they want to make an impact too.
 So I think everyone’s hungry.
Seeing all those faces come across the screen that we just
did on the video. It does bring
you back some nostalgia for that draft class, because it was a
 ridiculous weekend when all
these guys got drafted about 15 months ago. So now they are
 entering their second season
after seeing what we did or did not see. For example, in the
 J.J. McCarthy case from them
last year. Here we go. We’re going to call this sophomore
 jump. We’re highlighting that
last year round of rookie quarterbacks. Guys. First
 question which second year
quarterback will have the biggest sophomore jump this
season? Manti you got to pick
one of those guys on that list. Well it’s hard because they all
did extremely well. But to your
point, J.J. McCarthy didn’t play last year. But if I look at it,
I’m going to set the table a
little bit. Caleb Williams, in my opinion, will have the
biggest jump. Now, how I see
Caleb Williams is when you’re the number one overall pick,
 there comes an expectation and
almost a hype and an expectant a this level of anticipation that
 you’re going to do something
great, especially for a team like like the bears that have
 really been needing a
quarterback for some time now. Now he goes into his season,
 there’s high expectations. He’s
getting sacked a lot. His his coaches aren’t calling timeouts
 in critical situations. His some
of his teammates are giving up in the middle of the play. So I
 think in totality for the
Chicago Bears, it was a rough season for them as a whole. But
now you start looking at what
can Caleb Williams actually do with the football in his hands?
He can improvise. He’s a really
good thrower of the football and you pair him with somebody like
Ben Johnson. For those of you
who don’t follow Ben Johnson, what he did with Jared Goff is
 nothing short of amazing. Jared
Goff didn’t throw under 4000 yards while he was with Ben
Johnson. So if you can imagine
when you pair somebody up like Caleb Williams with somebody
 like Ben Johnson, magic usually
happens with with those types of pairings. You see it across the
board with all of these coaches
that are really good quarterback coaches. It usually brings the
 best out of these quarterbacks.
So I expect Caleb Williams to have a big jump. And it’s not
saying that he had a bad year
last year. Jamie. It’s just based on the expectations that
were there for him coming into
the NFL. I think he fell short of that a little bit. But
knowing him and how he operates,
I think he’s going to have a big jump. All right. Yeah, and I
don’t know if he was set up to
win with that coaching staff. Let’s remember that. Caleb’s
 offensive coordinator, as his
foray into the league was let go in the middle of the season. It
was I don’t feel like they had
their house in order properly last year. I think they do now.
And yet my answer is not Caleb.
My answer is Drake Mae. Drake Maye of the Patriots. Let’s
remember, this year is going to
be the first time that he starts week one. He sat behind Jacoby
Brissett for a while last year
and it probably served him well. But last year in his rookie
year. Just to tell you where
Drake Maye is coming from. Drake Maye did not have a 300 yard
game. He did not have a pass
longer than 40 yards. And now this big talent that we were all
impressed with for hanging in on
a four and 13 team has a new head coach, a new offensive
 coordinator, a new left tackle,
a new wide receiver, one. It’s everything a growing boy needs.
And it’s all right there. I love
what I saw from Drake Maye on a bad Patriots team. I think every
 Patriots fan was pleased with
it. This is a fan base that’s used to winning Super Bowls and
 seeing their quarterback be MVP.
It was a four and 13 team and you’re like all right mission
accomplished. I think we have a
guy who can play. And that’s before Stefon Diggs. That’s
before Will Campbell. And I know
Stefon Diggs is not for everybody. I say it all the
time. But if you like a guy
ushering up your quarterback from infancy to adolescence, he
is for you. I think Stefon Diggs
is going to catch 90 balls next year. And I think Drake Maye is
going to make a big jump. I like
him, I like what you said. And just to add a little bit to that
great segment that you had, you
said he has a new wide receiver one. This is his first time that
he has a wide receiver. One,
because his number one target last year was his tight end
Hunter Henry. So it’s going to
be I like where you went with that KB I just wanted to add
that little detail in there, all
things considered. Actually what you’re both saying about Caleb
 Williams and Drake Maye from
last season was that their rosters maybe weren’t the best.
 Their coaching staff maybe
didn’t wasn’t as equipped to usher these rookie quarterbacks
 in, and they still clearly
showed us enough for you both to answer that. Caleb Williams and
Drake Maye, you guys think could
have the biggest jumps at second year quarterback. So here we go.
Week one. Speaking of Kyle, you
are right. You and I actually we don’t disagree actively on a lot
of things. But that was you and
I last year about Drake Maye. I was thinking like he shouldn’t
start and you were like, get him
out there. I want to see what he’s got. Here comes the
 question. Week one for the
second year quarterbacks. Who are you actively watching Manti
when you look at that week one
slate, you’re like, no, if I have one red zone TV, I got this
one dedicated to this guy and
that’s the quarterback that you’re watching. Well, if you
look at all six guys behind us,
it’s there’s only one of them that hasn’t played yet, and it’s
 J.J. McCarthy. You mentioned
that the Denver Broncos traded up for Bo Nix. Well, the
 Minnesota Vikings traded up for
J.J. McCarthy. So if I’m watching in week one, the number
one guy that I want to see is
J.J. McCarthy versus the bears. I think it’s a great way for him
to start his NFL career. They
traded up for him. And I want to I want to see is this who you
let Sam Darnold go for. Is this
who you didn’t keep Kirk Cousins for. Is this the reason why you
 didn’t draft a quarterback in
this NFL draft this year. It’s almost like Killmonger KB from
from Black Panther. It’s like is
this your king. Like is this your guy? Is this who you’re
 putting all your chips on?
That’s what I really want to see in week one. So my eyes are
going to be fixed to my TV when
I watch J.J. McCarthy. And I really anticipate this guy doing
 extremely well. The package that
he’s going into, the situation that he’s going into over there
 at Minnesota, I mean, I don’t
see any weaknesses with that offense. You have you have
 Hawkinson, you have J.J, you
have Jordan Addison, you have Aaron Jones. Like you couldn’t
go into a better situation. Oh,
by the way, you have Kevin O’Connell. So I, I’m really
excited to watch him. And my
eyes are going to be fixed on him. It’s a great answer. He’s
one of the most pivotal players
in this entire season. We really don’t know. I think we’re all
 encouraged and optimistic. But
he may not have it. He may have jitters, we have no idea. But I
go to the same game like I’m
looking at week one. Caleb, this is a fantastic game guys.
 Vikings at Bears it’s a
different deal. We have this mystery about J.J. But now there
 is something that Caleb deals
with differently in year two which is expectations. Year one
it was just basically oh my god,
survive. Your coordinator gets fired, your head coach gets
fired. Just try to stay on your
feet. Now it’s like all right Caleb win. They have to win that
game. That is the bears home
opener. It is on Monday night. It is at Soldier Field. The last
time bears fans saw Caleb he was
going to Lambeau and winning. And there’s none of this. All
 right. It’s a rookie. Let’s just
take care of him and make sure he doesn’t get hurt. Now it’s
like no no no no no. We have
given you every toy in the toys R us to play with. You go and
play well with them. Caleb, you
go and beat the Vikings. Imagine a scenario in which the bears
 season with Ben Johnson starts
with a nationally televised home loss to J.J. McCarthy in his
very first big time game. You
can’t have that. That’s a massively disappointing week one
loss for the bears fans who
think they’re going to be the belle of the ball. I got to
 watch Caleb. He needs to
outperform J.J. He needs to outperform expectations. This is
the beginning of a lot of big
things in Chicago. It’s not just the J.J. McCarthy debut, it’s
 Caleb, it’s Ben Johnson. It’s
the first round tight end they drafted. It’s so many things.
Caleb show up, show out. Soldier
Field watching Kyle having grown up in Chicago and you have all
 your high school buddies from
back there, you’re tapped in with the bears fan market. There
 was like a clunky, awkward
quotes that came out like 6 or 8 weeks ago about how Caleb
 thought he was trying to
interview to go to Minnesota, but he ends up getting drafted
to Chicago and he smooth that
stuff out. But that doesn’t mean that the fans didn’t interpret
it a certain way. I have to
imagine that Caleb potentially is also playing to a point where
he’s trying to show once again,
this city, this fan base, like, I am your guy and I am just as
 committed to being here no
matter what awkward quote in the book is said about me, what are
like the local guys have to say
about this? Local Chicago fans? Well, if you want to just talk
 about bad bears quarterbacks,
just ask bears fans. I don’t I’m not on a single text chain in
 which anybody was offended or
clutched a single pearl about Caleb saying, I’m not
necessarily sure I want to go to
Chicago. I’m a quarterback. Everyone was like, yeah, of
course we get it. I wouldn’t
want to come here either. It’s been terrible. I totally
 understand what you mean. I
think it actually made him more relatable from for me. I was not
 at all triggered or defensive
whatsoever. I was like, Caleb, like, I can’t tell you I would
want to come here either if I
was you and my dad was running the show and I was making
millions, and I’m not going to
Chicago. But I think he has learned about the city. I think
he has learned about this, the
atmosphere. And honestly, like he gets here and his head coach
 is Matt Eberflus, his offensive
coordinator, Shane Waldron. They’re both fired. I mean, it’s
it was a ridiculous rookie year.
