all day and he’s managed to hold it, isn’t it? It looks a little anxious. Does he like it or not? Well, he should. Well, he couldn’t have played that any better. What a start for the world number one. Absolutely gorgeous. Good chance for Eagle at the first. Should hold its line early this and then go right to left halfway this one for Sheffller. What a start. Good morning, Scotland. That was just magnificent. An eagle at the 10th. His first hole today for the world number one to 13. And Ludvig. Yes, that’s his first Bley today. So he’s off and running. [Applause] Multiple winners this year over there on the PGA Tour. This is his third to the eighth. It’s penultimate hall. Oh, how about that? Striker to minus six. Bounce. [Applause] 18th and Vegas for a birdie. Oh my goodness, what a way to finish. Delightful. See what Oberg can net here. Uh at the eighth left. Hit it when hit it. His angle’s not great, but if he holds it up and and the breeze just nudges it, it can access that flag, which he’s done. Oh, that was super. Yeah. Doesn’t move want to move a whole lot this one up the hill. Yeah, daboo. Perfectly judged. I thought it wasn’t going to quite hold its line, but what a way to start a two. Oh, atone for that three putt bogey at the second with the big bird at the third. Well, this comes in. Oh, it does from the right on the front edge of the back the slope there. That’s a lovely little run for Yuan. Conor S. Let’s see if we can get one of these second shots left of this flag here at the fourth. That’s more like it. Downhill left to right for Ryan Fox here. That’s more like it. Two-time winner on the PJ tour this season and great form all year long. Wedge Ferrari. [Music] One of the best today. Really has improved his wedge game over the last 12 months or so. Left toe pointing at the target for Ryan Fox. Trying to improve the rotation through the left hip. Yeah, that’s an absolute pear. I think I may want to try that. Taking the putter. Yan Ferguson over the back of the tent. Terrific. Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa. World class. Looked like a four the entire way, didn’t it? They’re usually taking out lob wedges like this. He’s got to hoist that one up in the air a little bit. Straight downhill. And wow, lookucky there. Lookie there. Well educated hands from Harry Hall. [Music] should gather from there. As Rich was saying, that’s where Ryan Fox may be to scramble something. And look at that for a little quality control shot. That’s from the very edge of the 14th par three. Up and over the wall. Brilliantly judged. Top of the hill 12 Ryan Fox pouring it in. Couple of big putts from Brian Fox today. Never in doubt. Pours it in the front door. It’s four birdies in the last five holes for effective players. No stranger to Scotland. Not much left here for Sim. Trying to get this all the way back there at this bar four. That is an excellent second shot. That should go. [Music] What a lovely bounce. Get on. Done well. Couple of years back he finished with a flourish. He’d like to do that today. Sure would because when he did he was three shots back after one round today. Much further back [Applause] posing. That means he likes it. Rory Maroy, come on down. [Applause] Big birds. Big birds and a lovely birdie there for Rory Maroy. Uh stay. There’s it will it slightly out of his left. A remarkable finish from the Grand Slam champion. And what a difference these floating holes make for Michael. And we’ve watched plenty of Victor Hland today. Let’s hear what he thought about his round. Victor, one of the cleanest rounds on your way to a 66 today. How pleased were you with that round? Yeah, very nice. Pleased with the score. Um, left a couple of uh shots out there on couple of the par fives, but other than that, I’m pretty happy with the day. Give us an idea uh of of what you learned to the golf course today. It feels like I mean, standing here with you now, there’s barely a breath of of wind at all. How did it change out there as you were playing? It was a little bit breezy when we first started, but it was still getable. Um, but now towards the back n kind of the last 12 12 holes we played, it got pretty nice. So, really wanted to take advantage of uh the good conditions. Yeah. Yeah. How conscious were you of the opportunity that existed out there this afternoon? And how does that affect your mindset? Do you do you go chasing something or do you have to remain patient when it comes to links golf? Yeah, it’s one of those courses