As they celebrate 25 years of American Family Field, the Milwaukee Brewers are inviting alumni from all of the stadium’s seasons for a special event at the July 25 game against the Miami Marlins.
One of the events is a home run derby. Ryan Braun and Carlos Gómez will be the captains of teams squaring off. They will draft teams from this pool of players: Prince Fielder, Yovani Gallardo, Bill Hall, Corey Hart, Casey McGehee, Nyjer Morgan, Keon Broxton and Eric Thames.

First of all, it’s a it’s um a gift for fans because like you know see all back to to to Milwaukee and do this event and see all together we can bring a lot of good memory back to then and they can enjoy it because like uh you know Prince do some good stuff, Billy Hall, Ian, Ryan, myself, they all going to remember Niger. I can’t wait to see Niger do. I I want a hand to to hit couple homers to do that little tea. Um yeah, for me I’m I’m just excited to be a part of the event. We all look forward to having an opportunity to spend time together to see, you know, former teammates, coaches, support staff. Um you know, city of of Milwaukee always felt like a second home to to me and my family. We have so many friends still in the city. So love every opportunity we have to get back there. love the opportunity to to interact with the fan base again. Um, as Carlos said, hopefully we can put on a good show for everybody. Um, all of us have been out of the game for for at least a few years, but uh it’s always so special to have the opportunity to get back there. um to have an opportunity to interact with with the fans, with the community, and hopefully to put on a great show for everybody.