He was kind of right. But then all they’ve done is surrounded
with pieces. So far I just the
McCarthy thing is fascinating to the McCarthy schedule deal is
 amazing because J.J. McCarthy’s
season that we’re all waiting to see his first two games are
 national television, right?
That’s a pretty big deal. He plays against Caleb and then
Penix in Week two. So it’s like
right out of the gate. You’re going against your peers,
against which you’re going to be
measured for your whole career. So J.J. Goes, there’s no like
little warm up game where you
play some such and such team that nobody cares about. It is
right into the guys there you’re
going to be compared against. I think that’s really cool. The
 sophomore kings, the sophomore
Kings, right. Manti keeps referencing this wall behind us
like it is a crazy group and
list of quarterbacks. And one of the plays that we saw last year
was the Hail Mary, the Hail
Maryland, whatever you want to call it from Jayden Daniels,
easily in that rookie class. The
most memorable play for those guys in 2024. Let’s spin the
 ball forward. Second year
quarterback on our list that you think will have the most
memorable play in 2025. Look at
that thing. I can’t stop looking. I’m salivating over
that list. That’s a great list.
First of all, it’s a great list of quarterbacks. We’re lucky as
NFL fans that we get to see
these quarterbacks suit up in the NFL for years to come. Now
you could look at this list and
which one is going to have one of those wild plays. Jayden
Daniels had a lot of them last
year, but I got to go back to Caleb. I got to go back to Caleb
 because his ability to
improvise. I think when you’re when you’re able to improvise
the way that he does and then
you’re also able to throw the ball with your body in all sorts
 of weird angles. It’s almost
like Patrick Mahomes. How many times have we seen Patrick
Mahomes throw the ball when his
body is parallel to the ground, his ability to create things?
Now you take Caleb and you put
it with a man named Ben Johnson who ran all of these trick plays
 last year, not only with
receivers and running backs, but you have Jared Goff catching
 touchdown passes. You have Jared
Goff stumbling out from under center and throwing touchdowns.
Like there are so many highlight
plays that Ben Johnson created for his team and for Jared Goff
that now you put that with
somebody like Caleb Williams. And that’s just something I
think we’re going to talk about
a lot on this show, Jamie, for this entire year is what type of
what type of trick plays are
coming out of Chicago now. And that’s something that I watch
for. So I think Caleb is going
to have one of those. One of those. Yeah. Caleb has the
strongest arm of any of those
guys in my opinion. And let’s remember, even though that looks
 like this amazing crew that
we’ve now seen most of them play a year of football, there really
was not a debate like Caleb was
the guy that Caleb was the guy who was going to go number one.
As much as we love now, Nix and
May and all of them, Caleb was looked at as the consensus one,
 I don’t remember us having a lot
of debates about who should go number one, and the bears made
up their mind really quick. And
yet for this question, which I think is a fun one, most
memorable play, I’m going to go
curveball. I’m going to say Penix in Atlanta for a bunch of
 different reasons. First of all,
this kind of surprised me. The Atlanta Falcons are like all
 over primetime this year. They
have five primetime games to make a truly memorable play.
It’s hard to do it in that 1:00
window. I mean, I’m thinking about Odell’s one handed catch
 and all different kinds of
highlights. Unless you’re like Saquon jumping over somebody
backwards, it’s hard to make a
timeless highlight. That’s not in the bright lights. They’re
going to be a lot. And I
wouldn’t have thought the Falcons. But they are also like
call me petty. I like a left
handed throw. I think it’s really cool. I think it looks
 different. I think Steve Young,
Michael Vick, any of those Boomer Esiason rather like I
 think some of them, something
just sticks out about it. It looks different. And I’m looking
at that guy right there. Drake
London I was watching Quarterback on Netflix last
night, and I was watching Kirk
Cousins make a game winning drive against the Eagles in Week
two to beat the Super Bowl
champs, and he hits London and the corner of the end zone. And
London looks so good and so big.
And he shakes Darius Slay on this route in the red zone for
 the game winning touchdown. I
feel like there’s going to be a Penix to London highlight. That
just blows our mind in prime
time. Left handed throw I don’t know I’m I’m into the esthetics
of it, but I just feel like
there’s going to be something that comes out of Atlanta this
 year. From Penix. I totally
agree, Kyle. And it reminds me too of like when we used to flip
Tua’s game film and you’re like,
now it looks correct because we’re seeing a right handed
 thrower. It doesn’t matter. The
left handed little chef’s kiss part of that would make it
fantastic. So Drake Maye was a
part of the conversation at the beginning here and how the
 Patriots handled their business.
But now we want to see more from him in the year in the second
 year. Speaking of their
business, one of those plays was this impressive one from last
 season, perhaps the highlight
for the team in 2024. First, let’s take a look at the play.
Four seconds to go back. Two
steps. Looks to the end zone. He pumps. He backs up. He slides
left. He looks in the left
corner. Now. He rolls to his right. He pulls up in the middle
of the field. Drake Maye eludes
the defender, running to his left looking to the end zone,
trying to keep the play alive.
Falling down. He throws to the end zone. It’s caught. Touchdown
 Rhamondre Stevenson oh my god
Drake Maye what a play by me I told you we’re going overtime.
We should call those plays for
quarterbacks and stopwatch plays. You’re like my god how
long has he been up and running.
So Drake Maye connects with Rhamondre Stevenson finally. And
then those two this summer have
now recreated that spectacular moment on Jet skis. So we put
 together this split screen of
them on the field and in the sea. Check it out. Sidestep.
 He’s ready to throw. Nobody’s
open into the end zone. Touchdown oh my goodness
 Stevenson that is incredible.
The fact that everyone is celebrating this and not freaked
 out completely that your
quarterback is falling backwards off a jet ski and throwing it
just means that play was so
awesome. We’re going to judge this, shall we? Yeah, let’s
 judge it. Okay. Sure. Reminder.
Be careful. No. Have you ever. Baby. Careful, Drake. Okay.
Like, I think that Drake May was
in more danger in his football pads in this play with three
 Tennessee Titans draped around
him and him falling backwards with a nice little life vest on.
But Andre is over there trying
to adjust on a jet ski while keeping his eyes on the ball and
then catching it. Like, did he
let go of the jet ski and question, or did he catch it one
 handed? So the difficulty of
that one is, well, that’s that. That becomes why we have do you
 have your whiteboard, Kyle? Do
you have that in front of you? We’re going to do a degree of
 difficulty for recreating this
play. I don’t even care about the original play anymore. I
 care about recreating it. The
one on the on the water in the jet skis. Okay, so let’s do you
 know, 7.0. Let’s do a decibel
system out of 10 degrees of difficulty for those guys
 recreating that play. Amantha,
you go first. Okay. Well, are we scoring it like a dunk, or are
 we saying degree of difficulty?
 I don’t understand, I like the dunk. All right, let’s do a
dunk. I like the dunk. Okay? I
like the dunk. All right, all right, so I got I’m going to
give it a go ahead. Let’s go. Go
ahead man Ty I got an eight. And the reason why that I got an
eight. It’s kind of like when
you watch a dunk competition. I’m glad we brought that up.
Yeah. It’s like you have a guy
that alley oops the ball. And sometimes the alley oop. Most
times the alley oop is a lot
easier than a guy who’s actually dunking the ball, in my opinion.
When I watch this clip, Drake
Maye is a little far back thing. That’s all cool and all, but the
 real difficulty was Rhamondre
Stevenson try to navigate through the water and catch that
ball. So I would give it an
eight. I would like to give it a ten just based off of Andre, but
I had to give it an eight
 because it’s a it’s a team thing. All right Jamie I went
9.4. I double down on your if
you’ve ever been on a jet ski or anything like that. The trigger
on the speed. Like you better
watch out because that thing will take off and kick you off
like a bucking bronco. Okay, so
the fact that Rhamondre Stevenson did not accomplish
this, I’m going to add I was at
8.4, but I added an entire point for the challenge that those two
will have to face walking back
in the building in Foxborough and having their head coach be
like, guys, love it. But please,
for the love of all that is good and pure in the name of
football, do not do that again
in the summertime. I need you both playing an entire 18 game
season. They have to face Mike
Vrabel and they got to have that conversation. So I added an
 entire degree of difficulty
point and skill set because of that conversation. Yeah. Vrabel
I mean he’s got he’s got Maye on
the jet ski. He’s got Diggs on stuffed chicken breast. Nice.
