How to REMOVE an Odyssey Putter INSERT #golf #golfputting #golftips

This is how to remove an odyssey face insert
.
This is quite a common fault with these stroke lab putters when the face becomes slightly loose and you can feel it moving as you strike the ball
.
If this happens to your putter and it lies outside of the two year warranty with the putter, then callaway would be unlikely to replace it so knowing how to do this can be quite useful
.
By boiling it in a pan for 10 minutes or so, this loosens the double sided tape that’s holding it together
.
(Yes double sided tape which is probably why they have a history of coming loose 😅)
.
Once it becomes loose enough to complete remove, u can then try picking it out at a side, just far enough to where you can get something else in there behind it
.
There is a chance that it might slightly mark the insert doing this so its worth doing it in a corner where it isn’t going to effect the performance of the putter
.
Once you have something behind the face then it is usually quite easy just to prise the rest of it off
.
