Get to know him. Jacob Miski, he had a big league debut to remember through five, no hit innings against the Cardinals last Thursday before he ended up getting pulled because of cramping in his right leg. But he has got incredible stuff and tonight is start number two. It is a Joe Ryan night. It’s a joe Ryan experience and the twins back home here at target field, the Joe Ryan experience, we’ve already had a little bit of it as he had the delay of the start of the game for his cleats corey, but he was excellent. The last time he pitched against Milwaukee, we know what Joe’s capable of and against this Milwaukee team, he’s gonna have to put hitters away. Not a team that strikes out a ton. Oh sal free about ready to hop into that batter’s box. A splitter and joe ryan quick work of free. One of one down draws the walk a rare walk by Jackson Chio and now great speed on the bag for Christian chance to get to here perhaps second for one. Correa, no return throw. It’s so wely that even with Correa strong arm, no chance to get it up the line, but they do get the lead man in run on first base two out swing and a miss, he struck him out with a splitter. So Ryan, a couple of strikeouts with his splitter and the twins are coming up no score. Bottom one, Jacob Miski, 23 years old. 67, as you said, second start at a crowder college. He was a second rounder for the Brewers in 2022 and the 13th different pitcher to start a game for the Brewers this year. Second most in baseball he’ll face Byron Buxton and the first one swung on grounded over to third. Caleb Durbin makes the play one pitch and one out. Matt and the m with a strikeout , it’s a big curveball by Miski and he picks up his first strikeout of the game. Will Castro, he tied him up. Scissor piece. Jacob is Zurowski with a nasty slider. You’re going to see that one all over pitching. Ninja. Fire it up. Oh man. Back to back strikeouts. A three of three down inning. He flipped into batting Bryce Terran or two swan that have missed. He struck him out third strikeout for ryan and there’s one away here for Rhys Hoskins lined to left field. Bader coming on, he’ll dive and Bader does it again. Superman head first sprawling catch by Bader. And we have seen that image that play all season long. I mean, the route efficiency on this has to be close to perfect. I was watching it off the bat. There was no false movement, perfect straight line right to the ball, an 11 pitch walk for isaac Collins and the Brewers have a base runner here with two away in the second and that lead a bit more Collins does and takes off the 02 pitch outside throw to second base and he is out perfect throw from Christian Vasquez and Willie Castro got the tag down and Collins is tagged out caleb Durbin back in the box check swing and he went , and Joe ryan knew that Joe Ryan was already off the mound looking out to the outfield. He knew that Chad Fairchild was going to ring up d if not the facial expression from that guy was going to be great. Joey Ortiz second year with Milwaukee swinging. Miss another strikeout for ryan. That’s five on the night and they are two away eight up and eight down zero for 17. Since he homered here, went back to back with Lee against Toronto that hits the mound right to and he is retired and that’s nine up and nine down to start his second major league start. And he walks Chio again. Is there a full moon, Chur with his second walk? And this time it is a leadoff walk and here comes Jelic Chur goes on the first pitch and no chance of going to get him here. Oh, did his foot stay on. It did barely no challenge here. Stolen base number 15 for Chur look at, he did go off and went back. Correa leaves the tag on him. Broken bat back to ryan. Look at the third but make the play at first. So the bat shattered into multiple pieces including some of that right behind the mound and was ready to throw that at those two guys. Say hello with one out and a runner at third. Contreras. The batter Contreras in the air to left field. Chris got great speed Bader coming in. Fires to the plate. Chio is in there. Sacrifice fly at an RB I William Contreras puts the Brewers on the board first tonight. 10 up and 10 down and here’s matt Walner as a called strike 3 , 100 mile an hour. Gas Mazurowski strikes out Walner strikeout number three. Second time he has punched out matt Walner. You remember Castro ended up with his feet twisted around one another and fell right on his R. There’s a shot right to Durban and it’s another 123 innings for the Miss. It’s Rhys Hoskins leading it off pitch home line to left. That’s a base hit, first hit of the game for either team and it comes off the bat. Rhys Hoskins to lead off the fifth leadoff. Man is on for a second consecutive inning against ryan line to first. That’s a double play. Cody Clements caught it, got the glove to the Bag and Collins the hardest hit ball from either team tonight, but right at the twins first baseman and the twins on one swing turn two. Now we call that the Tom Kelly play because he said when you’re a runner at first base and the ball is hit behind, you just keep going, you’re not going to get back to the back 2 to 2, strike three. So Ryan faces the minimum in the end here in the fifth inning six is Carlos Correa gets in the box and down. He goes at 100 and one. We are witnessing something special here in this kid Correa strikes out comeback sinker at 101 good luck. Ryan Jeffers the hitter, 11 out of Jeffers line drive to left coming on Collins, he slides and makes the catch. Jeffers is out and the tip of the hat from Jacob Miski and Isaac Collins sliding catch for out number two, so two down and now brooks lead struck him out one on one down and in and Misura is perfect through 55 strikeouts for Mis and he just keeps on getting better. Joey Ortiz leads off, struck him out with a splitter. So Ortiz strikes out the second time seven punch outs for ryan. So one away Sal Frelick coming up, Frelick down the right field line that is going to go to the wall, the speedy Frelick on his way. No, he’s going to pull up rains throw to first Frelick just back. That was very well played by matt Walner who has a cannon for an arm. And Frelick wisely holds up as Jackson Churel Digs in Frelick ready to run. He goes, Chio in right center. It is down a base hit Felix’s going to wind it up. Ball gets away in right here comes Sal and Frelick is in there over to third goes. Chur. Chur drives in a run to make it two nothing that will end the night for joe Ryan. He threw well runner at third for Jelic Jelic on the first pitch. A base hit to the opposite field in the score is Chio Jelic wasting no time. It’s three nothing Brewers on an RB I single by christian Jelic. He’s Cody Clemens and he goes, that’s a strikeout. The miz picks up strikeout number six, a base runner here. Let’s break the seal. We got perfect game going here through five and two thirds high fly ball deep in the left center field. Collins. He’s got it for the out, a long loud out call your friends call your family. Jacob Mazurowski has retired 18 straight batters in just his second major league start. Brewers are set up once again 1st and 3rd 1 away. Joey Ortiz and Ortiz through for a base hit in the score. Isaac Collins Joey Ortiz with a two strike RB I single, three straight hits from the bottom three in the order and it’s four nothing. Milwaukee now Frelick 1st and 2nd. Sal Frelick with a base hit coming around to score is Durban Sal Frelick with an RB I single. It is five nothing. The bases are loaded for, you know who and that is down the line fair. Everybody runs in the score. Ortiz Frelick right behind him, Chio right behind him. It’s a three RB I double for Christian Jelic and the Brewers in the 7th 8 to 0. Milwaukee Jacob Zurowski back to the mound as we go to the seventh inning. He has retired 18 straight to start this game. There’s a walk on four pitches and so no perfect game by at first base for Matt W a swing and a fly ball right field down the line deep in the corner, Frelich at the wall, not have a chance. It is gone and Walner with a home run to right perfect game. No hitter gone in consecutive batters and Walner, it finally came down and thankfully landed above that high wall for his sixth home run. It’s 82. What an incredible outing from Jacob Mazurowski and what a brilliant start to his major league career. He gets a huge ovation from the Brewers fans here and there’s quite a few twins fans tipping their caps to him as well. And here’s Joey Ortiz with one out and two on and he’s got another hit that’s a single to center field. They’re going to send Monasterio he is going to be in there and Joe O with a two RB I game, it is 9 to 2 Brewers Ortiz with his second hit. Christian Jelic will bat with the bases loaded for the second straight time. Center field off the top of the wall. Three more runs are going to score and Jelic is in the second with a double, he hit it to the wrong part of the ballpark. If it’s 5 ft to the left, it’s a grand slam but he’ll take it. Seven RBIs for christian Jelic. Tonight, bases are loaded for Joey Ortiz and a base hit. One run is in station to station. They go Ortiz with his third RB. I here’s Sal Frelick Frelick right field and caught by Walner tagging at third is Bowers and he’ll score and Sal Frelick with his second RB I of the game, Chio to walk again and get Jelic to the plate with the bases loaded. Oh, yeah, let’s go fly ball to right. That’s deep, Chio off the top of the wall and this is going to bring in two runs. So Jackson Cheerio puts up a big night, three walks, two hits, both doubles, three RBIs and let’s go. Brewers chance starts again and here’s Jelic Jelic groundball right side base hit. They’re gonna send Chio around. He’s gonna come around and score. It’s an eight RB I night for christian Jelic, a new career high for the Brewers captain his most productive night in his career. All bases loaded for Bowers. He’s in danger of giving up a run. France to right center field and that is down. Bright is in. Here comes Castro holding up at third base is Cursey and Ty France. His first at bat has a two run double Brooks Lee, 18 game hitting streak lined to short and there it is scores, Castro, I’m sorry, scores Cursey. It’s 17 5 and Brooks Lee a little smirk there dugout. They know the number climbs. So now a 19 game hitting streak for Brooks Lee Clemens to left and playable for France will tag and score 17 6. And Jordan Bryant that for the second time. Fly ball to right that Cameron, all right ball game Brewers win 17 to 6 is the final, but it was a dominant pitching effort until jake Bowers took the mound. Christian Jelic with eight RBIs tied a franchise record set a career record for Jelic.

