Braves and Orioles game one happy fourth of July. Everybody if you’re not feeling festive. Now, I don’t know what to tell you. We haven’t even thrown a pitch yet. At Sparklers. We had a guy flying in parachuting. We had the barber shop quartet. Now, spencer Stryder takes the mound to start this series here on July 4th against the Baltimore Orioles spencer Strider has been really good things that bounced back in a really big way. You mentioned it. We’ve seen him throwing the ball. Well, the fastball in particular has looked really strong here lately. Jackson holiday still has that baby face. 21 years old. Second big league season. Oh, to the holiday and a ground ball out to first on the other end is Olson under an strider and a 31 put out for the first out here in the top of the first inning. Here’s Jordan Westberg, a breaking ball has bounced slowly to Austin Riley and he will not get it there in time. West legs out an infield single for the game’s first hit. No score. Top of the first inning. Here’s gunner Henderson and Henderson smacks this ball the other way that’s a fair ball and it kicks off the lowest side wall here in front of pro Westberg will be held late at third by Buck Britain and that’s going to put runners at 2nd and 3rd as they hold Westberg and now the Orioles with a chance to get the lead here in the first. This is ryan o’hearn who will be the starting DH in the All Star game again, the 3 to 2 and he struck him out time. Use a slider o’hearn saw a ton of sliders and that one. Spencer put that coin right in the slot two on two out. Here’s ramon loo R 32 come back or knocked down by spencer between the legs. Harry Houdini out there goes to the bag, gets the out. What a play fantastic. We go to the bottom of the first inning. No score. Morton back on the mound here wearing the wrong uniform for the Baltimore Orioles, of course , drafted by the Braves brief debut with Atlanta 2008 goes away, comes back part of the world Series title team, but this off season going to Baltimore and now back here to face the Atlanta Braves Ronald Jr who has been absolutely on fire this year and grounds a breaking ball to second nicely picked by Jackson for the first out. It’s a Braves game which Matt Olsen is in there and Olson swings through a perfectly painted fastball on the edge for strike three high velocity, a lot of spin to it and I mean, located perfectly up and away. Now here’s Austin Riley 3 to 2 P payoff pitch is lined to right field in between Lorean looked a little indecisive, takes it on the bounce and Riley has a single and it’s going to send Jen Pro up to the play, a 1 to 2 swing and a Miss Mart-n put him a hook. Charlie Mart-n gets two strikeouts. Orioles nothing Atlanta leading off the bottom of the second with a walk. Braves will pick up a leadoff baserunner via free ticket. That pitch nicked Drake Baldwin got himself in a bind here early in the second inning 1st and 2nd. Nobody out. He needs that ground ball and quite capable of doing that. Here is Ozzie, all the switch hitting second baseman three, two and a backup breaking ball gets a swing and a miss for strike out. Number three, a leadoff walk that a hit batter, but since Then, a strikeout and a pop out is in the hands of nick Allen, the 02 check swing and a curve. Did he go? And yes he did says Doug Morton and so he gets two strikeouts in this inning. We go to the third here. True is far. So spencer Strider 20 99 pitches in the first inning, he’s retired the last five hitters on just 12, two away for Jordan West West puts a fastball in the air the other way that ball is ticketed for the House. Welcome back. We in opposite field smoke job and Jordan Westberg takes Spencer strider deep his first game back of the line in a week and he puts the Orioles on the board first. Happy fourth of July Homer does make it one to one with a ground out to second base. Charlie Morton has been through the Braves order one time. He’s allowed one single. He’s hit a batter walked one has four strikeouts. Charlie still doing it at a high level. It’s going to be a long beats it out. Riley had a good trip to the plate back in the first inning. It ended with a single, a cunha at first one down. That is a fair ball cunha digs for third. He’ll pull in there and it’s a double for Austin Riley here in the third inning and it just spun and backed up and has to be hit and off to Riley said, yeah , no problem. I’ll take care of it as he smokes it down the left field line and now the Braves need a clutch two out base hit to at least tie the game Riley at second. Ozuna at the plate and he goes with a fastball here, a little two center cut but Ozuna flies out to the warning track and right so Morton escapes another pickle and he is through three scoreless one to Baltimore. Now in the fifth. There’s a liner by Tater o’neill in the left that is going to get down for a single in front of Pro o’neil turns first base and Tater o’neil his first hit with the Orioles since May. And now you get Cedric Mullins up to the play two, two for Cedric Mullins that breaking balls in the middle of the zone and that ball is going to be in the middle of the chop House powered out to right field by Cedric Mullins for the Orioles second home run tonight. It’s three nothing. That ball was just spinning right in the heart of the plate and it was screaming, hit me the entire time and boy did Cedric certainly turn that one around and it’s three a shutout through five innings of work. Braves come to bat in the home half of the six down. Three nothing Jerson profar will lead off for the Braves. The one swung on looper out behind first that’s going to get down fair ball base hit and a good start to the sixth inning. So one away and the batter will be Drake Baldwin. That ball is deep to right. There’s some fireworks on the fourth from Drake Baldwin home run. Drake Baldwin, we got a one run game that was on Morton’s 94th pitch and Baldwin smashed it. Braves are on the board. It’s 3 to 2. Did that hit Ozzie and it did and remember he fouled the ball off that same left foot earlier and he’s in some pain right now. See where it caught Ozzie almost in the same exact spot might have bounced and hit him. It doesn’t matter that’s going to end. Charlie Morton was outstanding through 55 and one third, two runs and will take over for him on for the 19th time this season , one win, one loss and a 450. Er, a last time he worked was two days ago at Texas working one scoreless frame, Michael Harris. The second first pitch from andrew Kittridge sharply a ground ball right to Anderson short. He steps on second for one on first make that two, a double play and a one pitch. GRE gets the double play and the Orioles are out of the six bottom of the ninth. Here we come. Drake will lead it off. Felix Bautista making his 31st appearance of the year looking for save number 17. Solid R A 2.73. Look at the opponents batting average just 140 three crowd trying to get behind Baldwin 12 and a couple of bounces. Unfortunately Ryder o’hearn for the first out one away. Now, Ozzie Baltimore this year 36 and oh, when leading after eight innings, hit a mile into the air. Bautista vacates and the shortstop Henderson has it the bottom of the ninth and Michael Harris strolls to the plate, there’s a two to one that was Lowe grounded to third Jordan Westbrook on a three for three night throws out Harris to end the game. The Oriole bullpen perfect through three and two thirds. Kittridge baker and bautista close the win from Charlie Morton Westberg and Mullins Homer and the Orioles start this fourth of July weekend with a bang. The Orioles hang on for a 32 victory over the Atlanta Braves.

  1. Damit Braves…your playing like 💩 WTH GOING ON down there..???
Come on guys get it togeather… ATL.✊👏🏻

  2. It is hard to see a great team like Braves losing games in this way, leaving many runners on the score positions.

  3. So the braves are bad. Ok i can deal with that, but the announcers are so boring, which makes them losing so much harder to bear. Mostly CJ then BG. So much better when Frenchy is on air with them. And what's with this analysis of Ump trends. It's like a cover up of how bad they are. Just get the ABS already and stop letting the Umps ruin games. "We have the technology"

  4. What they will never tell you ( MASN) is an admission that their cable transmission is faulty and frequently with video freezing and audio skipping and cut off. Their engineers are as clueless as their tv plus radio broadcast team. They aren’t even aware as are many of its goof fans who don’t know if they have a pulse or not

  5. you know o'hearn as starting DH is sort of a travesty to the 30 better position players who actually play a position but won't make the ASG
