Grey Walls, known for having Michigan’s most extreme undulating fairways, blind shots, and terrain like nowhere else in our state. The best part, we’re trying to break the course record.

We’re going in completely blind. So, let’s see. Can we get the job done? If there’s something about this course, it’s hard. Hi, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome back to episode number two of season 3 breaking 100 course records. And today we are the furthest north we have ever been up here in Michigan playing Greywalls. When Michiganers talk about Michigan golf, this is the course that comes to mind. This is one that people always bring up, but people don’t make the 6-hour drive to play.
Exactly. And we made the 6-hour drive. We’re up here in the Upper Peninsula. We’re going to take on Grey Walls today.

All right. So, supposedly the course is like half a mile or a 5minute drive away from the clubhouse. So, we literally we’re getting shuttled out there right now cuz a lot of people I guess apparently get lost.
You pull up to this course and there’s it’s a normal course and then you’re like, “Where’s Grey Walls?” and they’re like, “Oh, we got to take you out to Great Walls.” And now we’re going through the northern Michigan forests. It’s different up here.
It feels like a whole new state.
So, this is the third. Okay.
You’re going to be happy to see this one after we play the first two because you won’t you won’t be at par. You don’t think we’ll be even par after the first two?
They’re the hardest holes on the course. So, we’ll be able to see where the flag is over here. It probably doesn’t matter. Um, I’ll look at the greens and the way they go.

Where are you aiming? That bunker all the way out there to the left’s 280 to that right edge. So, you want to aim about a bunker and a half to the right or two bunkers.
This is if you’re too right, then you do fall right. But with this wind, the line might be a little more clear. Okay.

Again, this season 3 is going to be the top Michigan courses. We’re traveling all around to the top rated courses in the state of Michigan, showing you guys what the state has to offer, the beauty, the hidden beauty it has that a lot of people don’t know about. Started out at Kingsley last week and now we’re here in Marquette, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula playing Grey Walls with 600 par as the goal today. I think that guy’s hyping this up too too much. I think if we just play safe, we’re going to we’re going to get 600. I don’t think we’re safe on the first T.

I think this is honestly going to be a very very true test of golf. It’s going to test everything. It’s going to test your long game. It’s going to test obviously your wedges here. It’s going to test your putting.

It’s going to test your patience. This tough little wedge shot here. I think the play is going to be try and kill it right in the front of the slope. Anything on the green here is going to be good.

I’d say the biggest surprise I’ve had at this course here today is that I didn’t know it’s so hilly like this. I thought it was pretty flat with like maybe some hills with the rocks and but we’re like up here. You see the water in the distance. If you don’t know about the Great Lakes, it’s the biggest freshwater lakes in America. Some people don’t know. I know it’s kind of obvious, but chunk fairway soft. Soft landed soft.
