Carlos was the frustration at
the end specific to that at-bat or had a been building
throughout the game. Yeah. It was, you know, being built in up and
the whole the whole game, you know, can go back and strike two
on soda. I think it was the second that bad, it’s not
even close to the strike zone, and then especially in that
situation leading off an inning. You know, you down to and you want to get guys on base
and kind of keep the line moving. So, you know, hopefully, so MP gets a chance here and then you get to calls like
that, that doesn’t they don’t go your way, just pretty
frustrating overall, despite the Lost that. I what do you
make of the way you guys fought through this series
short-handed? Yeah, I mean he was a hell of a serious even on a day. Like
today, the guys fought back, you know, we got down, you know, and they kept
fighting, you know, I thought they had bats were there, you know, throughout the whole
game. And yeah, we just came up short
today but where they were, guys, coming off the bench. You know,
Mauricio Beatty ready to go, guys, coming from the bullpen keeping it, you know, Um, how
close they’re in giving the offense a chance? Yeah, I thought overall not only today but the whole
series proud of the guys, and, What happened to Marty? Yeah the
knee flared up again you know it’s the same need that he
had issues with last year spring training. So you know, they’re taking a
look at him right now and then see what we’re dealing with you,
what’s your level of concern with that? I got to wait, you know, I was
just talking to him and, you know he’s like obviously I felt it but I got to wait and see what
the doctor says all the trainers. Joe. Carlos considering its Bull Pen
game versus freed. When it gets 25 24 in the sixth inning or you
like I would have signed up for this just to play it like
this. Yeah. I mean hundred percent. You
know, you get to those middle Innings and going into the
seventh and you down one, you know, like you like your
chances. I felt like we’re getting the momentum back
in the game, but they were able to add on one
more in the seventh there, but just to be able to put pressure on them. In that that in in, you know,
Bases Loaded, nobody out like, you feel good about your chances but again came up short but love how they guys battle and,
you know, they kept fighting. So yeah, it was like I say I was
proud of the group today. Andy, just also with freed in terms of
getting his pitch count up, pretty high pretty early. What do you see there in the
episode? Yeah, I thought we took some really good at-bats.
We made them work. We didn’t chase basically that cutter in
enough which is been a pitch for him. Him lately, you know, he’s going to that Carter, we fall off some pitches. We lay
off some breaking balls. We put the ball in Play. We
Found holes, we created traffic deep counts
in like you know everybody saw it I to get him out of the game
there you know? And kind of get into
their Bullpen. It was good to see that either. The play that you challenge on
Ballinger’s cash is how did you see that play? Yeah, I mean
pretty pretty incredible play there. You know, I probably the
play the play of the game. They’re you know maybe an inch you know, but they
jump off the bat was pretty impressive, huh? You
know obviously I’m Taking My Chances there, I wanted to give
it a look and he’s a tough spot for Lindor to be a to be in as a
base runner. You know, he kind of gets caught in No
Man’s Land There obviously. But again, I just wanted to give it
a look, you know, giving where we were at. I knew it was going to have
another one later if I lost that challenge there. And when
you when you see the replay, he was
a hell of a catch there. How much if at all, did you
contemplate walking judge in that spot in the field?
Obviously, I did, you know, but he’s not like I like the matchup
what was behind in either, you know, and you’re
down three. He’s the fourth inning. I think it was like, pick your poison there, even
though it’s Aaron judge, but given where we were at Bullpen
wise and down three. I wasn’t, you know, I wasn’t gonna do it Tony in that, sixth, inning rally was
pinch-hitting for Sangha, or Sanger a non-starter for
your. Did you consider it there? Yeah, I You did it but you know it’s one
of those I already kind of Almost Empty the bench there,
you know in plane we one guy like coming off a pretty good line drive of free
there even though it’s a tough at-bat, you know, right on rye. But then you put in lieu in a bun on a tough. Bad to ride on ride
again. Slow, I see got. So, yeah, I thought about it but
obviously, I didn’t do it. Andrew, what did you think about
the performances of both divinsky and Rico there in the Huge, you know, Devo goes out there. Okay, so
quick first inning, we send him back
out there, he kept throwing strikes using his Change-Up, the fastball and for him to go
two innings there, you know, kind of like what we
needed there and then Rico keeping us in the game. The last
two innings there in giving the offense a chance
coming in throwing strikes attacking using all of his
pitches, I thought the cutter, you know, touch 97. I think I
saw ya. It was a solid job by those
two Steve calls, you mentioned Mauricio and Bailey coming off
the bench, specifically, with Mauricio that’s now two days in
a row where he’s put together some pretty good at bats coming
off the bench. What has he shown you in those spots? Yeah, that he’s he’s ready to go
and then he’s handling whatever we’re throwing at him.
