Justin what was the experience
of making your first Major League start in that atmosphere?
That was fun. It’s literally what you play for,
right? One of the biggest rivalries, you know, all in New
York here basically watching the game. So it’s there’s a lot
of fun. Try to keep, try to keep it,
keep it calm out there but yeah a lot of fun a lot of a lot of
emotions but it was a good time mention, keeping it calm. How
are you able to maintain calm after that, start and
settlement? I think I mean, I like to think that’s one of Of the things that
I do pretty well is kind of keep it level headed out
there and keep it keep everything under control. So obviously that’s not the
start. You’re looking to get off to but just know that the best pitches
are ahead of you, right? You know good hitters hit pitches and he’s got to keep going. Try to give the team as much as
you can out there. That’s obviously, what I’m what
I’m here for is to, you know, to give some Innings to a team. So, yeah. It’s I see that not the start that
you want, but keep the team in the game and
give them chance to win. Is all I’m looking for We said always a two-run home
run. How much does that change? How you feeling your mindset of
it? Yeah you don’t want to you don’t want to get behind too
much obviously said that the fact that the fact that they come right
back is huge gives you the confidence to all
right, keep going not. Now we keep it right here. Stop, stop it here and you’re
still in the game. You still have a chance to win. So that
was yeah. Awesome. Answer by us read. Carlos was talking a little bit
about the conversation you guys had in. Between the 8th and 9th,
just what was your Vantage Point of it? And the thought you
were trying to get across to him there, I was trying to walk away so he
can take me again. You keep telling me it, go out there, take a picture
of time better at a time, execute your pitches and just go right after him. So
that’s what I try to do. Yes. Trying to avoid them. So you can
take nothing knowing where the bullpen was
at, who was that something when you came into the eighth that
you thought to yourself? I am going to close this thing out. I was saying about getting the
first A out. And then I was thinking about
getting a guy out behind him. I wasn’t trying to think six
out, so just trying to think picture time, hit her a time, and try to close out the eighth and I had to go back out for the
ninth clothes out the night. But yeah, just push it a time.
Would you think about the second out of the night?
That’s sick. Yeah, that was an unbelievable play by Jeff is
fired up. I mean Unbelievable Team game today. We battled got down early, but
didn’t give up. I think we’ve shown a lot over the last
couple months or last month of just like, who we are as a
team. I think if you back us into a
corner going to fight our way out of it. So I think that’s the
biggest thing. When you do come back out for the ninth. How
aware are you? That, you know, anybody gets on judge is
going to come up but if you can keep them off, you don’t phase
me. I was just trying to take a
picture side. Yeah, obviously, I mean it’s a
good team. It’s a good baseball team, a lot of really good players
over there but I think for me the biggest thing was just
trying to slow it down and execute one at a time. So didn’t have to face them today.
Doesn’t mean I won’t have to face them again some other time
but yeah, it was overall just an
unbelievable team team again. Right. Yeah it’s it’s been a growing the month of
June was a grind. So I think he a little bit of
that, a little bit of like this is a huge Series. This is what everybody in New York looks
forward to. So to get the last six is was big for me and just kind of a little subtle reminder that
just keep going. Keep fighting what’s a moment for you. Like, I mean, you running The first base. You got
your hands clasped behind your back. You’re looking at The
Dugout and we’ll what’s going through your mind at that
moment, said a home run to take the lead so there’s a lot of fun. They’re good team over there and was able to get a pitch and drive it and and I’ll feel like I don’t hit
that many home runs in that situation so you know to be able
to do it is it was enjoyed that one in the ninth when it’s hit that
way, obviously have to go to a dive like, how aware are you
even that? You’re gonna have time to throw them out, just
what would tear through? You can I mean first party plays get a good jump and you know,
try to get to the ball and I felt like when that ball hit my glove, I said my gloves and then, you know, not throw him out so those I know it’s big play because I
knew judge was up for that inning and you know, we don’t
want him come to the plate. And so that’s why I was so excited about that one that was just kind of a
last-ditch thing. Yeah, I feel like that’s,
you know, just playing a bunch of second
base. I feel like that’s You know, kind of Sometimes the best way to get
it, you know, it’s by you gotta just throw your glove at it and you know kind of like kind of
scoop it. So have made a play the quite like
that but make some similar and we get enjoy more of the play,
The Homer. I mean the homework sick. I love that homeworks. I don’t
get that many but at the same time you know that you know because I hit the home
run, you know I think that play you know it was a little bit
bigger so you know always take pride in my
defense Well but I will say the homeroom sick. Change it right there. Yeah you thinking that you might
sorry. There are you just going to read? Yeah it’s his best
pitch, you know, throw me a fastball
down in the zone and not feel like I’ve gotten pretty good
battles with him. I think I’ve gotten some 32
counts and you know I had a feeling it’s
you know, that fastball down he might try to throw a changeup
off of it or I was expecting something down. So you start out
of the hand and it’s kind of through the barrel
the ball. And what was it like to see one side
of the Do what you did today on the
stage? Yeah, I was awesome. He had a great
day, huge home run and you know, that’s just who he is,
you know, it’s fun. It’s fun to watch and I feel like every time he’s
coming, the place can do something. Cool. Reba, she’s
talking about being a little emotional, just because he knows
these are big games in the big series fans care a lot
about it. I mean, how much of that resonated throughout the class
of you guys especially you know, not playing your best
for a lot of June. Yeah, well maybe these are huge games Yankees are good team and you know it’s always a battle
with them. We’ve had some pretty back and forth games and very emotional and you know, I
feel like that’s a playoff play if like atmosphere. So that’s you know what? We expect to play
in front of and we enjoyed it. What does it feel like maybe you
guys are starting to make some progress in common to the
whole, the last few days. Yeah. Um, you know, we’ve been playing really well at home, so it’s
always nice to be here. And not feel like, you
know, where we get here, we play some pretty good baseball
and you always gotta keep it rolling. Given more of the stuff is, as an offensive to
feel, maybe more responsibility to perform put together some
good at-bats. And I mean that’s always a goal.