Your face though. All right, all
right. Your face okay. All right I’ll be. Damn. I love that right
 there. I’ll be damned because
you just couldn’t get it together yesterday. So here we
 are. We’re playing trivia based
on Dan’s or Daniel’s important clarification in the NFL. I will
 be hosting this segment, and
it’s all in the basis of man, I just couldn’t lock in yesterday,
so lock in now my friend. First
question. Which Dan holds the rookie record for games with
 four or more passing touchdowns
against zero interceptions. Keep in mind they were a rookie. They
threw four or more and no picks.
And they did this multiple times. Who has the record? Is it
 a Daniel Jones B Danny White c
Dan Marino or D Dan Fouts? Please for clarification
 purposes, write the entire name
of the player and then show us your answer on your board. Got
it. Okay, okay. So don’t be
confused. Well, listen, Kyle, Daniel Jones did come in and
play really well in New York,
but that’s just some really gaudy stats right there. And I,
I have to just go with the get
the ball on the fairway. Marino was a rookie was unbelievably
incredible. So I will say Dan
Marino I don’t know the nuances of those stats, but I know he
was great. So I’ll go with that
okay. Am I going two. Yep. Okay. Show your board I this is you
versus me buddy. I’m going to go
to the same thing. So I didn’t put Dan Marino at first because
 obviously I said CJ strong
instead of CJ Stroud. I didn’t want to misspell his name, but I
do think it’s going to be Dan
Marino. I chose Dan Marino yesterday in my triplet, and
because of that, I had a little
bit of research and I, I think that it’s going to be Dan
 Marino. Okay. It’s great guesses
for both. Unfortunately you’re both incorrect. It is Daniel
Jones. What it is Daniel Jones.
And if I have it correct, according to Giants.com, only
three times in NFL history has a
rookie quarterback thrown for at least 300 yards in a game with
 four touchdown passes and no
picks. Two of those were by Daniel Jones in his rookie
 season. So three times it’s
happened before in the NFL. But twice Daniel Jones did it. And
so that must be the record. Yep.
Respect Daniel Jones respect. Put some respect on calling him
 Danny Dimes unironically. Like
we were like this guy is incredible. And I know his stock
is a little down right now. He’s
trying to bounce back. But he was really good then. Yeah,
absolutely. All right I was on
the same I was on the same wavelength tight fairway for you
 Kyle. And unfortunately you did
shank it okay. Question two I’m in the woods like usual. Who is
the only Dan to lead the NFL in
scrimmage touchdowns in a season? Is it a touchdowns Danny
Amendola B Daniel Graham C Danny
Woodhead or D Dan Reeves okay so this player had you go first man
yeah I got you in scrimmage
touchdowns okay. Single season. So when I when I read this
 question it says from scrimmage
right. So it doesn’t necessarily mean run. It doesn’t necessarily
 mean pass. But there’s somebody
on there who I played with Danny Woodhead for 3 or 4 years with
the Chargers that did both. One
of the hardest guys to guard out of the black out of the
backfield. And so I’m going to
go see Danny Woodhead not only with his time with the Patriots
but also how it utilized him
with the Chargers. So shout out to Danny Woodhead I got see. So
they all it’s only you only you
only have to be better than all the other Dan’s. Yes. Right. So
in other words like all right.
So because I’m like Amendola Woodhead those guys didn’t lead
the league. And I’m like no just
the Dan’s I’m going to take a flier on this one because the
staff got cute with the first
one. And they tried to tempt us with Dan Marino you know mostly
as a coach. But Dan Reeves was a
player back in the day and he was a player I think he played
for the Cowboys. So I’m going to
say Dan Reeves, who went on to be a very successful coach. Did
 he lead the Dan’s and
touchdowns? Jamie, when he played for the Cowboys from 65
to 72, Dan Reeves did indeed
lead the NFL in scrimmage touchdowns in a single season.
It only takes Kyle Brandt a
single question to suss out how the production staff can try to
get cute. And Kyle Brandt, you
nailed it. Please walk us through this old footage with
the goalpost in the middle of
the footage. You don’t see Dan Reeves much as a player. Again,
 fantastic coach. He of course,
with Denver, John Elway and all those years and so many stops,
 like just a really respected
guy. But he was such a good coach. You don’t get to see him
 running the ball around very
much. And Jamie, you couldn’t be more right. I know pretty good
 NFL history. I’m excellent in
knowing that Gmfb staff and their snarkiness. So I’m just
reading this thing like a book
and look at Dan Reeves. Cut it back against Washington. I love
 this footage. It’s perfect. Well
done. All right. Kyle’s up one one nothing one nothing.
 Question three is going to
become my new official thing that I get to read on live
 television. So bear with us.
Everybody. All right, who said the following quote in reference
to being told their team is far
away from being, oh my god. I was like hey Bleep you. That’s
not how it’s going to go down.
It wasn’t disrespect, it was dismissiveness. And I felt some
kind of way about it. It was
we’re going to be a lot better than we just showed today. And
 eventually we’ll show that. So
not to prove it to everybody else or underdog stories, it’s
how we got down. Oh okay. Got
some options here. Everybody. Is it a Dan Campbell b Dan Quinn C
Daniel LaRusso or D Dan Morgan
 G. When his team was told that they were far from far away from
 being contenders. You go first,
KB why would Daniel LaRusso from The Karate Kid be in the NFL?
Can you think of any other
Dan’s? What are we doing here? Dan Morgan would talk like that.
 Here’s what I’m going to say. I
feel good about this one, but I don’t want you to copy my
answer. I won’t. You want me to
go first, I think. No, you can just. I think it’s Dan Quinn,
because I think that the F-bomb
was inserted to try to make us think it’s Dan Campbell. But Dan
Quinn also will go that route.
And I think it’s Dan Quinn who’s a passionate guy. I like Dan
Quinn and Dan Quinn to me
though, is he just doesn’t seem like somebody who publicly drops
would drop a bomb like that. But
Dan Campbell is one. He has no filter. And that’s what I love
about Dan Campbell. So the guy
that I was calling Dan Quinn yesterday, I think that it’s Dan
 Campbell. That’s why I’m going
with Jamie. Okay. Unfortunately, the clarification that you
 needed yesterday continues in
this question today because Kyle is right that Dan Quinn and it
is not Dan Campbell. And I
believe we have the sound. So let’s listen to Dan Quinn. I was
like hey f you. You know like
that’s not how it’s going to go down. And I was upset. Right Dan
but it wasn’t disrespect, it was
dismissiveness. And I felt some kind of way. But it didn’t
motivate me more to say Dan
Campbell would never self-censor like that. Disrespect. It was a
good point. We’re going to be a
lot better than what we just showed today. I’m still
 confused. Jamie, why Daniel
LaRusso is on who’s going to be on the next one? Dan Aykroyd
like, what are we doing here?
Daniel Day-Lewis, Daniel Radcliffe We are just dipping
our toe back into trivia. Kyle.
Don’t just denigrate the staff. Okay, here we go. The next one’s
 Danny DeVito. I’ll blind answer
it. Go ahead. Okay. Kyle’s got two, right. And he’s got. Come
on man okay, well I also have my
board. Okay. Here we go. Question four which of these
 Dan’s completed 80% of their
passes and had over 300 yards in a game going up against a Bill
 Belichick defense. Bill
Belichick defense okay. Is it a Dan Marino B Dan Fouts C Dan
Orlovsky or D Danny White okay.
So I’m going to try to utilize CB’s logic. Logic okay. And I
think when you they think they
know me right. And they think that when I when I think of Bill
 Belichick I think of Patriots
Bill Belichick. But Bill had a long career and I know that it
 most likely crossed with this
guy Dan Marino. So I’m going to go with Dan Marino I’m not going
to go Dan Fouts. Orlovsky I’m
going to go with Dan Marino KB come on bro. All right. Yeah.
 Because I think your instincts
are right man. It’s not Patriots Belichick they’re talking about.
 It’s either Browns Belichick or
more likely New York Giants defensive coordinator Bill
 Belichick. Which would take us
all the way back to the 80s I think Orlovsky is out. I think
it’s too late for Fouts. And
Marino is the shiny answer. So I’m going to say this. It’s
meta. The white board and the
white boy say white. That’s what I’m going to say Danny White
it’s perfect. You are both wrong
though. It is on is it? On December 4th, 2011, Dan Orlovsky
 led Indianapolis Colts were
playing the New England Patriots and Orlovsky went for 353 and
completed 30 of 37, which makes
it a nice round number of 81% completion. He had two
 touchdowns and an interception.