where it’s getable if you’re playing really well and you’re getting a few nice bounces and making some putts, but as soon as you get a little bit greedy and you miss in a bad spot, it’s you’re going to make a bogey pretty easily. And uh that was kind of one of the big things today. I wanted to keep a clean card and when I hit a good shot, try to make the putt and and make birdies, but I wasn’t going to try to push anything. And just zoom out if you will for us for a moment and and give us an insight into Camp Hland. You know, you had a great result at Oakmont a few weeks ago and we know there’s a big week ahead as we head to Royal Port Rush next week. Of course, we’re not overlooking this week and the significance of winning here in Scotland, the home of golf. Where are you with your game and how are you managing yourself with these two big weeks ahead of you? Yeah, still not entirely pleased with how things feel and the confidence level is still not where I want it to be, but uh it’s been nice to see that, you know, I could I could win Valpar and have a chance to contend at the US Open and had a nice week at the Travelers before I had a withdrawal with my neck. But I’ve been trending in the right direction, even though still doesn’t feel great. But, uh, if I can hit the ball most of the time where I’m looking and and make a few putts and and scramble, then we can still compete. So, that’s, uh, that’s, uh, when it comes down to it, that’s what matters. So, um, hopefully the confidence level can can improve uh, as we go along. And just finally, so with that in mind, if you could just put your finger on the one thing that you you hope to slot into place before, well, Sunday of this week and into next week, what would that one thing be? It’s hard to put one one thing in place, but I mean, uh, like technically swing mechanics and stuff, I I still need to prove a little bit before I feel super confident and just comfortable out there and knowing that I’m going to hit it well every single day. Uh, we’re a little bit waste from that, but I do feel like lately I’ve been chipping and putting it better. And I I made some nice up and downs today, made some nice putts for par. And if I can continue to do that, I’m I’m going to be up there. So, I’m very pleased with that. Yeah, really solid start. Well done. Thank you. I think many would believe that as well. That’s the way it stands. It’s a four-way tie. Uh the top over 70 players within five shots at the top of that leaderboard. Feature groups and full coverage coming your way on Friday. It’s been a fine spectacle at the Renaissance. It always going to be when you bring the cream of the PGA and the DP World Tours together. To watch another DP World Tour video, click here. Nice Rory
FMD, instead of having gray as the bogey colour on the scorecard and black as the PAR how about a bit more contrast, you unprofessional FKS. What about blue for PAR?
Announcers need to say less and less … they don’t know whether a player likes a drive and whether it’s going to be in the fairway and the camera zooms out , and the fairways are 50 60 70 yards a wide 😂
rory
Not a single shot from 6 out of 10 players on the 1st page of the leaderboard…. WTF!
Any highlights from the leaders? Or were they not being filmed? Lol
If rory wasn't a conceded piece of schiff…………it would be different.
Thanx 4 showing Kiwi Ryan Fox😊
@4:34 does this really belong in a highlight reel? Was it like a slow day or relatively easy golf course? I feel like either highlights should be the abridged story of the round, so who the leader was, what shot got them the lead, what shot lost them the lead, and the clips should all be shown in chronological order, OR you should show the best and worst shots along with any funny/remarkablee incidents like niche rulings, balls colliding, etc.
Nobody wants to see US! Well done!
DP Tour highlights are commentary normally much better than PGA but not this one. Still, nice not to hear "ARE YOU KIDDING ME" on every highlight reel.
As an often frustrated Rory fan, I can only say yet again, get a grip man!
Denny McCarthy and Morikawa are either taking a dive, or they're drunk and on drugs. The third option is all of the above.
So beautiful places!

Love the beard from Scottie
Why would highlights contain the full post round interview with 1 player who's not even the leader lol, why include interviews at all in general highlights
@4:33 double birds 🦅 (watch at shadows, amazing moment)
Rory in the thumbnail with a description😂