  1. But how about Jacob Misiorowski? His first 11 innings, 0 hits? The first pitcher to ever have more wins than hits. 2 wins 1 hit. He has looked absolutely phenomenal! The Brewers have needed another offensive explosion like this. But they've needed another great pitcher to step in and take the reigns. This team has some really great young talent. If DL Hall gets back to his starting point, Priester, Freddy Peralta, Jacob Misiorowski, Nestor Cortez and a few others that can step in. Let's just hope and pray that they all can stick around for a while!

  2. Take away that win streak that looks like a total fluke now, and the Twins might be competing for the title of worst team in MLB.

  3. I definitely think Miz will throw a perfect game at some point this kid is special

  4. Talk about 2 young pitchers, on a next state rivalry dominating for 5 full innings. It’s gonna be fun watching these 2 pitch

  5. If I wanted to play someone that would get me out of a slump it’d be the Twins. Can we fire Baldelli already 😩. The Pohlad’s can’t fool us anymore because that 13 game winning streak was the mirage of mirages. These are the Twins! They’re who we thought they were! I can’t remember the time I’ve seen teams blowout the Twins on a regular basis except that team in the early 80’s that finished 62-100 or was it 60-102. This team could actually lose that many games. This season is getting away from them quickly and there’s no way I’d waste my time watching this team at the ballpark. These guys are absolutely no fun to watch and God I can barely get through the highlights 🤢🤮.

  6. Talk about a big time beatdown, Brew Crew style. 8 RBIs by Yeli and not to also mention a second fantastic pitching performance courtesy of The Miz. This kid is gonna be serious stuff in the near future. Go Brewers!!! 💙💛⚾️👊

  7. I'm not a Brewers or Twins fan, but, I like to watch the highlights of all teams & this Brewers pitcher, Miz, is throwing some Sweet stuff & has some Great potential.
