The 2009 Master of Midshires comes to you from Cleeve Prior, Evesham and includes Round 2 of the 500cc Sidecar British Championship. All the top crews are in attendance trying to get some good points to take into the next round. Shaun Harvey/Danny Hogg face some tough opposition in Nick & Abi Radley, Simon Beard/Mark Kearns, Barry Bennett/Eifion Hughes, Wayne Read/Craig Mathison, Mike Read/Mark Hopkins, and Scott Dunn/Natasha Bartlett, and more.
A strong line-up of 1000cc RH Sidecars that includes both Rod & Gareth Winterburn, Colin Blackbourn, Richard Thomas, and Rob Bradley/Shaun Simpson.

Oh, I don’t like Five outfit on the line then for this race number 24. Another heat 500 car and they all get away and Scott lead in third place is in fourth place. Mike goes in back in third place second place going to the back for the first time and it’s Scot lead trying to close the gap in that second place position. Wayne has got the third but holding that fourth place against second place goes in white cuts back to the inside line by close the gap in four equal distance between these four as Scott Dun is the clear leader going into that pit corner looking to make it two to two and he hits the 500 times taking his head back there in fourth place. Can’t seem to improve on that fourth place at the moment as they go to the back straight once again. It’s just Scott D really getting away in the front now in the chair. It’s still Son of Beth are in first place going down the back straight 40 time having a superb ride there in that second place. Wayne gets a little bit closer in third place and it’s dropping back in that fourth place and Scotland picks up the winning ride. Second place goes to Sway fourth place. [Music] Race 27 the win for number 49 Gareth Windburn and Ben Hogan. Second number six Chris Spires and Terry Madley. And third number 16 Colin Pardo and Vince Kitchen. 362 44 and number 30. Richard Thomas picked up a second plane. So, it should be cracking action in race number 28. Out they come then what should be a crack in each of the big chairs. So, Richard Thomas going out to fill the inside gate into the next outfit to come out. Is he going to go back in and Fred’s going to go in next to Richard Thomas and we got Rod Winderburn comes out. Oh, very interesting indeed. Colin Blackborne will be on machine number 48, which is the spare bike of Rod Winterburn. So, that’s very interesting indeed. Rod always brings two machines here. And Colin Blackbornne obviously thought he’d sort out this problem ready for the post genetically. He obviously hasn’t. And he’s on the spare bike of Rod Winterburn in this race number 28. away to a clean break and Windburns have got away and Colin Blackborne has got away with him. Rob Bradley hasn’t been the best of starting the sandwich there. He’s back in fourth place and Richard Thomas goes through into third place. It is Rod Wind and Colin Black in second place. They go through the second place and Rod Winds going up the back straight once again. Rob holds up second. Richard Thomas gets takes that third place. Tremendous action for second, third and fourth places as Rob Winderburn is a clear leader then from Rob Bradley in second place into Pit and they go on Wind from Rob Bradley stalking his play trying to find a way to on the inside but Rob Wind has got tremendous speed going up that back straight. Richard Thomas hunting down Rob Bradley in that race for second and third positions as Wind is leading him from Bradley in second. Thomas went really wide on the exit from that top corner. William Brown getting away then from Rob Bradley and Sean Simpson holding that second place. Richard Thomas, Jason B have got the third. Well, this third leg of the 250 Le Street made a good start. Georgie Wood second Georgie Wood going through fourth to second is Lee Street leads him going down the back straight on the opening lap. Then Georgie Wood has got the second. Third has got the third. Jury in four, Charles in five, Williams in sixth, the other bird is in seventh place as Lee Street, the former British 250 champion lead in four in five. William six in seven and eight. That’s the eight as they go to the back straight once again. The top two are starting to get away then falls at third place. Craig Fury under freshman James for fourth and fifth places. There’s leak lead in second place through the four charging by Georgie Wood on the shoulder of Le going down back straight le on the inside Georgie Wood there’s two bikes behind in terms of on the left corner these two lock together first and second places and Georgie Woody front wheel right in front of this. I really wanted to on the inside to take the lead into the pitch corner for super 250 between these two with le on the inside. Georgie Wood against Megan to move back on the outside. Georgie Wood gets to second, Julie in fourth, charge in five, bird in six, Williams in seventh place. Adam Halter will be in eighth place. Tremendous 250 in there between Lee Street and Georgie Wood. Race 29 a win for number 75 Lee Street sponsored by Davewood Kitchens and Lee Street gets his final warning. Second number 96 Georgie Wood and third number 84 Colin Bird. 2110 97 9 73 and number 50. then for race number 30 John change in second andy manage in third Thomas’s in fourth they go in the back on the opening lap Tom Perry a very very busy young man here this afternoon obviously Craig Hoj taking it to James Moon and they appear from here of course so it’s Tom the top corner on Perry clear going down the last straight from John James holding that second place. Andy M trying to close the gap there in third. They’re getting away for Rob Thomas who holds the fourth place this year. But Tom Perry at the front line back around the outside and retake that second place position. There’s Tom Parish clear. Good race for second and third between