You know whether he’s in the starting lineup or he’s not. He’s name is not on the starting
line of his ready to go. Yesterday, we saw
it pinch-hit first pitch. He’s a dog. Today, same thing,
you know, he says a lot for a young player to be able to handle that role.
They way he’s doing it so it’s always good to see the
young players contributing in especially a guy like Mauricio,
who means so much time last year and I don’t think he’s been in
this role before and without you know, with
missing so much time last year for him to just it’s not easy
coming off the bench and you’re facing pretty good arms and he’s he continues to be
ready. Roger Carlos. It’s in sort of a
more big picture thing, you know over the last handful
of days you sound very enthusiastic about the way the
team is hitting. You’re now looking at a week where you might be getting Sean minaya
back, you might be getting code. I sang a back, you
know how enthusiastic are you about? What? That team might
look like at the All-Star break? Yeah, I mean obviously getting
those guys back is huge. There they are. They’re a big part of
this team since day one, we’ve been
missing Sean, we saw what? Kota is capable of
doing, especially in that rotation and then Winker that that bad, you
know, from the left side. So yeah, I mean, you know, it’s exciting, but we got to get
there, you know, we got to get there
which I don’t like getting ahead of
myself. You know, he’s one day at a time off day tomorrow and then back out on Tuesday.

Another horribly managed game
Why pitch to judge? And why take out the first guy who pitches two great innings on 25 pitches.
Quit crying Mendoza, Yanks lost a dozen bad strike calls this series
WHINER…..WHAAAAAAAAA
IS THIS WHINER EVEN AMERICAN….I DON'T KNOW WITH THAT ACCENT QUICK SOMEBODY CALL ICE
Half the pitching staff should not be in the major leagues.
John Bacon. Pretty low IQ
What a whinner!
quit crying MENDOZA
Mendoza has never impressed many with his
managerial skills. Winning
managers often do more than forming a lineup. They have an eye for pulling the
right strings when needed.
Bring Angel Hernandez back.
Disclose the score for the home plate umpire today, terrible job.😳😳😳😳😳😳😳⚾️
love this coach
Guy was empiring like hr wanted an Angel Hernandez buy-out
Yankees barely won this game, a bullpen game for the Mets and they had their ace on the mound. That team will not make the post season, but the Mets are going all the way
there is no way MLB was going to allow back to back sweeps of their prized team. That umpire is a disgrace. Yankees lead the league yearly in favorable calls and its no accident.
Great to c a mets manager with some fire
All this reporters ,asking questions and none of them brought vientos name ,this guy is not playing well at all,he's a regular 3rd base player ,he's not good ,he's not great ,he's just regular and for the last 2 years he was great at bat, this season we're in July already and he's not even close of what he was last season ,I think baty and mauricio shut be there every day and put McNeil in the outfield and vientos as DH
There were bad calls at the plate on both sides. In my view, as a fan, Judge probably gets more questionable calls than most of players in the league, and again im sure a good statistician could make a case one way or the other. I will say yesterday, this ump was making some very questionable calls. But then again this has always been a problem in baseball, it's part of the game. I would like to see data that proves or disproves it has got better or worse, or is it the same as it always was.
Mendi you are been doing so good it is hard to get mad with you about pitching Judge
Put your catcher 2 or 6 batting😮
Bad calls for both sides.
How did Jesse Weber get in here?