Dan Orlovsky Everybody come on guys. Dan I’m sorry we didn’t
know this Dan I, I should have
remembered this game. And you should have gone and celebrated
at Colony Grill with some thin
crust pizza. Amazing job Dan, you should do a film breakdown
on it wherever you are. I didn’t
know this happened. Look at Brady, he said. Yeah, good job
Dan and Dan’s like, yeah, I was
pretty good. Awesome I love this. Wow. All right last
question on the I got to get a
point. Give me on the board Jamie. Of course the origination
of this is you not be able to
make this worth three. All right. Perfect because it is
 three nothing Kyle against Manti
zero actually don’t make it four because then he could beat you
on the buzzer. Wait wait wait
wait wait wait wait wait. Great great great. Three zero. Yeah.
You haven’t gotten a point. Oh,
snap. This last questions were for last one on November 12th,
1995. Four years old all right.
In a loss against the Patriots Dan Marino broke Fran Tarkenton
 all time passing yardage record
of four 47,003 yards. What was the highest grossing movie in
November of 1995? Guys, come on,
this is like a layup, guys. All right, come on. 1995 A Toy Story
B GoldenEye C Ace Ventura. When
Nature calls when Nature calls got to clarify or D Waterworld.
We’re not trying to trick you.
All those movies did come out in 95, man. I just need you to pick
 the highest grossing film in
November of 95. You emphasize that November on that one. Okay,
this is what I’m going to do,
okay. Just because just just just because. All right. It’s
for Manti. This is for the win
or for the fail, okay. Just because just because in our
first segment, we saw we saw
great. Throw in some water and an acrobatic catch in some
water. I’m going to go with D
Waterworld. I actually saw the movie. I thought it was actually
really cool. Made me want to
live on the water someday. Okay, so I’m going to go D for my game
winning last point wins the D
Waterworld. That’s what I’m going for the win. Kyle, what
 you got? Here’s where I’m at. I
think GoldenEye came out in December of 95. I do, I really
do. That’s how weird my brain
 is. I don’t think it’s D I think it’s either A or C. I saw both
of them in the theater. Toy
story was a bigger hit. Was that out in November? Damn. I’ll go.
Here’s what I’m going to do,
Jamie, because I’m thinking the producer is going to want to
have the payoff picture of the
movie. What would be a more satisfying payoff picture I
think it’s going to be like a
glove. I think it’s Ace Ventura. When nature calls, am I right?
Take us to break Gmfb. He’s
right. Everybody. He wins. That’s it. Kyle. Yes. Nobody
beats me. I’m above the law.
Yeah, nobody can beat me in that rookie hazing guy is my house.
Is this rookie hazing guys? Come
on. Oh, yeah. You said 1995. I was four years old. I was
 watching Barney back then. Guys,
look at him. Look at him. That’s KB right now. That’s his. That’s
KB. I did the celebrating. Wow.
Anybody out there can’t beat me in stupid 1990s movies trivia I
got you. We should we should
rename this segment. Damn, damn. That’s what this is. Great
thing. Come on. Okay. And moving
upfield. This type of craft, you home. It’s like an extension of
myself. Eli Manning has one of
th greatest personalities. He’s hilarious. If I could just take
him and put him in a show today,
he would fit without acting at all, fit the offense. That’s
actually a really we should put
a cast of NFL people together. Okay, this segment tomorrow.
 Don’t utter the words. This
could be a segment up in this place this time of year, because
 it will immediately become a
segment. They will jump on it. It’s like chumming the water for
 sharks. They’re just attracted
to it. Our staff. So guess what we’re doing a segment called
Flip the Script, where we are
picking famous TV shows or beloved shows and recasting them
 with NFL players. It’s
happening. And Manti Te’o, you’re about to make it happen.
What is your show and who is
your cast? I’m in this whole little mood right now because I
just lost. So it’s the perfect,
perfect show. KB the show that I got is one of my favorites.
 Peaky Blinders if you haven’t
seen Peaky Blinders, I love it. It’s probably one of the best
 shows ever watched. Anyway, one
of the main characters is Thomas Shelby. He’s like this cool
 under pressure, but the general,
he’s the leader of their whole gang. When I look at Thomas
Shelby, I think of Jalen Hurts,
 how he’s never rattled. He’s a he’s a leader. He’s always
locked in. Then you go to Arthur
Shelby, his brother. Now Arthur is a little more wild. Arthur is
a guy that he has no filter. He
can go to 0 to 100 very, very quick. The guy who I compare him
to is Max Crosby. You don’t have
the name mad Max for any type of reason. Next is one of my
 favorite characters, Alfie
Simmons. Now Alfie is a leader of a Jewish gang. And it
 doesn’t. It doesn’t. I don’t
think it gets any better than having somebody like Jordan
Mailata, who not only has that
Australian accent that Tom Hardy has, but he also has the ability
to become from go to funny to
very, very angry. Really, really quick. And last but not least, I
 have Michael Shelby. Now,
Michael Shelby is a nephew of Thomas and Arthur Shelby. Now
 Michael is very, very educated.
He seems very articulate. But then later in the show, ambition
gets him and he starts to think
that, hey man, I’m going to take I’m going to take Thomas Shelby
out. It’s kind of like Bo Nix in
this AFC West division, where Patrick Mahomes has been the
king and the leader of this
whole thing for so long that now Bo Nix is like, man, it’s my
 time. So great. Peaky Blinders,
Peaky Blinders, couple of seasons of that right couple
like I think eight eight or
something like that. I would say I rewatched a favorite show of
mine in the last month of my
life. I have been rewatching Law and Order SVU for the last like
six months of my life. So here
we go. Ready? Olivia Benson is one of the longest standing
characters on NBC, and while the
ding ding ding NBC tune is very familiar to everybody, so is the
boom boom at the beginning of
the SVU. There is a long standing character in Detective
 Olivia Benson, a sergeant now
Mike Tomlin, one of the longest standing head coaches in the
 NFL. They are both dedicated.
They cut to the chase. They are loyal to A, to a, to a fault, to
 some of their people sometimes.
There you go. Mike Tomlin and Olivia Benson next. She was
partnered for a long time with
Elliot Stabler, as was Mike Tomlin and Ben Roethlisberger.
 In their 15 seasons together.
People love the partnership and then Elliot Stabler had to move
on. He pops up from time to time
and their relationship has recovered, but she had to move
on to a new partner. There is
another character, though, that has been on the show for just as
long as that is Fin Tutuola and
there’s Cam Hayward, all right. He’s in his 15th season with
 Pittsburgh. We’re doing an
entire Law and Order SVU cast in Pittsburgh, which means that
when she moved on from Elliot
Stabler to her new partners in Amanda Rollins, T.J. Watt has
been there for a long time as
well. Amanda Rollins is from Georgia. She’s got an attitude.
She is also kind of a no bull
mindset, and she gets the job done, as does Watt, who is
 partnered oftentimes, Amanda
Rollins with Detective Carisi, and that’s Alex Highsmith. These
 two have been together
defensively for quite some time. Detective Carisi, however, has
went from being a detective to
law school to become an attorney. He is now the
 assistant district attorney on
the show and the Adas on that show. There have been so many.
Sometimes you see them for six
seasons, sometimes you see them for one episode, and that is
 Aaron Rodgers. What kind of
assistant district attorney is Aaron Rodgers going to be? In my
version of Law and Order SVU,
sometimes they get along with Olivia Benson, sometimes they
don’t. We will see in the
Pittsburgh Steelers version of Law and Order SVU Kyle Brandt.
Nicely done Jamie. I just hope
Amanda Rollins doesn’t get traded over to the CSI team. You
know what I mean? Like, there’s
all kinds of disputes right now that are going on. We will be
right back. And that is by order
of the Peaky Blinders. Don’t go anywhere. If you know luxury.
It’s not just the darkness when it comes
 screens. Kyle Brandt says throw
down Thursday with football related conversation, shall we?
 First topic on tech. Steelers
head coach Mike Tomlin and his team report to training camp in
just two weeks. He’s got a new
quarterback again. This time it’s Aaron Rodgers under center.
 Meanwhile, the Cowboys
quarterback Dak Prescott has a new head coach in Brian
 Schottenheimer who is under the
microscope. More in these scenarios entering training
camp. Is it Rodgers and Tomlin
or is it Dak and shoddy Manti? I think Rodgers is always under
the microscope, but I am going
to go with Dak and shoddy. And the reason why is this okay. So
if you are the Dallas Cowboys or
the fan base and you’re looking at Dak Prescott, we just
 surrounded you again with a
whole bunch of weapons. You got George Pickens CeeDee lamb Jake
Ferguson is a really good tight
end. And you just revamped your whole O-line. Your defense is
always going to show up for you.
