⚠️ Golf Course War | Travel Series Part 3 at Craguns Legacy Courses

the Dutch blue course. I have now went bogey, double bogey, triple bogey. So, I think a hot dog is going to save me. Oh, it’s not going to fly. I’m going to hit eight iron. Hopefully make a good strike here. [Music] This might go in. So, after day one, I feel really confident. I got a pretty big lead on Josh. I’m I’m playing very well. I’m playing better than my handicap, per se. I’m kind of scared to get the blue going. Uh this is might be the toughest nine on the property. He’s kind of scaring the absolute living crap out of me. We could both play the worst golf in our life. You just don’t know what’s going to happen on the blue and uh it’s kind of scary. Welcome to round three. The boys are feeling good, looking to put some color into your day. We’ve had a battle so far and someone’s looking to speed off with a victory. After two whispering rounds, we’ve got JR at Ogre and Big Country at his. Take it away, Rick. strangers to love. You know the rules and so do I. So the final 27 of the Dutch courses that you’re going to see in this one uh had a good battle in the first 18 that we played at the red and the white. Uh James is currently sitting at minus 29 under par. He started at minus 45. I started at even. I am plus two. So he’s got a 31 stroke lead. We got 27 holes left to go. Let’s see this beautiful nine holes. How you feeling? What do you think’s going to happen here on day two? I uh I didn’t think uh I didn’t think that it was going to be you’re going to be catching up this quick and 31 seems like a lot, but with 27 holes, it’s not. He played really well. He shot 87. He’s normally What are you normally around? 92. So, like he played well in the front nine. I played I think I played pretty close to where I am usually. Like I’m one handicap. So 73 is a good score for me to start off the 18. So, let’s keep going here. Let’s see what happens. So, Dutch 27. This is blue course. Let’s go. It’s a good start. Nothing wrong with that to start the round off with. So, are you are you trying to hit those pegs? It’s like right where you were aiming. How do you feel after day one? First 18 holes on YouTube. Got two nines in two videos. If you guys haven’t watched first two videos for answers, make sure you go watch them. We had a ton of fun doing it. I’m sure you guys are going to like it. And Brad, our video producer guy, he’s going to absolutely put out baller videos for you guys. So, go check them out. How did you feel after that? What did you think? Um, pretty good. I thought I was going to be more nervous, but really it’s it’s not as bad. Um, obviously I’m not hitting the driver very well right now, but Well, I am just Last two times you put in the trees, you may par or par and birdie. So, par and birdies. It’s been better, been worse, but I’m alive. You’re going to hit a two iron. Absolute blade. Yeah, punch. I can’t do anything else. I don’t know how to hit a draw, but I’ll give her a shot. That’s so good. Like, you’re running that up to the green. That’s 150 steak puts it to like 30 yards of the green. That’s unreal. I feel like I need blades. I feel like I feel like I need some blades. I think that’s like the worst call ever. I think this is like a knockdown eight. [Music] Oh, didn’t drop on the fairway though. Not really. Not the greatest. Yeah. You know what? I think you need blades, too. I almost bought a check. Yeah, I think that’s the right call for you. Yeah. See, high hang probably the most you can do. Try regroup. Get down. Oh, go. I meant like get to the back shelf. I meant. Sorry, James. That’s all right. Bo, listen to me. It’s a good shot, though. I’m happy with that. Good shot. Another good pelt. Beaver pelt. Holy You’re like my wife. Let’s go. Put that out, too. Actually, no. Put that in. You know what? I’ll meet you up there. I don’t want to sit with you anymore. Making fun of me. Doing my best. I’m excited. Tricky little chip. Going to have to aim it high and kind of let it funnel down. You don’t want to putt that? No, not not right now. It’s a touch hard. It’s touched. What’s the like like when I play by myself, I never pull the pin. Yeah, I don’t. Well, yeah, cuz we’re lazy. Me just I don’t do it either. Me lazy? No, not me. That’s good. But no gimming. So yeah, it’s a good five from the trees. Odd. Let’s go. Oh wow. That just means finish out. I don’t really like starting with bogey. No, I actually like bogeies. Uhoh. You want me to tee that up for you? No, we’re good. Okay, we are good. All right, driver’s feeling good. Just keep it going. Everything else after that needs to come together. Right up there. Get up there. Right up there. Get past that tree. Tuck behind the tree. I think we should be okay there. Get X. That was a lot of top spin. That had a lot of spin on it. Try to copy me. Yeah. Yeah. Cut more. Cut