When it comes to sequels, I usually keep my excitement in check. Most just don’t live up to the original — unless we’re talking about Toy Story 2 or Shrek 2 (and I will not be entertaining alternate takes). But when Happy Gilmore 2 was announced for release on July 25, 2025, I felt genuine excitement. Because let’s be honest: The Sandman always delivers. And with returning cast members like Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald, Ben Stiller, plus new faces like Bad Bunny and Margaret Qualley, my hopes are even higher.