So when you got rid of Mike McCarthy was it it’s all on you
now Dak. So if things don’t work
out, if the team doesn’t look any different now we know what
the problem or who the problem
was because there’s always I don’t know if you remember this
Jamie but there’s that that that
debate of who is at fault here. Why does the Dallas Cowboys
 always fall short of their
goals? Is it because of Dak Prescott, or is it because of
Mike McCarthy? And so when I
watch this team this year, I don’t think you could I think
you could say that this is the
best offense that the Dallas Cowboys have had in a very, very
long time. And KB brought up the
comparisons between or not even the comparisons, the
 similarities between George
Pickens and CeeDee lamb in their physical appearance, even not
even their their ability to play
this game. There are two of the most dominant when it comes to
 running routes comes to making
explosive plays. And you put them both on the same team now
and you got to see is magic
going to happen from this? So if I’m thinking of a duo that’s
 under the microscope, a
microscope more, I got to say that it’s Dak Prescott and it’s
 shoddy. So that’s that’s who I’m
going with right. All right let’s go back nine years. The
 year is 2016 Brian
Schottenheimer is the quarterbacks coach in
 Indianapolis. Mike Tomlin is
winning his last playoff game. It’s Mike Tomlin and the
 Steelers. That’s how much has
changed. It’s been nine years. And since the Steeler way and
the Tomlin way has shown up in
so much has won a playoff game. There is a large large faction
of the Steeler fan base who is
usually a very content, excited, positive fan base because they
have so much success. That is
like, I’m so sick of this era. I’m so tired of it. I’m so tired
of hearing he always gets to the
playoffs. I’m so tired of hearing he’s never sub 500 off
 and I understand it completely.
And now you go to the man behind the curtain, Aaron Rodgers on
his third team in four years.
And he’s old and he’s talented. And maybe it works. Maybe it
doesn’t. But I think the Cowboys
have a little bit of a grace period. At least there’s some
 goodwill with Brian
Schottenheimer. The Steelers are like I don’t know. It’s our best
player is holding out. Yeah. Our
quarterback is the oldest player in the league with which we have
 no experience, with no
backstory, with no relationship with. We will destroy him the
 second he throws an incomplete
pass. We have no we have no growth period at all. We need to
win now and we need to win a
playoff game now. So I don’t know. I think it’s the Steelers.
I think their training camp is
going to be fascinating. I don’t know if T.J. Watt is going to be
 there. Najee Harris is gone.
Aaron Rodgers is there, George Pickens is gone. And it’s all
 the orchestration of Mike Tomlin
who the media treats like a god. And the Steelers are ready for
 some serious results. I think
it’s them. One of the more fascinating things that occurs
when I, as Kyle, loves to hear
that I sign up for these local publication interviews, is like
when I go on a Steelers podcast,
if you will. They always ask me like, well, this is what’s
 happening locally in their, in
our opinion of Mike Tomlin, what’s the national narrative?
And I always like no other team
or market does that. They they care so much about what their
head coach is seen as nationally
versus because they understand what their microscope or their
little snow globe looks like in
Pittsburgh. It’s one of the most intense environments to be in
 that against the Dallas Cowboys
is a crazy thing to say. Coming up on the show, we have Ryan
Fitzpatrick coming on from is a crazy thing to say. Coming
up on the show, we have Ryan
Fitzpatrick coming on from the golf tournament. He’s
 participating in this week’s
American Century Classic golf tournament. So here’s the
 question. Which is a better
past, your prime past time to pick up past your prime pastime.
Say that ten times fast to pick
up. Is it golf, manthei or pickleball? I got a newfound
love for golf. I’m not saying
that I am a golfer, but watching professional golfers actually
 compete, it’s actually an art.
But I just came from Utah. I just moved to California from
 Utah, and Utah loves pickleball,
and I picked it up over there. And let me tell you, I love
 playing pickleball. I’m not
saying that I’m great, but I will say this. The thing that I
 hate about playing pickleball is
because I come from a football background. Jamie and KB, you
 know, there’s like when you’re
in a game, right? And you look across across the sideline, you
 start to measure people out.
You’re like, there’s a reason why. Back in the old days, you
used to have that big old white
cowboy collar. It’s to make you look more manly. And sometimes
when you watch these guys coming
out of the tunnel, you’re like, oh, that guy’s that guy’s going
to be mean. That guy’s going
without even playing against the guy. The thing I hate about
 pickleball is somebody could
look like they just came from Whole Foods, and they go across
the court on you, and they just
start murdering you. Kind of like how Kyle did the first hour
in that little Dan that Dan
trivia thing. It’s so unpredictable. Okay. And so I
like to step on. I’m used to
stepping. Yeah, I’m used to stepping on the court and
looking at people and start to
analyze them like, oh, I got this person I got I can
 definitely beat this person.
That doesn’t happen in pickleball. But that’s also the
beauty about it is everybody can
play it and it starts to get really intense. And for me and
my family, it gets intense. We
just have one rule don’t put me and my wife on the same team
because then it starts. We start
arguing and it just gets way too competitive. So I got to say
 pickleball. It’s pickleball,
it’s fun, it’s easy and it’s cheap. There you go. Golf.
Listen, golf is so hard. Golf is
so time consuming. Golf is so expensive. There’s a lot that’s
wonderful about it and I adore
it. I like being outside. You can be with your friends, you
can gamble, you can drink, you
can smoke, you can do all these incredible things. It’s great.
 It takes 4 to 5 hours. It’s
expensive as hell. And more than anything, it is frustrating as
hell. I don’t want to spend my
free time on a Sunday morning if I’m going to take it away from
 my family throwing clubs and
swearing. I’m off the entire time I’m golfing because I’m not
good and I don’t have the time
to become good. Pickleball is nothing but giant ping pong.
Dink, dink dink. A few steps
over here, dink. You can do the same things. You can drink and
smoke and gamble and all that
stuff if you want to do it. But you do it on a concise little
court, you can much more easily
play coed. You can play with kids, and you can play in a half
an hour if you want. For 20
bucks. It is so much easier for golf, for all its glory and all
its prestige and all its fancy
clubs, it does nothing but you off. And I’m tired of being off
on my free time. I think it’s
pickleball, and I think it’s pickleball on a running runaway.
 Short. Fun. Cheap. Easy. Done.
I’m in. I disagree wholeheartedly with both of you.
I do think it’s golf. And the
question is past your prime, past your prime. Do you know
what you have when you’re past
your prime? A lot of time. Okay, so I don’t need the game to go
 for 30 minutes. I don’t need to
show up, play and get done and walk away. I need something to
take six hours. If I’m past your
prime and I’m done doing my regular day job, I want close
 proximity to great ocean views,
which you can do while you’re golfing or frankly, just great
 being outside all the time.
Great. Six hours done, great drink cart like proximity to a
transfusion is fine with me. And
then a fantastic lunch at the end of the golf round.
 Pickleball is stressing me out
right now because it’s everyone’s getting real intense
about it, and all of a sudden
I’m seeing the former athletes do it and they’re all up on
 Mountain Dew about like, yeah,
we’re so good at it. I don’t need that. In my past, my prime
activity, I just need to be
average at something. And I think, Kyle, if golf is going to
make you have that much rage,
 it’s I don’t think that’s a golf issue. I think that’s like,
maybe you have to take something
a little less seriously when you go to do the past, your prime
 activity. Listen, I’ve seen some
stuff on the golf course. One of the biggest viral videos this
week is some guy getting beat up
and thrown into a pond by an ex hockey player on a golf course.
 It’s terrible. People get mad
out there, they get angry out there. And frankly, like Jamie,
 I don’t know where you’re coming
up with these these hours and hours of times. You got three
kids at home, you got a
demanding job. I don’t understand the time. And I’ll
speak to my brethren, my dudes
in their 40s. You work your all week, you’re working your butt
 off. You’re away from your
family and your kids. You can go to your wife and kids and say,
yeah, babe, I’m going to need
six hours on Sunday to not only hit the range before the round
to play an entire 18, and then
have drinks afterwards. Like, how do you justify that in your
 household? More importantly, why
do you want to do that? You want to be away from your family that
 long on the weekend? It’s
garbage. Play an hour of pickleball on the golf course. I
 think. Kyle, you yourself
lectured us earlier this week about the devil’s in the
 details. The quote literally
says past your prime. I’m not saying right now, the most golf
my husband does right now is
when he packs a suitcase that’s going on a work trip. He doesn’t
do it in the state of
California. It’s not right now. It’s like when I am done and the
kids are in high school or in
college and I have six hours. I don’t just want to have an
 activity that takes up 30
minutes. What am I doing for the next 12.5 hours of my day? I
want the activity that takes me
an hour to drive to six hours of my life. I get to have lunch and
a beverage and then I get to go
home. Great. KB do you play pickleball? Yeah I do. Are you
the guy around? Like, I just
casually. I’m not good. I just I can hit it. Anybody can be good.