more. That should be fine. It’ll be short of them. or you’re in them. I’m in them. Yeah. It’s okay. No way. Fairway hit. Let’s go. You really think that’s you? I don’t know. Probably this is you. This is perfect. Yeah, it’s you. There’s the red line. Wow. Hit the fish. It’s actually That’s shocking. I’m a stick man. I’m going to be getting blades here soon. Game. You just have one blade. Huh? You have one blade? I have one blade. Definitely don’t want to go in the sand. That sand’s nowhere close to work. You’ve seen my game. You’ve watched my game. You guys know you’re not that bad. Actually, I’m not that good either, though. You flushed that too much. Oh, pin high. Just missed it. Wow, I am absolutely destroying this course. Ah, Minnesota, man. Line change. You can have the empty one. Of course he can. Couple hacks at it. That’s an attempt. No, no, no. I was practice swings. I think that grass got me there. That should be Is it up? Short. Yeah. Short and right. Okay, I’ll go. You just think about that one. Didn’t commit. Tough man. That’s good. Good layup. Putt putter. Now we’ll just try that one. I should really do the same thing. What a waste of a good drive. I Dude, I told you. Look at the last hole. Look what I did. And I blow it by like you’re surprised. par. Yeah. Yeah. I see. No gimme. He’s got to finish him out. Got to finish him out. Good double from there. 193. Beautiful golf hole. Just can’t go left. So, James, just watch your The wind will help you. It’s coming off. So, tucked pit. That’s a tough golf hole. It’s probably as safe as you can hit this. That might even be a little short. Oh, get down. That’s your best strike. That’s really good. That’s going to be deep, too. Yep. Oh, no. Oh, yeah. It’s a beautiful golf hole, though. It is. Yeah. Just too much, man. Too much club. Oh How does that not break? How does that not break? Wind in my back, too. Take a little bit off. Are you asking or are you just telling the people? I’m asking. Oh, you took too much off. Let’s knock it in. Let’s go. Save the boat. Big putt. Oh boy. There we go. Nice roll. Pure. They’d say that’s pure. Those are bad. A bogey from over there for you. Par for me. Yeah. I almost forgot my eight iron one time, but then I just grabbed it. I think just taking over those two trees on the right side. Hopefully split them and hit a little draw off that. Well, I can hit the driver now. That’s for sure. Yeah, that’ll be nice. That’s for sure. It’s nice to actually just like say what you’re going to do and do it. Trouble left, trouble right. Try to hit one down the middle. draw. Munched. I don’t know if we’ll find yours. Probably not. Those guys are going to the the the hole that you’re currently hit on. Yeah. I was not good. So, there’s the blowup hole. Here comes Angry James. Well, I’m bald. I don’t know if you guys noticed, but you weren’t wearing a hat. I’m bald. So, when my head gets cold, is that been bald since I shaved your head when we were in high school? I think so. 181. 181. I’m going to hit a seven iron. Pins at the back. Wind’s off the left. It’s helping a bit. Oh, blow it off that. Ah, it’s two really bad. I just can’t hit a fairway now. Land soft. Land soft. Okay, it’s not bad. Not great. Not good. Have a nice bogey chip there. Dave actually worked out pretty good. It’s a tough bunker shot. Like 40 35 yards probably. Got to get it back on that top tier. So got to get up and down for bird. There we go. Whoa. Now back on the top tier. Like I said, got a chance of bird. It’s all we can ask for at this shot. Now Gimme has got to finish out. That didn’t break. I am reading green so poorly right now. So poorly. [Music] Almost missed that one, too. At least I parted, though. Computer double. Not a bad triple. Not a bad triple. I Yeah. make it interesting going in the last 18 maybe. Well, that’s Yeah, that’s why I’m doing this, right? Not put on like the high boat or anything. Wind here. Straight down fan par4. Let’s make a good drive. I don’t know cuz I can’t see it, but I felt good. That’s better. Yeah. Just cut more. It’s really It was hit solid. Think you’re over the bunker just on the right edge. 103 downwind front pin. Got a lob wedge. Just going to have to I guess make sure I get it over that bunker. Really? Oh boy. Get down in a hurry. They bladed it off the back. [Applause] [Laughter] That one there I call a shank. I can teach everybody out there how to hit those. Pretty good at it. So I think I got 75. Got 56 in hand. Just Just trying to get it up there. Heads up, Josh. That’s pretty well done after a shank. Watch this funnel back. Come on. Come on. Shoot. How does that stay there? Pretty good. Got a nice little bogey putt now. So, let’s roll. [Applause] Get down that hill. I couldn’t have hit that any better. I could not hit it that any better. Go in. Great putt. Wow. Bogey safe. The left edge here. You barely touched that ball, too. Eh. Yeah, it went off the toe. Somebody taught me that. It was Josh. Guy sounds like an idiot. It was Josh. I suck at putting. All I heard was that was Josh. I have now went bogey, double, bogey, triple, bogey. So, I think a hot dog is going to save me. Oh, it’s not going to fly. I’m going to hit an eight iron. Hopefully make a good strike here. [Music] We got one here. Oh, you like that one? It was the dog power. 