Right, here are five reasons why 2011 was a vintage year for golf equipment. Reason number one was the launch of the Tailor Made R11 driver. Now, this was the first ever white driver became iconic down the years for Tailor Made. They’ve moved away since, but this one had independent loft and face angle adjustment for the first time. And this ASP movable dial system that adjusted the face angle even more, so you could go super open, super closed, whatever you wanted to do. Next up is the Titalist 910 driver series. This is the D3 driver. You can get it from golf clubs for cash for just £64. It’s iconic cuz this was the first tightless driver series that had the shore fit huzzle system. So, independent loft and light adjustment and they’re still using that today. Next up was the Ping S56 irons. I had these in the bag when they were launched back in the day. Uh these were amazing irons. Felt great and they were really popular on tour. They actually amassed 12 wins on tour before they were even launched to the public. So, the tour players absolutely love these irons. Next up, we’ve got the Nike VR Pro combo irons. Now, these are widely regarded as some of the best looking irons on the market. And Golf Course for Cash have got a combo set, four to pitching wedge for just £220. So, well worth checking out. Last up is the Odyssey backstrike putter. Now, you could argue this is one of the sort of early prototype zero torque putters. Obviously, a big craze of that at the moment, but this was a design where the shaft went into the back of the head. It aligned the axis of the shaft with the center of gravity. function over form, but uh could potentially improve your putting.