James and M. Pull that second and third position third number. Randy managed to run through second place and consolidate that second place and John James who has gone for third. So it is John Curry gets the winning ride. Second place third place John fourth place Rob Thomas. [Music] Race 30 then the win for number one Tom Perry. And it is going into that top corner on the inside. Evson goes around the outside. Mark Taylor holds that third place. Look at John absolutely nowhere to go in second place. Super junior racing again is Shane Dilly the reigning British champion in six in seven Joshua Rocky in eight. That’s the top eight as they go to the back straight once again. Shane still leading entrance corn holding second place. They’re getting away from Natalie Willis who holds that third. Color Rock’s best ride of the afternoon. He’s got the fourth place. Zing now moves up in the fifth place. Once again on the Natal to go for the third place trying to get into James Shane the bike between these two as they go to the back straight once again. Natalia Willis again has gone back through Army of Common to get that third place and Zach closing down on these two in place in second off in seventh place. Tremendous action for the minor places and James Shane still leads Jack KS hunting down in second place that fighters now bunker in the third. It’s Connor Rock in four Willish in five. James Shane gets the winning right. Second place is finally winning five six rock and a forward walking 10. The youngsters have done fabulous again. Superb junior action race number 33. They’re getting away from D2 as Tony the outside again trying to come back into Rogers in third place holding that second in third in four moving in five six after six and they roll into a pitch corner on lap number three it’s starting to get away and they moving on to four in four off by the second flag has gone out there. And then driving up to the next lead of the 500 car in third Mike Reed in fourth place up to four. They go back straight for the first way to the first on the top. Made a good start. He then put four more in second. Brian cutting in third. Surprisingly Mike Reed finds himself at the back then. It is Wayne Reed. Clear the front through on that fourth place. Wayne Reed clear going down the back once again till Brian Cannon holds that second place. Four more up to third. It’s Mike Reed in fourth place. Inquisition between the four. They exit down to fifth corner complete. Lap number two. Then Wayne was in first and Mike Reed that third place position as they go to the back straight once again. Wayne looks behind into a big lead. Looks like picking up his first winning ride of the afternoon. Brian Canning consolidating second. Mike Reed goes through on side of Paul Mor to get the first place after that. Now looking for second place for Brian Cunning. This race is far and over for second and third places. Mike Really turning on the power on the exit for that top corner. He’s up to Brian Cunning. Second place to go into the pits corner for the full time. It’s Wayne Reed picking up his first race of the afternoon. Race 39 then a win for number 56. That’s Wayne Reed and Craig Mat. Second number 49, Brian Canning and Steven George. Currently, crew are all little anxious over that far side of the track. This is a real toughy heat. Red flag obviously moved their way into the tape. Whitney have been told what Colin Black is riding this time, but they all get away. And Rob Windman’s got away first. Looks like Colin Blackwell has gone with him. Rob has got the third place, but Gareth Winderman goes through the third place. They sort themselves out in that top. A lot of work to be done on that top corner back [Music] second. Gareth Winderman in third. Rob Bradley is in fourth place. Colin Blackborne interestingly back on his own machine. Look at Rob Bradley goes through on the inside. He picked up two bra. He went in that pit called in fourth. He’s come out in second place. He’s chasing Rod Wind now as a combined four. Rob Bradley goes wide. Rod Wind trying to come back through off the inside. Tremendous action between these two as they go to that lane once again. It’s Rob Bradley about two bikes clear. Rod Wind going into that top corner. Colin Blackwell has got the third. Gareth Wind has got the fourth place. Colin Blackwood has still got that third place. Gareth Winderman is in four. Colin Per was in five. They move out of that straight once again and Rob Bradley stolen the march on the opposition. He goes into that top corner for the final time in this superb side action in third in fifth place. Super sidecar action. Race number 41. Race 41, super action. W number 87, Rob Bradley and Sha Simpson. Second number 48, Rod Winder and Liam Brown. And third, number 25, Colin Blackbornne and Martin Smith. 49 and 16. Right, we move on to race 42, delete number 74, delete number 76, put in 362, John Thor with Ian Halot in the chair. Yeah, but they didn’t all [Music] get [Music] [Music] coming up then for the next Richard Thomas making a superstar has gone within Chris not particularly quick away he’s gone through the third place he’s gone through in the second place as Richard Thomas leads into that top corner keeps a nice tight line through really wide above that top corner the second John for the first fly in four red Skinner is in five that’s a five as a race off the back straight once again Richard Thomas put together his best line of the afternoon made a long journey up from corn to be with us here this afternoon making it down now into second place it’s John for in third in fifth place up Five as Richard Thomas continues to lead at the front entrance. Chris Fire holding that second place vision. Steph looking for third place of John Thor into the top corner. Once again almost through into third place. In fact he does go through into third place. John Paul trying to get back through on the inside and retake that third place. And John gets back through on the inside and move through into third place. Tremendous racing with the minor places as Richard Thomas puts together the winning Thomas. Second is Chris and Steph back in fifth place. Race 42, winner number 60, Richard Thomas and Jason Barry. Second number six, Chris Spires and Terry Madley. And third, 362, Dave Thorp and Ian Haliel. 