157. I get more excited when like if he got it than I get it. Yeah. 157. Get my second one. It’s your first one. Blue jack. Your first real life one. It’s real life. Oh Get wet. Liquid [Music] loose. I hit the ball well. just it’s over there. So, I aimed at this. I thought it was like a nice flat putting surface. Must have seen the reflection or something. me up. Oh, this is really good. This might go in. This might go in. [Music] Just left that 150 steak and hit a draw. Should be pretty good. Beauty. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, that’s money. That is your best drive today. Yeah. Actually, you hit a really good one on the other hole that you got me by. That might even be a Costco getting put up between mine and your ball there. 100 men versus a gorilla. 100 men versus a gorilla. Could they kill it? Well, I don’t think there’s any hope. I have had very serious chats about this with a lot of people and I think that if you have the right 100 men, it’s possible. But regular people, there’s no way. There’s no way a hund guys could have I don’t think so. Five into the wind right at that tree. Troll left, troll right. Oh, you chunked it, but that’ll be fine. Yeah, that’s perfect. Just that is hit so well. Just off the back. Yeah. Oh no. Where’s the wind? Oh, there it is. Yeah. Okay. That’s That stayed up there. That’s crazy that it stayed up there. I got to hit it. I’m going to try to like land it into the front of the green or the whatever you want the face of the green and then hopefully hop it on and then get it somewhere close. Oh, that just killed it. Hit it exactly what I wanted to. This is not going to be a fun putt. Come on, get there. Go. It’s not bad. I did not see that break at the end there. Just did not just overre it. It’s good weight. That’s a tough up and down from there. Just a friendly guy. That’s good. No gear. Let’s finish it out. That was a good roll. Just missed it. Hey, green and rag. Sun’s going down. It’s freaking It’s getting cold. It is getting nasty out. Even us Canadians are feeling it. Even though I live in the softest province in Canada. No. Yeah. 165. Oh, that’s short. I’m just going to try to get it anywhere on the dance floor. [Music] I knew you were going to do something like that. Like, everyone saw your best on the first nine in the in the first video and they’re seeing your worst now. Yeah. Get some legs. Go. Whoa. Hit the pin. Watch your feet. Scaring it. That’s good, James. Thank you. That’s good. Always finish out though. Oh, give me a six. I got another one there. I know. I got another one. 315 to carry all that. 318. 18. Yeah, I don’t think I’m gonna do that. We just got to make a good drive. We split them. All right, that is crazy. I didn’t see that. You took it over the trees on the right. It’s coming back left. You’re right of the sand, right? Did you see the spark? I was looking at. So our pin’s right there and see the one on the left there in the middle. I thought that was our pin. So he said 139. I said, “You’re crazy. That’s like 200.” You know what’s funny, too? I’ve had two green in the egg. Do you know what though? There’s a good thing about this hole. Neither one of us is in the fairway. Yeah. It’s a positive. That’s a good It’s a good omen. Good chance here. Watch this kick hard left. Follow right to the hole. 108. That’s not a good swing. I think think I got a tough two putt. Man, this is a nice golf hole here, too. It looks better this way than coming into it. Well, it’s cuz you’re looking directly into the sun. It breaks some hearts if I make this putt, James. Left it short. All right. Don’t do anything too crazy. Oh, you didn’t learn anything from me. You got to be kidding me. [Applause] [Music] We puted well in this green. James is still practicing the sixfooter that he’s left short. three times now. So, hey, thanks for watching. That’s episode three of the travel series here at Craig’s. Didn’t finish strong, but it’s a good match. I think I’m 20 or 21 down. I know. We got to do the math. You guys will know in the scoreboard right now. I got to do the math. 18 holes left. We got the 18 layman coming up for you guys in episode four and five. Stay tuned. This has been fun. Hope you enjoy. Hit that subscribe button. Let’s go. 1. 15:25 wasn't a miss hit, he was strategically moving the ball to the other side of the fairway for a better angle of attack. I know Big Country's strategies!