You can learn in two minutes. So
there’s two types of pickleball players right. So you have a
 teammate. Yeah. Some they allow
both teammates to come up to the kitchen which is that little
line. Or there’s players like me
where you get so competitive where I told my wife, just stay
in the back, I’ll stay at the
kitchen and get everything that comes across this net and we
start going. So what type of
player are you? KB are you in the kitchen or are you share
share the wealth I I’m in the
kitchen. I’m past the line I break all the rules. If you put
me on the back line I’m done.
But again, I would much rather do that than try to step up to
the 5,700th tee of the round I’m
playing and hook my 400th ball into the water again. I just I’m
over golf. I’ve tried my whole
life to get into it. Maybe someday when I don’t have kids
 and wife, I’ll rededicate myself
to it. But right now, just there’s absolutely no way I
 could justify the time. I’ve
only played pickleball one time in my life, and as the someone
 person who was that guy’s
teammate when I played pickleball, I can tell you what
kind of teammate Kyle Brandt is.
We approached this segment on television and Kyle was like,
it’s fine. We’ll make good TV
very quickly. Upon our walk out of the tunnel during our intro,
did I realize that this was not
just a regular TV segment? Kyle Brandt was actively trying to
teach me the skill set, and the
advantage points to winning at pickleball. And I was like, hold
up, I’ve never done this before.
He takes it more seriously than his just 30 minutes. I’m out on
 the court stance that he’s
trying to tell us that he’s all about, no, that guy was in it to
win it, and he was actively
dedicated to make this absolute rookie who was just trying to
mess around and have a funny TV
segment. We were trying to win and we did not. Kyle so I do, I
 do apologize. No, it’s all
right. But normally I have the 4 or 5 gimlets when I play, so I’m
 a completely different person.
I’m not allowed to drink on TV as of yet for my contract. So I
was very serious that day. Dan,
we got to rework that for you. Okay. Coming up, it would be
 great partners on Gmfb. No,
because there’s only one guy believe it? Get NFL RedZone now.
Gmfb rolls on. But we got a new
friend on the screen. Look who’s joining us today. Chase.
 Edmunds. Played Bucs. Played
them Arizona Cardinals. We played a preseason game, right?
Chase I hated going against the
Arizona Cardinals. That was 2018, brother. Yeah. Hey,
 jitterbug. Little jitterbug.
Nice explosive, explosive, explosive on this game because
we’re going to go against you,
Jamie. Exactly. All right. So Chase Evans here, Kyle Brandt’s
in New York. Those two are a
team. And now you and I are a team. We’re going to play this
 game. Since the NFL realigned
its divisions back in 2002, a team has gone from worst to
first in its division 20 times.
As we take a look at last year’s last place teams in the North on
the AFC, NFC side, you got the
Browns and the bears, respectively, and so on and so
 forth. You know these names
because they were kind of at the top of the draft for 2025 this
spring. So we’re going to tee up
a segment that we are calling Chasing First in honor of our
 friend here, Chase Edmonds. So
here he is. He’s here to help. We’re going to give a team that
finished in last place in their
division last year. And then 30s on the clock to make your case.
Why that team will be going from
worst to first. So Kyle and Chase, you’re up first. You’re
 available. Teams for this round
are either I’m going to give you two teams once your name comes
up, you have to pick that team
and make a case for it. And then the other person has to make the
case for the other team. Okay.
So we’re going to flip this coin Kyle and Chase you’re up. You
have to pick between the 40
Niners and the Giants okay. So who’s ever face we land on pick
your team and make your case
worst to first. Chase, you’re up first. Pick I’m ready. Brother.
Give me. Give me big blue the
Giants. I’m going to make the case that the Giants can go from
worst to first. Yes, the Giants
can go from worst to first because I believe, arguably
 they’ll have the best defensive
line unit in football. I get really nostalgic 40 Niners
 feeling when the Niners had
drafted Nick Bosa with the second pick. Do you know where
they ended up Kyle that year.
They ended up in the Super Bowl. There we go. I’m not saying I’m
not saying go to the Super Bowl.
But I do believe that with the best defensive line unit in
 football, you have a factor
where you can have a lot of plays that just get messed up,
 and that’s something that Xenos
cannot solve. Well done. All right, Kyle, this is great.
Yeah. I thought you were going
to jump on the Niners you went for. I feel like the harder one.
So I love a guess like that.
This made my job easy. In fact. Start the clock. I’ll go with
the Niners right now because I
don’t even believe that they were in last place last year. I
 think we researched that wrong.
That can’t possibly be true. I don’t care who was hurt. I know
Shanahan was their coach. I know
they had Warner and Bosa and Kittle and Christian McCaffrey
is going to be back. We’re going
to find him. Get him to get back in the mix. Are you really that
enchanted by anybody else in the
NFC West. Are you you know I love the Cardinals. If you love
the Seahawks. Are the Rams just
completely unfathomable. They’re definitely going to win the
 game. No Shanahan’s been there.
They’ve been a two Super Bowls. You tell me they can’t win the
 West. You’re crazy chase we’re
kicking here. Let’s go. Let’s start. What a start I like that
I like that start. Chase I like
the fact that you brought you brought up that pass rush. That
pass rush is going to be
something to deal with what you got. I agree with you, Matt.
Mantei. You know who I should
have brought up, who I should have brought up? Kyle. Scotty.
Cam. Yes, that’s what you know.
You’re only taking one second. You don’t need 30. See you
 later. Enough reason. Enough
that the Giants could make the jump. Okay, Manti. Let’s go.
This is the Raiders and the
Patriots. Okay, so who’s ever face pops up first you get to
pick and then make your argument
I swear if I come on are we frozen on my face. That’s like a
 half Jamie face. All right.
Let’s find. Screw it I’ll go with the New England Patriots.
 Listen, I am a fan. I am a mike
Vrabel. Stan, if you will. If you’re going to if you use if
 you’re a kid that uses
terminology like that, you know what happened to me in late
 April, I got the distinct
opportunity to go to green Bay and be a part of the draft
 experience, a draft in which
Will Campbell was drafted as the best offensive lineman. He comes
across the stage and I just saw
the tears flowing and it was emotion that I loved. But what I
 loved secondarily was the rage
that he had in his voice, in the protection and the dedication to
 his quarterbacks, whether it be
at LSU or now in New England. I think Will Campbell will help
anchor an offensive line that is
going to protect Drake Maye, who will have an excellent second
 season. Plus Stefon Diggs is
there and I love Mike Vrabel. That’s it. Get them to see that.
All right start my clock I got
the Raiders. So this is the thing about the Raiders is some
people know how to lose and some
people know how to win Pete Carroll knows how to win. He’s
done it at all levels. Now you
bring in Geno Smith that understands what it means to win
 with Pete Carroll. That’s going
to allow that locker room to understand what that dynamic
looks like. And then you bring
Ashton Jesse. Now I hope Ashton Jenkins stands straight up
 because the AFC West should
stand straight up just like him because he’s going to run a lot
of yards. Brock Bowers is there.
That play action pass dynamic is going to be there. But people
 don’t realize that the defense
is going to be something to mess with. And I was about to go as
you’re going, I realize in this
game now, and I wonder Kyle and Chase, if you can agree, all of
 a sudden you’re like, I’m making
this sweetly optimistic argument for this team that, like, has to
go up against the bills twice a
year like that. I just am like, oh, it’s a tough lift. And I
feel the same about the Giants.
Essentially every team that we’ve heard so far. But the fun
of this segment is trying to
figure out the moment when the person doesn’t believe the stuff
 that they’re saying, they’re
just preaching it. Sometimes you can tell they actually do
 believe it, but sometimes
they’re like, you’re full of it. You don’t think they’re going to
win. It’s fun. Kyle, off camera,
when Manti was going, I was over here leaning on the wall like
 this, just thinking about like,
oh, the well, the worst is yet to come. Get ready. No. Here we
go. Okay. You guys are up again.
