Yeah, I I always like to look. Um I like to know where I’m at, what I need to do. I was looking a little bit. I I think me and Lucas were both probably a little bit out of range uh to catch the leaders because there’s a bunch of birdies out there. Um but I was looking and I don’t know about him, but yeah, we we definitely fed each other. He he had it going on the front, I got it going on the back, and we kind of just exchanged some birdies. It was fun. Talk about you you’re you jumped you’re going to jump up into maybe the top 20 in the in the point standings. Just talk about you’ve had three top fives this year. You could get another one here depending on how the rest of the day plays out. What What’s the season been like for you? Yeah, it’s been a lot of fun. Uh, you know, from last year I played okay. I was kind of getting to know all the courses, um, figuring out how to travel, which tournaments I wanted to go to. Um, so this year I know a little bit better. I’m a little bit more comfortable. I know all the guys a little bit more. So, I feel I feel more at ease and um, feel like I can just play golf and not have to worry too much about all the extras. Um, so it’s been fun. I’ve had some good good finishes this year. Some really good golf and um not too much the last, you know, month or month or two. So, I’m looking forward to feeding off of this one. You uh I think three straight 68s to to start this week and then a really good round today. What is there something specifically that you like about this golf course? You didn’t make the cut last year, but pretty solid week this week. Yeah, last year I I if you’ asked me last year, I would have said I don’t like it that it seems like all the T- shots made me kind of uncomfortable. I But last year I wasn’t hitting my T my T- ball very good. the driver was kind of wonky. Um, so this year I felt kind of good coming into it. I I played okay the first three days. I kind of just scrambled my way around and, you know, shot three under like you said every day. Wasn’t anything special, but today I knew it would be a little easier with the rain we got last night um and pretty calm conditions and we took advantage. Moving forward now, uh, just talk about goals for the rest of the season. What do you what do you uh what do you look for these last uh three or four weeks before the playoffs? Yeah, the I guess the number one goal right now is trying to get in the open. Um, so next week I got I got got a chance at that and try and do that and then after after that if I get in great. If I don’t I’m going to, you know, shift focus to the playoffs. Um, trying to make the tour championship. That’s the number one goal. So you’re 25. Uh, one of the younger guys on tour, but there’s quite a few out here who are even younger than you. Uh, that’s kind of been a story all week. Can you just kind of speak to that and and the youth of this game right now? Yeah, guys are coming out of college um, better than I was. They’re ready to go, ready to play. You saw that with some of the amateurs earlier this year and last year. Um guys are top 10 in it like it’s easy. Um so guys are ready to play at 18, 19, 20 years old and um it’s just a shift. I think the you know it used to be it seemed like golfers prime was mid30s and now I think it’s going back to mid20s maybe upper 20s. So guys are just ready to go earlier. Um and I don’t know if that stems from colleges doing a better job or or coaching but yeah everybody’s really good at an early age for sure. you were second in the in the PJ Tur University standings. I mean just a couple years ago. What what separates I mean why what how would you assess your readiness and and what the difference is between say yeah a Jackson Kman out here right now? Yeah, I was really good in college. I I had I had good success. Um but I didn’t really play very many tour events like some of these guys are doing now and as an amateur. I played one and I didn’t do any good. Um and when I got out of school I was it’s a lot all at one time. you got to figure out how to be a professional and you’re thrown right into the fire. Um, so I, you know, I took a year on the corn ferry, figured that out, got my feet under me. Um, and then even last year, I I didn’t really think I was ready to compete. I was just kind of trying to figure out what I needed to do to, you know, keep my tour card. And, um, this year, I think the mindset’s changed a little bit. I feel comfortable. I feel ready to go and trying to win tournaments now. Like we said, three top fives this year, maybe a fourth, uh, if if your score holds today. Do you feel like that first win is is around the corner? I hope so. Um, my game’s definitely good enough. Uh, you know, I hopefully I can piece it all together one week and and play four good rounds and and come out on top. Yeah. But I hope so. You said next week. What’s What is next week? Are you in the Scottish? Scottish. Okay. Yeah. Are you on the charter? I am. Yeah. Tonight. Um, when you get it going on the back nine like that, do you have to kind of temper the approach and make sure you don’t get over excited and try to get too much out of the round? Um, there’s probably at some point there’s a, you know, too much get being too aggressive. But when you get on runs like that where you’re swinging it and hitting it exactly where you’re looking, you got to just try and aim at the hole and make it, especially at a course like this, there’s just birdies to be had. when you’re hitting it straight and everything’s coming out flush, you got to just attack attack. So Lucas and I did a pretty good job of that on the, you know, the whole day, mainly on the back for me. Just when we see, you know, a pretty good opportunity, just trying to hit as close as we can and make a ton of birdies. Yeah. Thanks, Jacob. Yeah. Thank you guys. Appreciate it. Good luck next week. Thank you. All right. All right. All right.
