Jimmy White played incredibly well in his match against Anthony McGill. And Jimmy is now 63 years old. Bravo, “Whirlwind”!

  1. Jimmy played brilliantly. His timing was spot on and his long game looked good too. I really hope Jimmy keeps this level of form up because he will rapidly rise in the rankings if he does.

  2. Good Lord! I haven't seen Jimmy play that well when he was in his prime! I don't know how Anthony McGill won two frames! Really good stuff!

  3. Looking good only really watched snooker when jimmy payed. Can he still to get the world championship next year?

  4. Wow what a legend to think he first appeared in the early 80s. That was a performance of the legend that is Jimmy White …😳❤️❤️❤️❤️

  5. The only reason Jimmy didn’t win more is cos by god his cue ball is so so sloppy. Yeah he’s older now but he’s never changed. Every shot is a recovery shot.

  6. Great match this is the best I’ve seen Jimmy play for years, great performance and great to watch. Thank you for sharing

  7. Jeez – Jimmy playing some delightful touch snooker there – absolute legend that man. Have seen him look as if he could go on a run in the past but maybe became distracted by a few little things that happen on the table or with the ref or the crowd – he looks entirely focused and playing as Steve Davis used to say "without a care" – obviously that's a paradox as to play at such a high level you must care, very deeply – but not to the point where it is driving the play. Always been fascinated by Jim, hope to get to a few exhibitions soon and get to meet the man in person – Go On the Whirlwind lol

  8. Can remember some pundit saying that Jim was the "best high black player in the world" – can't remember the numpty's name but "Jimmy White is one the best snooker players on the planet" – period – you don't get to all those World finals without being that – Hendry was a machine and maybe hungrier than Jim but he was going through all sorts of personal problems in those days – In comparison Hendry had a life where personally everything was done for him – he only had to concentrate on the snooker. Love ya Jimmy

  9. He mightn't have won their world titles but he has actually outlasted Davis and Hendry in terms of age performance.