You guys are up again. Two bears and saints. Chicago, New
 Orleans. All right, Kyle and
Chase. Kyle. You’re up. Make your picks the coin. You know
what I’m going to do? I’m going
to take the Saints. Screw it. All right. Start the clock
 quickly. You know why? Because
Kellen Moore is going to be the next Sean McVay. He’s going to
be the greatest coach we have
ever seen. He’s going to make Sean McVay look like Jim
 Tomsula. Like we’re going to
just coach our pants off. Because I don’t know if there’s
 a quarterback in New Orleans
Tyler Shook might be the starter. Sometimes you catch
lightning in a bottle and then
Shook’s going to be Brock Purdy I think Moore is going to be
Sean McVay. And I’ll ask again,
are you really terrified of anybody in the South? I like
Tampa Bay. Are they the 85
bears. No the Saints. And you can tell I really believe what
I’m saying. You got to take the
bears though Chase. Absolutely. Kyle, I appreciate you returning
the favor. You got it. All
right. You guys can go ahead and start my clock. Give me the
Chicago Bears going first in the
NFC North Ben Johnson coming in I think he’s going to revamp
Caleb Williams for his year two.
You talk about when Ben was with Jared Goff Jared Goff had career
 highs 73% completion percentage
37 touchdowns. They revamped that entire offensive line Caleb
is not going to be getting
sacked. Kyle I think is going to be really in due for a really
good year in the NFC North this
year. Yeah. What about my Saints in the South though. Hey you
know me I’m a little biased from
the Tampa Bay side. I’m so glad you took the Saints for me. Yeah
 I actually thought Kyle was
going to swing for that approach, which is just the
 other three teams. Instead of
trying to figure out how the actual team could make it work,
he did preface it well, doing
God’s work out there. You did great. You did great. Yeah. You
know, it makes me think like
when the first round of power rankings come out preseason, I’m
sure the Eagles will be one. I
wonder who will 32 be? Because I think last year it was either
 the Panthers or the Patriots.
And a lot of people have optimism for them this year. I
don’t want to cast this on the
Saints, but there’s just a lot of questions. And the Derek Carr
thing was very unusual. So we’ll
see. Manti and Jamie, you were up again. You guys have Browns
and Titans. I think we do have
the Browns and the Titans. Come on, go for it. Let’s go. This is
going to be fun. Why yes. Come
on Jamie, you have to get stuck with the. I’m going to I’m going
to take on the Browns. Okay.
Because you have to start my clock. I’m not doing this any
earlier than I have to. You have
a former coach of the year in Kevin Stefanski who is a
 brilliant mind. And you know
what he has if you want to spin it in a positive light, an
 embarrassment of riches. He has
literally an entire deck of cards of quarterbacks that he
could just pick from. He could
play one a game, and he would still have a leftover one for
the next week that they have to
play a game. Okay, at this point, we’re just going to
 rewrite the rules for
quarterbacks that you can carry. Five I don’t think the Browns
have to make any decisions about
their quarterbacks, because they’re just going to play a
 different guy every quarter, and
that’s how they’re going to beat teams. That’s how they’re going
 to take down the Baltimore
Ravens. And you know their defense is pretty good. Rack
them up rack them up. Start my
clock. We’re going to go back to back on them talking about
 quarterbacks. We’re talking
about quarterbacks. You had a lot of quarterbacks in your room
 Tennessee Titans. There’s only
one. His name is cam Ward. And he’s number one. And they’re
going to be number one in their
division. Why. Because they got cam Ward. And he was talking
 about Calvin Ridley. Now Calvin
Ridley runs some of the best routes you ever you ever seen.
You have Tyler Lockett. You have
Tony Pollard. And oh by the way you have a really really good
 defense. That defensive front
has been solid for a number of years. So Brian Callahan all he
needed was a quarterback. He got
it in the first round with the first overall pick with the
number one on their team. His
name is cam Ward, and there’s going to be a lot of touchdowns
 scored for the Tennessee Titans
with that duo. Oh well done Calvin Ridley. Some of the
 segments should be called heavy
lifting. I feel like in the squat rack right now about 600
 pounds on the front squat.
 That’s tough. I need a spotter, I love it, I know, I know, don’t
 hurt yourselves. All right, Kyle
and Chase, you’re up. You will be teed up now as we see. Oh,
no. There’s no more teams. Boo!
No. We’re done. I want to keep going. I’m up again. No, no, no.
Cabe. She wanted more reps. Do
the Saints again? No. I think we should redo it just for the New
 Orleans Saints. That is Kyle’s
 team. Tyler shuck, Tyler shuck. The Super Bowl s h o u g h
oddly, Kyle, you gotta add in
that voodoo magic while you’re at it, brother, we’re going to
need a lot more than that. Yeah,
you’re right, you’re right. Chase Edmunds, thanks so much.
Gmfb. Everybody. That was a hard
game. I’m not sure you’re going to see that one again on the
program, but one of us will
probably be right. It usually him of that every day.
 Fitzpatrick throws for the
touchdown. For all the ladies out there I’m taking I’m sorry.
You think they like playing with
Fitzpatrick? It’s nothing. I mean, I think we just have to
 stay humble. Magician. He’s
going to run with it. We got to make sure we know how to handle
 success and all those things.
Fitzpatrick puts it right on the money. Tua trots on the field
for the first time. Even Fitz is
leading the ovation. Well, this is magic. The chest hair is
mine. And for my wife. Get the
kids to bed. It’s getting late. He’s here. We love him. You love
him. Everybody loves him. And we
love him. Especially when he’s coming from a place of
 tranquility. Specifically a
gorgeous golf tournament on a wonderful day. And look at him,
 Ryan Fitzpatrick, how are we
feeling, baby? Welcome to the show. Yeah, Fitzy, I’m feeling
great. I am in Lake Tahoe at the
American Century Championship, ready to play some golf even
though you hate it. Kyle I’m
here, I’m ready. I’m ready to compete. It is absolutely
 gorgeous out here right now.
We’re going to ask a lot about the tournament. We have a lot of
things to get into, but I’m
going to make the sharp left turn. Fitz from Tahoe to
 Cleveland, Ohio, because they
have the most fascinating quarterback room right now. The
 Cleveland Browns. Just for
everybody watching at home Joe Flacco is there. Kenny Pickett
is there. Who you traded actual
draft capital for. And a player a third round rookie a fifth
round rookie. And that’s not to
mention Deshaun Watson who’s making almost 50 million bucks
this year and has been publicly
disavowed by the owner. How is this quarterback room going to
shake out and what have you make
of it. Yeah, it’s an insane situation right now. I think,
you know if I was a betting man,
Joe Flacco is going to go into the year as the starter. You
know he has history there. He’s
had a lot of success there. And I think it’s a great story. He’s
a guy that will bring calm. He’s
a guy that’s going to be able to get them off on the right foot.
And then, you know, as the
season goes along, when you draft guys early and when you
have young, exciting guys and I
know they’re excited about Gabriel, you know, we could see
him inserted into the lineup say
week seven, week eight, week nine. If they’ve lost a few
games, you know, as a guy that’s
been a bridge quarterback in his career, usually that’s about the
time you look at the bye week
and that’s about the time you get replaced. But I’m excited to
see Joe and you know, he did
such a great job in Cleveland a few years ago and looking
forward to seeing what he does
again this year. I can imagine you have so many, you have so
 much experience and you’re able
to pull that parallel so beautifully. Fitz, you also know
what it’s like to jump in and
out of locker rooms and organizations and make it work,
no matter where you’re at. Aaron
Rodgers now has that as a new skill set because he tried to
make it work last year with the
Jets and now he’s in Pittsburgh. How have you felt about this
journey for Rodgers and what is
this fit like for him now in the Mike Tomlin led Pittsburgh
 system? You know it’s an
interesting one for him and the tail end of his career because
he’s one of the most talented
quarterbacks to ever play the game. And it was actually he’s
up here playing. So I was
talking to him yesterday. He’s the only remaining member of the
 2005 draft class that I was a
part of. And I’ll tell you, I was I threw some passes at tight
end you this year and I don’t
know how he’s still doing it. I mean, it is absolutely amazing.
The thing with Aaron, you know,
aside from the stuff, the Pat McAfee and all the conspiracy
 theories and those types of
things, when he’s one on one and when he’s in a team setting and
a locker room setting, he is
very charismatic. He’s going to be able to win those guys over.
