  1. On grass and clay the single hand backhand is amazing. I think thats why everyone was using it before. Now tennis isnt a luxury high class sport so its played by all commin people. So hard courts are more common and less skilled coaches so two hands are so easy to teach.
The low bounce on grass is perfect strike zone and single hand can produce more power easier. Also on clay theres more time to prepare and high balls arent that hard as you think

  2. Taylor Fritz is the biggest freaking crybaby in the world. I root against him every time because he’s such a whiner. He’s like the LeBron James of tennis.

  3. Last year Taylor Fritz took part in a one-handed backhand challenge in Madrid with other players (Sinner, Shelton, Norrie, Korda etc) and looked very comfortable hitting the single-handed backhand.
To my memory, he had the best single-handed backhand of all the players who took part so this does not surprise me.

  4. In fact, it's a nice move, but it doesn't go through the ball, opens too early, it's easy to hit at this height and in the end the shot is quite slow

  5. i think people dont understand that a 1 hander is better than a 2 but its a way harder shot to nail consistently.
A 1 hander can have way more spin and power and can go any direction as well. The problem is the consistency, the talent and the practice you have to give for it

  6. One handed looks good ,but with two-handed you get more control and less unforced errors. And it's way easier to defend with two-handed.