You want to put together many good at-bats possible
throughout the game and you know, so if we can do that
and we got a great offense here, so I feel like we’re in a
good spot and, you know, pictures are going to
regulate, they’re going to battle and you know, we’re gonna hopefully
be in a good spot. The end of year one Carlos was talking
about that homerun is as a real Turning Point moment in the
game. Did you feel the importance of that given
the, the start in that first
inning? Yeah. The whole divorce. And I
mean, any time you’re going through for the team, it’s
always great. And, you know, when you put the team back, To
the game. After give off two rounds right there, you know,
give a little brief to the starter to start over. So to start, you know, from that point on
just start throwing the ball better and he did it to that.
Did you see? And pay attention of the
standing ovation? You got not first up. No, I did. I did it one. When when Neil hits the go-ahead Home Run, he was very emotional. Going
down the first base line. What was it? Like to see that kind of celebration for
him. It’s great. It’s great, you know to recite in to see a guy like
that, you know, me grind. See every day to come. To come work every day to taste
into the work and everyday give uses 100%. I feel like it’s
great to see when he got some results and you know, give the team elite I just feel good right now. I’m
seeing the ball really? Well, I feel like I’m trying to get take my
chances when I sit in the back. I’m trying to do damage every
time and you know, try to help the team to to you know, win some games. Did you think McNeil had a
chance to get to that ball in the night? Mmm, I wasn’t sure how hard it was
hit. I was coming in hard, try to charge it and see what we can do, but definitely he comes out of
nowhere and just die for the ball and it really, really
got me shocked. They just great great Vibe. So I
feel the defense show up today and show the love that
they’ve been doing since they want. So really happy and
excited to play for those fans.

No that was just last 3 games what we did in pride month was cursed cause of that reason we went south but we still got this now that’s pride month is over and we will get most players back this month funny how that works huh they get hurt during pride month and then come back when Over js open mind and eyes everyone God is speaking
I don't know man he just don't seem excited. The guy from the Nationals to Padres , Yankees and now Mets. He just don't have excitement! He doesn't talk to anyone or anything. He's mostly just about himself and helping the team. But you can see it everytime he's not talking to anyone. It's depressing! He's probably the reason for the Mets slump.
HELLUVA WIN FOR THE METS TODAY
Love my mets ❤👍🏆🇩🇴
Juan Soto 🇩🇴 22 la fiera
WTG REED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Soto with 80s sun glasses 😮
Let's go Mets
Phenomenal job Reed 👏💪🔥
GLORY!!!'m favoured, $45,580 biweekly! And am retired i can now give back to the locals in my community and also support God's work and the church. God bless America 🇺🇸 ❤️
LOVED how the Mets kept fighting back and McNeil with the punch in the mouth to send the Yankees reeling
Sotoooo:)
Finally Garrett let the catcher do his job 🎉🎉🎉
Soto got his confidence back 100%
❤❤
Soto es el mejor bendición para el.
I would have preferred Mendoza let Hageman finish the inning. Relatively low pitch count and he already started the inning.

I love Soto for that. No love lost Yankees. Business is business. No take away from the Yankees greatest, Soto is just a Met now that's all. Good baseball!!!
Yes ‼️ Team had a wonderful game today ! Proud of them
Can't wait for Michael Kay to rant how unhappy Soto is unhappy. Being a Met again, 5 losses in a row, lose 1st place, Yankees well on the way of locking down 3rd place
The most wonderful thing about all of this? Is that the MUTS will not win a world championship any time in the near future LOLOL. There are so many teams that are going to take this shithole of a team down, it's just too laughable, and rightfully so. Cheer on you fans of the city named after a toilet bowl 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Your hopes of a WS are going to come crashing down as the season continues, just you wait 😂😂😂😂😂
😭 Lets Go Yankees ⚾ 🎇