They know that he brings a
certain level of play with him. And you know, what have we said
 about Pittsburgh since
Roethlisberger left? They’ve got a great defense, but they don’t
 have a quarterback. They keep
trying to find a quarterback. So this is a good situation for him
to land into and to see what can
happen there. Yeah Fitzy, to Jamie’s point, you said, you
know, in your long career you’ve
been in a lot of locker rooms, and one of those locker rooms
was with the Buffalo Bills. Now
Josh Allen, the NFL MVP last season he led them to the AFC
 Championship. You being a former
Buffalo Bill you knowing him very well. What does he and the
Buffalo Bills need to do to not
only make it to the Super Bowl, but it always seems when it gets
to Kansas City. How do they get
past that? Yeah. Well interesting enough, I talked to
 Josh yesterday to this American
Century Championship is crawling with QBs. You know he’s he’s had
a lot on his plate this
offseason a little wedding which you know that can be good for
your play, that can calm things
down. And a lot of travel and different things. But Josh is
such a great leader. And I think
what you’ve seen over the last few years, especially this is
his team. This team has taken on
his personality. You even see some of the things that the
rookies say coming in. Oh my
gosh, I can’t believe this guy came up to me and introduced
himself and made me feel part of
it. They have something really special going on in Buffalo
right now, and it’s those pesky
chiefs. But I’ll tell you what, and Kyle’s going to think the
same thing. I think this is our
year, baby. I think this is our year to get over those Chiefs in
the playoffs and do it because
they’ve been so close and there’s a lot of enthusiasm
around them. And Josh you know
MVP now Josh is a really special player I know. Well it’d be very
cool if he got the wedding ring
and the Super Bowl ring like back to back like that. That is
just being on a heater. And
never mind what I think. I’m sure you’ve seen it fits that
 that Peyton’s been talking, that
he relates to Josh and he had to get over his enemy and he
 finally did it. You mentioned
Josh. You’ve seen him. You’ve seen Aaron. You are at the
 American Century Celebrity Golf
Championship in Tahoe. Never mind who’s good or bad at
 golfing fits because, you know,
I hate that stuff. Who’s interesting to talk to, who’s
interesting to see. Like give us
drop some more names. We live for this stuff. Like just take
us around the around the course.
Well, it’s an insane lineup. And the cool thing about this is you
don’t know who you’re going to
get paired with every day. And so, you know, day one, which the
 tournament starts on Friday for
us. And with Vrabel and DeMarcus Ware which Marcus was such a
dude. Vrabel is his kids come
up. You know it’s so much fun to play with him. But then it’s the
 comedians. It’s Colin Jost, it’s
Larry the Cable guy Larry the Cable guy Nate Bargatze you
know, last night Jake Owen plays
in the event. He did a little set for everybody. And so just
to be able to dip into all these
different, you know, not just football, not just baseball a
miles teller last night, it’s a
pretty cool T.J. Oshie, who just retired Matthew Tkachuk to get
to talk to him for a little bit.
It’s a star studded lineup and it’s a lot of fun. Absolutely.
It seems when I look at the
list, though, and I’m just literally going down the tee
times for these guys, every name
I see, I’m like, oh, veteran, veteran, when you’re a vet, you
got the time to golf in the
summer. You’re not going to see Jayden Daniels on that list
 because he’s a young guy. He’s
trying to work it out. He’s trying to make sure his second
 year goes well with the
commanders. He led the Washington all the way to the
NFC title game last season. What
is the league in for with Jayden Daniels do you think in the year
to experience. You know it was
such an insane first year for him I think with Kliff Kingsbury
that’s a great pairing. You know
they’re a great match for each other. And he just he continued
to do things throughout the year
that rookies shouldn’t do. It wasn’t just his athleticism and
 his ability to escape the
pocket, although those are things when you’re young that
can help. But standing in there,
you know, in the face of blitzers that are unblocked and
 throwing dimes down the field
the way the team and really the city rallied around him, the
 excitement surrounding them.
Now, it just hasn’t been there in a long time. So, you know,
 with quarterbacks, it’s
interesting. CJ Stroud we saw it last year. He took a step back
and he had such an amazing
rookie year. I don’t think that’s going to happen with
Jayden. I think this team is too
talented. I think they’ve got a lot of great people around them.
 Kingsbury really understands
them, so I’m excited to see what happens. But they are certainly
a team that everybody wants to
play for now, which we haven’t been able to say in a long time,
and certainly a team that is no
longer circled as an automatic win when you’re going to play
 Washington. Fitzy, I know you
probably remember this, but I played against you in 2018 when
you played for the bucks and you
came to New Orleans and you threw for like over 400 yards
and like 4 or 5 touchdowns and
Fitz Magic and all of that stuff. Well, there’s a
 quarterback over there by the
name of Baker Mayfield, who’s been there for two years now on
the NFC South twice. What is it
about Baker Mayfield. He’s one of the most underrated
 quarterbacks in this league.
What is it about Baker Mayfield to you that stands out the most?
I’ll tell you what Baker is here
as well. Doesn’t doesn’t have a great golf game right now.
Doesn’t have a great golf game.
But that’s okay. That’s why I love him because you just you
 gravitate towards him. You know,
just having some guys that I played with and through to in
Tampa that are still there with
Mike and Chris Godwin, they love the guy. He competes. He gives
them a chance. And you know
that’s going to be an interesting situation too with
 losing Liam Cohen and having
Josh Grizzard having to step in with a new coordinator. Baker is
really going to help him out.
And Josh, I was with him in Miami. He’s a really smart guy.
 He’s a Yale guy. So that’s going
to be to see how that plays out. But when you sit, when you sit
 and look at the quarterbacks
around the league, the must watch like must see TV guys,
Baker is right up there with all
of them. I’d say he’s probably you know Josh Allen Baker
 Mayfield Lamar Jackson 123
probably for me. But my son Jake Baker is his favorite
 quarterback. And he’s now
changed his name to Baker. So yes. I love that Jake
 Fitzpatrick. That’s awesome I
think it’s got a ring to it. Before you go Fitz. Let’s finish
with golf. You know, I’ve heard
Charles Barkley talk about before. Everybody makes fun of
his swing. And he says, listen,
I’ve been the NBA MVP. I’ve been to the finals, I’ve played
 against Michael Jordan. But when
I’m standing over that golf ball, I am so terrified. I it’s
like I’m not even myself. When
you’re on the first tee and all the famous people there and the
movie stars and this guy and
that guy and that girl, like, do you do you find a calm or are
you terrified as well? Yeah, I’m
just a very average golfer. And so the problem here at the
 American Century is the people
that are standing around watching think that you’re
 professionals, they think
they’re at a PGA event. And so they’re standing in places they
should not be standing. No, no,
I think that’s what you just hope that you get through the
 weekend without hitting anybody
with the ball. And if you do hit him with a ball that they don’t
get hurt and you could sign a
glove and give it to them. But I think that’s the number thing
and why I am nervous out here.
It’s not because I don’t want to be embarrassed and top a ball or
hit one in the water. It’s
because I did not want to hit some, you know, 70 year old lady
that sits out there to see
George Kittle and have a good time. I’m sorry I left you with
a permanent welt on your back,
but here’s an autographed glove from Ryan Fitzpatrick to make
you feel better. Fitz, tell us
about hole 17, because that’s where they go. Nuts, right?
 Like, what’s that like? Yeah.
It’s insane. So they they throw a basketball hoop on there and
you get to shoot a little bit.
But that’s essentially the hole. All the fans kind of congregate
around 17. It’s right on the
water. So you’re going to see 50 to 100 boats out there. You’re
going to see some other things.
They’ve got my 18 year old son on the bag. So he’s going to
 learn some things. Ladies in
bikinis and seeing things he probably hasn’t seen before. It
is it’s electric. It’s so much
fun. The wind is really swirling, so it’s not
 necessarily the easiest hole to
hit to. And they’ll let you know if you don’t put it on the
green, they’ll give you a few
boos. But it is. It is an awesome spectacle and really fun
to be a part of. It’s great.
Well, you are an awesome dad man, and we’re all parents here
and we love that you’re doing
that and participating like that. So hit em high greens and
 fairways. Try not to take
anybody’s eye out, Fitzy and say hi to Jake for us. You’re the
man. Thanks for coming on. All
right. You guys are the best. Thank you. You’re the man,
 brother. Thanks. Take care bro.
See you. I’m glad we got Jersey

55:10 uhhhh.. what a B***…. she chose the browns but did it in an incredible s** way and then completely makes a joke about it. At least Manti tried. Then that comment and sarcastic look about Calvin Ridley. I miss the old GMFB.
The endless sleeping on denver and bo nix.

Dan Quinn cusses a lot. Just not in interviews.
the best show is succession. not peaky
4:47 The Broncos did not in fact trade up for Bo Nix. A little bit of draft knowledge would be helpful given that the NFL is posting this lmao
13:59 Fake gf dude really isn't good at this.
Caleb Williams has to have the biggest jump! He has by far the best supporting cast out of all the sophomore qb’s. There’s a lot of room for improvement from last year, so it’ll definitely be the biggest jump. Will he be the best sophomore qb, no, but he will have the biggest jump compared to his last year.
