Moorpark Golf Club in Hartford share has always been a special place to play golf the jewel has always been the high course and today we’re here to look at the recent bunker upgrades they’re going to make the course even better [Music] [Music] I’m here with Wesley Cooper who’s the golf services manager here at at Moorpark just want to have a chat with ways about the recent upgrades out there on the eye course so where’s thanks for having us here today and just tell us about the thought process about how the changes came about and the process yes I’m following a members survey we employed Hawtrey architects who are known for Harry Colt design courses so they’ve came done some designs for us along with profusion who did our more contracts works over fantastic I mean you know the holes that we’ve seen out there really have improved a lot so on the high cost how many of the holes actually got changed over the space of three years we’ve just completed the final hole so all eighteen have been done that’s fantastic it really is and a real improvement and a noticeable one early feedback from members visited more than what they say the early feedbacks been really positive we’ve irrigated our bunkers we’ve used the Robert Crumb lining we’ve gone for a soft dish sand with the but bricks irrigating can control the moisture so actually the consistency of playability has been key and that has been the feedback that we’ve had so far so you know consistency in thermos yeah that’s great and the members I spoke to out on the course today they would echo that they’re loving it they’re very proud of the the call so you know I’ve been coming here for years and a definite improvement so well done and you know as I say a great improvement and yeah more Park cycles has improved [Music] you
