Go an opening day 67 here. Early days, but obviously you’re currently in the lead. So, what’s your reaction?
Um, yeah, I’m very happy with how I played today. I had an incredible group and it’s, um, playing with Lauren and Madlin. And I think on the front line, Meline and I had a bit of a birdie feast as well. So, we kept just going, which was really cool. It was really motivating to, you know, um, just be birdies all around really. But, um, played really, really solid on the front nine. Um, still decent on the back nine, but just didn’t really make much more. Um, no. Happy with the game. And
the wind did pick up on a few of those holes out there, didn’t it?
Yeah, it really picked up on the last what, five or six holes. Um, so yeah, it’s probably going to be difficult this afternoon, but I think the forecast is to be the same tomorrow. So, I think it’ll be pretty much the same for everybody by the time the weekend comes.
It’s a it’s a really hectic time of year. You were playing pretty well on the LE up to Tenneref, then obviously you went over to the States. You were playing very well on the L up to then. So, you must have felt your game is in pretty good pretty good shape coming here.
Yeah, for sure. Sure. I feel like I’ve had a couple good finishes on L. I’ve had a really good finish at US Open which was very encouraging. Um so I think you know I’m very excited about the next couple events as well. Some some of the majors now coming up in Europe and I think this is a really good test as well. You know there’s a lot of LPJ girls here this week. Um so it’s really cool to kind of measure my game against some of them already um in yeah looking forward to next week as well.
And of course the SHA Cup captain’s here this week as well. So always a good week to play well.
That’s right. I saw on the range this morning but you know obviously that is one of one of my goals. um for next year, but still a lot of golf until then. So, I’m just trying to to get better every day and we’ll see what happens.
