Faced a similar situation once, only that wedding party was taking photos about 5 yards beyond the green. I guess there was a background they really wanted in the pics. I waited for a solid 5 minutes, hoping they’d move on. But once the group behind me showed up, it forced my hand.
I puss’d out and laid up 10 yards short of the green. But once I got to the green, I heard the photographer say “well, I guess this is our hint to move on”. lol. Poor bastard didn’t think a golfer hitting a ball in their direction was the hint.

8 iron. I may leave it short but even if I thin the shit out of it I don’t think I get it there.
TotallyNotDad
Easy 8 iron, worst case it will roll off the back

The fact that they let you play near a ceremony means you should not have your wedding there

My local always has ceremonies just behind 18 green. It’s a par 5 but if you stripe a drive you have a good shot at 3 wood into the green on 2nd shot. I hate it.

I was gonna say I’m laying it up but my pitch shot has a 50/50 chance of skulling it clear over the green as well.

My buddy has a game where he tells guests when they ask distance in on 18, that the clubhouse is “further away than it looks” (right behind the green, par 4) and it’s forgiving.
Your approach shot is about 150-180 uphill, cart path on 3 sides of the green, with the clubhouse maybe 15 yards behind the back and no protective barrier.
It has yielded the exact results you imagine.
One ambitious gentlemen scolded a 200 yard 5i that hit the (full) patio so hard that it bounced onto the roof.

My laser said 180, so I’m hitting 180.

Seven iron, hopefully land softly on the green. Most likely, I will send it left into the trees and rough.

I am hitting 7 iron which inusually hit between 150-160, I grew up playing a course that long was dead and I have yet to get it into my mind that sometimes long is fine.