228 and number 30. Well, we move on then to race 45. Race 45, fourth leg of the 250s. While we’re still working on the semi-finalist for the 500 side cars, we’re moving on to race 45, the 250s fourth leg, sponsored by Philip Tomlin’s funeral directors. Yeah. Heat. for the final race for the 250 obviously James Charles edition who’s going to make the start [Music] made a complete mess up the start he’s in eighth place in El fourth place at least street lead going in the back the first time James Charles have got the second place George Wood making big in roads looking to get that second place of James Charles on the should that’s the top four in five Georgia now goes through into second place James Charles again trying to get back to on the inside to retake that second place there’s leak lead into that fifth corner once again around the outside trying to pick up the lead in second five William six seven the former British champion leads him going down the back once again there Georgie Wood again trying to closing up look at the speed of Georgie Wood around the outside of that pit scoring lead street putting all his experience away holds the inside as they go on to fall in leads in third. Bird in fourth, in five, Williams in six, Bird in seven, Lee Street leading into the corner 4 on Georgie Wood again. A big effort around the outside Leant Georg. Third place is James five and Williams in seventh place. Absolutely fabulous truck there for those 250s. Lee Street and Georgie Wood. Youth versus experience. Superb 250 action. Superb 250 action. The exuberance and youth of Georgie Wood. The experience of Lee Street there. That was absolutely superb stuff there in that fourth leg of the 250. So show your appreciation. Fourth leg of the junior delete Shelon Derek putting number 17 Bradley Cockley [Music] for the fourth and final leg of the junior cracking up this afternoon gets the corner first. He leaves and he goes wide. James Shane slips to on the inside. Natalia Willis has gone through in the third place that fighting now looking for that third place and Natalia Willis to rock to go for third and fourth places as James Shane leading to that pit corner. 40 first time Jeff Cors making a move around the outside [Music] there. James James Le going down that back straight once again. Japcom trying to close the gap there in that second place picking that fight that’s got the third. Natalia Willis primly hanging on to that fourth place. The only good lady order out there in second four in n getting away from Jack K. They go down the back straight once again that fighter trying to close the gap in third. Natalia Willis drops the place as Totty goes through into that fourth place position and second to third up to four looking dangerous in six forward with seven up to eight n James clear going the straight for the final time in the final of the junior action. Jack Cors holds that second place position. So James change wins the fourth leg of the junior. Second place is Jack. third place up here to get the fourth place to fifth and sixth. Then we’ve got Callum Walker coming forward and finally Max C. So I’m sure they’ll come around laugh of honor. This is one experience for these youngsters. It’s the biggest track they have ever been on. It’s the biggest crowd they’ve ever raced in front. So I’m sure they’ll come around a laugh of honor. These without doubt are the stars of the future. [Music] So, let’s have a look. These youngsters between ages of 10 and 12. That’s all they are. They’re between 10 and 12. They’re the juniors. You’ve probably seen some of the best juniors in this country racing for you this afternoon. They’ve absolutely had a whale of a time. It’s the biggest track they’ve been on. It’s the biggest crowd they’ve ever raced in front of. So, show your appreciation. Thank you very much. They’re led rain with the reigning British champion Jack Luke Pal. No, he’s not coming out. So, he obviously got injured early on. We will quickly give you the semi finalists of the five minute side cars as quickly as we can get them through. Primary side cars required first of all the first semifinal 118 21 971 7 and 44. Semifinal number 2 72 56 55 49 57 and 123. When they go down the intermediate then it’s all the green third in five. That’s the five going to the back straight for the first time. Then Oliver Greenwood surely duke from close to come to senior racing at the end of this season. He really is the class act in this intermediate class all over the country this season. He lead the outside. It’s Lawrence Farber in fourth place. Matt S is in five. They go in the back on lap number two. Greenwood stolen the mark at the front. Bradley Smith hanging on to that second place. Billy Milton trying to close the gap there in third completing that second third four straight then goes Oliver Greenwood 311 clear then second behind Milton holding that third equal distance between the five of them as the left last flag is being made ready then Oliver behind in second in third in five as they go to the back straight for the final time. This the final heat for the intermediates. Oliver Greenwood clear up the front. They take the second round. Oliver Greenwood makes it for the fourth place. [Music] So they come around the lap of honor. So again, you had generous applause for all the other classes. These youngsters really do revel in the applause that you give them.
