Played golf for more than 30 years and yesterday was my first! Average golfer at best, which, makes it even more improbable.

My 9 iron is a Callaway X-18, which I received as my first brand new set of irons from my wife when I turned 40…and that was 17 years ago! Love the irons! I played the Costco Kirkland Signature ball, and really like it. Bought the two-dozen pack at my local Costco a few weeks ago and the ball really performs well! Now it’s the ONLY ball I’ll play!

Had a set of X18 irons, after 5 years I foolishly upgraded to the latest and greatest and I still regret giving the irons away to a friend who then got rid of them a few years later. Were the best irons I owned
