a shocking flea market golf discovery First off give me a follow if you like golf and send this to anybody you know who likes golf Not at the flea market I always come across these old random wooden golf clubs and I’m always like eh whatever But this time I saw a ping and I was like you know what Let’s give it a try It’s a fivewood It’s a little rough condition on the bottom I thought it was dirt You’ll see in a second It actually was not dirt But you know I figured why not For five bucks you couldn’t beat it You know worst case scenario you just don’t do anything with it By the way leave a comment if I should regrip this That grip is a vibe but I might need to regrip it now I just wanted to shine it up a little bit So it gave it a little brief shine because you know why not Let’s have some nice clean things Clean the grooves a little bit And also it turned out that green stuff on the bottom was like a plasticky stuff But I brought this to the range I had the most fun I have had hitting a golf club in so long And I discovered that maybe I need to be a wooden golf club guy because almost all of my balls went straight I was insanely shocked Look at this So much fun I can’t wait to test this out on a real course because you never know with the driving ring range

  1. Honestly, all cleaned up, she looks great. Little bit of goo gone for the bottom to clean that plastic off and shes a beauty club

  2. I’m almost 50 years old and grew up playing my dad’s hand me downs… don’t know for sure if Ping used persimmon for their woods but before the major brands of today I used Wilson persimmons to learn… my first metal driver was a steel shafted Lynx from my dad…. There’s something about hitting it on the screws that makes it feel more connected to the game imo… actually working on refinishing a set of Wilson Dyna Powered blades from the 60’s that I used coming up… hopefully you enjoy the 5wood!!!!

  3. I have that exact line of ping but it’s a driver!! When u hit the sweet spot you don’t even feel the ball!! And the sound!!! Chefs kiss!

  4. I used to rock wooden clubs before I could afford legit ones, and I want to go back 😂. The feel from the wood is just so good.
